Very clean, very convenient to I-95.
Ok, the coffee provided in the rooms and served in the restaurant isn't very good.
On the morning of check out I pulled a muscle in my back and could barely move. I needed time to try and ease the pain and even try and get dressed. When seeking additional time the hotel said there was little they could do, they were full the next time and I would have to get out, regardless. When advised by a colleague I might not be able to get out by checkout time they said we would have to call an ambulance then as they wanted the room. They then harried us to get out. This Hotel is the lowest of the low when it comes to care or interest in it's guests. As it is close to the main Stamford office blocks it is always busy and hence customer service and care is non existent. If you want to be close to the office and don't care about anything else, then good luck. And I really hope you don't fall it here, as you would be in big trouble.
Our toilet didn't work and it required maintenance to come out in the middle of the night 4 times. They handed me a plunger to attempt to fix it myself the first time I called. The second time they came to the room I was asked "did you even try?" Needless to say I was disappointed in the service.
Wonderful amenities and extremely comfortable, clean bedding where you can see that the spread is changed each time a new guest arrives
Corporate prices are very high so I only stay here on weekends or whenever special rates are offered. The bathroom lighting is very poor -- more like that of a cocktail lounge. Though they offer a make-up mirror it is not lighted.
I enjoyed my stay at the Stamford Hilton. The room was very comfortable; the food was great at the Senses Restaurant; and the entire staff was attentive and helpful.

Just a small thing but get rid of the beat-up chair with the miss matched seat cushion and damaged arms in the room. It didn't fit anyway.

I didn't like the fact that the restaurant staff didn't know whether breakfast was included or not in our room and we didn't receive cuopon or something the first day, we had to ask at desk because we paid for breakfast 2 times.

location is convenient. concierge lounge is comfortable, though closed on weekends.
exercise equipment hasn't been fixed in over a year. always something broken in the room when we go here. no fridge in the room. front desk staff is either incompetent or indifferent or both.
The location is convenient to jump on 95 if driving but if you wanted to cab it or take the metro north which i thought about, it doesnt look good. The outside staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and offered a diverse selection and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel desk clerks were alright in their demeanor. Some were friendly, some barely cracked a pleasantry. They could use some pointers from the outside staff on how to welcome guests. The pool was alright, not aesthetically pleasing at all.

The pillows are terrible and need to be sturdier. Other than that everything was great.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.
The bar/restaurant, Senses, was way overpriced. Although I know to expect that at hotels, it's still robbery. However, the food was good. The hotel room lacked amenities. No refrigerator or microwave. I've been to cheap motels with a lot more amenities than here. Very disappointing and surprising for a Hilton. And the air conditioning was terrible.
The parking situation was horrible . Hotel guests should be able to park their cars easily , just bc there is a party going shouldnt affect the parking for people who are paying for rooms,the hotel guests who pay good money to stay should have better parking.
