Room was clean, bathroom was good. Yes, unfortunately many factors. We had not been informed that there were major rceonstruction efforts taking place at the hotel. As a result of the reconstruction, the first thing we saw getting off the elevator was drywall. There was no fitness center. and we couldn't even get ice without using room service. We would have appreciated being told about these circumstance prior to our confirming our reservation. This experience left us with a bad impression of your hotel, and unlikely to stay there again when we next visit Washington (our daughter lives there). |

Great location. Very kind staff. We were upgraded as it was our wedding anniversary, thanks to the level concierge. What a dream. Big works to build a new pool and refurbish the rooms. Could be noisy at some points. |

Everybody that worked at the Hilton Washington, that I came in contact with, seemed to be committed to make our stay one of the best. Comfort level was low only because of the renovation. It seem like they were working all day directly above our room. The dumpster was near our window, below, and there was a constant flow of stuff sent down to the dumpster. |

I liked the view of the river and the bridge. It was beautiful. When I finally learned through adventuring out, that the hotel is pretty close to the attractions that I liked to see. If you didn't like to walk they had buses and trolley was close by. |

Excellent hotel, despite the on going rennovations. Quite central for visiting the capital, and close by to lots of excellent restaurants and bars. |

Hilton equals quality. The atmosphere was luxurious, location was perfect, staf was friendly. Despite the description, the swimming pool and the fitness room were under construction. This was one of the main reasons that we chose this particular hotel. Also, after check out, we had to pay for leaving our suitcases until our flight. It was only one dollar, but it would have been service to do it for free, like it is in most hotels. I thought that was quite annoying. |

The facilities in the hotel were excellent. However, it was difficult to get in touch with the concierge from time to time. Not quite a dislike, however the iron in the room should be cleaned/replaced more often. Whilst ironing a shirt it 'spat' dirty water on a garment that has left a slight stain and requires dry cleaning to remove it. Also, the majority of people nowadays own either an iPod or an iPhone. Possibly the inclusion of the clock radios having an iPod dock could improve the room facilities. |

The price of the rooms was great. The service was wonderful. It was easy to access sights and shopping. The little bar area was nice and the food was not too bad either. |

inexpensive and convenient location. Good restaurant. Sliding door to bathroom was jammed open. Shower head way off center of shower stall makes shower tighter than it is. |
