In the former Union Train Station, this hotel boasts a 19th century atmosphere and a lobby with Tiffany stained glass windows. The St. Louis Gateway Arch is less than one mile away.
Score from 322 reviews Excellent
The bartender and the food. Our bartender was cursing and making inappropriate jokes. Our room service was late and our food was cold and over priced.
the room was very nice. Quiet and very comfortable. The hot tub was very nice.
Room could be larger for the money.
Location is good and the history is a plus (IMO)
The price if self parking
Staff was great
The room was small, the prices were ridiculous, no free wifi, parking was additional 19.99. I will never return to this hotel...EVER!!!!!
My girlfriend and I took a trip to St Louis and loved our room. We'll be staying here from now on anytime we're in St Louis.
We have stayed here a couple times before, and it's been great every time. Great location, great prices... no complaints at all.
Small restaurant and less options for food compare to hotels nearby.
headlines indicates that hotel made me happy!
Not many options for food
everything especially the size of room
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was simply amazing. I had a fainting spell in the lobby and the care and attention that was payed to me was wonderful. The staff was truly concerned for my well being and it was greatly appreciated. And beyond that the hotel is gorgeous, our room was spacious and very well appointed. Super comfortable beds and first class service all the way around. Parking in the garage directly adjacent to the hotel was easy and very inexpensive. Best value and experience we have ever had. Located in the heart of downtown you cannot beat it. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.
When we checked in it was late and I couldn't find my rewards card and the desk clerk was not very friendly. She answered in short almost annoyed sentences. The morning staff were very friendly.
The bed was so comfortable! The room was very modern and had many unique items in it! We enjoyed having a later check out time than normal very much.
There's no towel hook near the shower so you have to put your towel on the toilet. The parking is not included and is very expensive. The internet is not included and it is very expensive. I paid extra for a corner room thinking I would get rounded windows as are shown in the pictures. I did not. The reality is that a "corner" room is an edge room. You'll have one extra window on another wall with a view of a wall. The staff could not suggest a place to eat. When I asked for the best way to get the Arch, the desk person failed to mention that the passage was closed due to construction. Finally, at about 9:05 a.m. housekeeping decided to randomly pound on our door and everyone else's doors to find out if we were still in the room. That was an unwelcome wake up call.
No shuttle from the airport. Restaurant was not open early enough.
Bartender was standoffish - breakfast server was harried.
Nice comfortable room.
The fact the price shown was 149 plus tax and I paid 230 and had no special amenities. Not sure why you would list a price that low and the hotel charged more..
The hotel was beautiful and very well kept.
We don't have anything negative to say.
My husband and I felt safe walking around. We passed two police officers as we walked to a nearby store. The location is close to the ballpark and nightlife. The hotel bar was open upon our return. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel itself was beautiful. We'd recommend this hotel.
should have had complimentary Wi-fi
Breakfast Buffet Updated Decor Hotel Bar Family Friendly
The construction in progress at the Waterfront.
We liked that we were within walking distance of the Arch and all downtown activities.
The dumpster outside of our hotel was emptied at 3am. This was loud and annoying. Our room had a view of the wall next door.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I didn't like opening the blinds to a brick wall.
The room smelled like a skunk. No vending machine worked. Road noise was horrible.
Easy walk to the stadium.
Room faced another brick building, room never got cold on 86 degree day, room service card never was picked up, so we had to get on the road with no breakfast. Room was like a cubby, and oddly situated at the end of the hall and around a corner.
Location, staff was good
Quality of the food was standard. They didn't have a nice restaurant located within the hotel. We had to go across the street and eat at the Hyatt.
Loved the location and the staff was friendly. Great value for the money.
I was charged a different rate than what I had booked online. I was quoted $171 after taxes by booking my room $179 before taxes.
The overall experience at this location was great
The options for eating on a Wednesdy evening were very limited in the downtown area.
Great location, comfortable bed, quiet
Exercise equipment, treadmills in particular were in poor working condition. The common use bathroom on the lowest level, the stool area extremely dirty!
The staff were very nice and helpful!
