Expensive but we had a great stay
No breakfast. An observation area of city views would be nice
We loved the location because everything was at walking distance from the hotel. Also the staff at the reception was very kind.
Although the room was clean, they forgot every day to live amenities for two persons... There was only one shampoo, one conditioner...
Lobby not at street level with times sq crowd
Front desk staff not as friendly as expected
Great location right in the heart of time square. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.
Not cheaper to stay at, but that is manhattan prices. Make sure you get the bed and breakfast option.
We were very disappointed in the surroundings of the Hilton. For the $500 a nite we walked into a small room with no amenities. We were use to at least a coffee maker, or a robe or even an extra blanket. We are accustomed to staying at the Waldorf and decided to choose a place closer to shopping, etc. Never again! The Bellman couldn't even get us a taxi, we needed to walk to another corner of a street and h ail one oursleves. No more of our business.
The convenience to so many things we wanted to see and experience, the ambiance of the hotel, the food and pleasant lounge area, the friendliness and assistance of all we came in contact with. Overall, it was a great experience!
Would have thought the WiFi would have been included, not an extra.
Great location and awesome wiev from 42nd floor. The staff is friendly and helpfull.
Everything was excellent.
Location. Bar views. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds.
No minibar. Poor coffee and tea making facilities. Breakfast was overpriced. Some of the staff were inappropriately informal for example one member of staff was eating at reception whilst speaking to us. Views from room were misleading.
Location. Security people were very helpful with directions to various places. The doorman was very friendly and made sure we had cabs available when needed. View of Times Square
When checking in, I was told I didn't have a reservation! Took about 15 minutes to straighten out. Asked front desk staff twice for directions to various places, was told to google it! Really?! The "convenience" store is a cooler with soft drinks and a rack with chips etc...was expecting an actual store. Not worth the cost of a two night stay.
I liked everything from start to finish, the hotel was beautiful and staff friendly and helpfull. They also give good advice in all the best attractions and helped with transport. The room was a nice size and cozy and the beds were lush and super comfortable. I would definately return again.
There wasnt anything i didnt like about the hotel but i think it would of been nice to have a complimentary alcoholic drink in the mini fridge upon arrival and not just a hot drink. But all in all the hotel was perfect.
Location and very helpful and friendly staff nothing was 2 much trouble :)
The fact that wifi was not FREE in your room in this day and age it should be you pay enough for the room so throw it in although it was free in reception so + & - really
Confortable room Nice view Efficient and friendly Service clean functional
Paid WiFi ( should be included!!!! ) Price ( too expensive )
location , rooms ,staff
Hotel was in an excellent location and to say it was surrounded by shops, restaurants ect it was extremely quiet. The staff were very helpful especially Kenny on reception. The hotel taxi service to the airport was very professional and good value as our return journey to the airport cost the same as our New York taxi to the hotel.
We are well travelled people and this is the only hotel where there has been a charge for wifi. Similar hotels around the world include it free of charge.
Room was large ,comfortable and great view!
They made mistakes on my bill.
No free wifi and no electric kettle
The room, cleanliness. Location good, not great for me but understand it's good for the majority. Some of front desk were pleasant.
Rudeness of some guys in the downstairs lobby. Checked out on the 2nd November and guys asking for more money for tips, and another being rude about giving a few dollars to move4 bags.. It was going to be more, but he was rude, didn't say hello and was heavy handed with luggage.. Infront of us moaned with security guard about amount .. I told him that he didn't even say hello or speak to is and explicated good tip?? Really annoying end...
Comfort & Location
Allergy free room!!!!
no minibar filled, no water at the room, after 22:00 you have to get it yourself, absurd prices without even WiFi (13$ a day extra).
I love the place in the heart of the time square, the staff was very helpful, the room was clean and elegant
Great location, very comfortable , clean , spacious rooms, very helpful staff
Paid WiFi quite slow
WIFI was extremely poor
The location of this hotel was perfect; our room couldn't be better and the ancillary accommodations were great. My only negative was the reception I received at the front desk. My wife stopped to shop while I checked in. The gentleman at the front desk did not want to check me in, even though I was in the reservation, because my wife made the reservation! He told me that he "was doing me a favor by letting me in the room!" The room was prepaid, and I had the credit card that was used. And yes, my wife and I have the same name. As a rewards member, this was not ok.
