Only a little disappointed that the bar was closed the first night but the staff that manned the lobby lounge was great and made up for it. I would definitely visit again...thanks
I got a very good deal on a room on the executive floor. Good value for money.
The hotel has a layout with very long corridors, so very long walks to and from your room.
Ask for Clifton at the front desk. Great guy who was super helpful. Well located and not too far from the Metro. Safe and clean as well.
The facilities all-round.
Had a glitch with parking but that was resolved.
Cleanliness, comfort of bed, good location, nice restaurant and bar
35.00 a night for parking
Service was good
Resteraunts were expense
When in DC, I have always stayed in Washington Hilton. I have not been to DC for several years and the property has really lost its charm.
It appears that the hotel has gone through a renovation. The main goal of the designer they used seems to be to seriously downgrade the property. The interior is cheap, uncomfortable and designed not to impress. They have go ten rid of the steakhouse downstairs, downgraded the bar, the breakfast buffet is not what it used to be. Apparently it is now run by some DC deli. The attitude and communication skills of the staff is not what one would expect at a good business hotel: unhelpful, disrespectful, forgetful. I booked a room at the executive floor, of course it was not available. After insisting, they finally managed to find a room. The executive lounge is really basic. In all fairness, if you are looking for a reasonable 3 star hotel, the Washington Hilton is probably a good choice, but I am just so used to the old Hilton that the overall experience I had was disappointing. I will not be returning any time soon.
Parking is expensive and i stay for 6 night i thought i should get cheeper paking And i ask for one hour extra for chek out in week days they refuse to do so .
Was impressed with the desk, floor and wait staff--they maintained helpful friendly attitudes in spite of the crush of a huge meeting. They answered questions, directed the lost, brought us food and drink with great cheer.
Bathrooms for conference attendees weren't maintained. Shortages of toilet paper and paper towels, taps that didn't function. Need far more sitting places. The hotel was too maze-like and confusingly laid out to house the meeting efficiently. Maps were uninformative.
Gorgeous view from our room Remodeled bathroom/room A window that opened! Free wireless Coffee shop in lobby Friendly and helpful staff
I'm pretty sure someone from housekeeping took my 7 day pill container. It disappeared from the room. Had to spend 3 hours on our last day searching the room and getting the meds replaced.
The bell man was able to provide me with an umbrella to use for the day.
The check in process was lengthy, and then the desk clerk failed to explain that my room, #1149 was on the first floor. I thought she said 3rd floor, and was frustrated when I could not locate my room. I had to go back to the front desk to figure out the room numbering scheme.
Good location to walk to the tourist areas Metro 10 minutes away. Also the Big Bus tour departs right outside the hotel.
DC Brau Ale in the bar was off/cloudy compared to other bars waitress changed it no problem I was just disappointed.
Hotel was convenient to attractions. Room was comfortable, carpet, bathroom in good shape.
Front staff was always busy, could not get questions answered. Room cleaning staff did not leave towels, wash cloths, soap. Refused to change sheets. Had to chase cart around, didn't even get plastic bags for ice bucket. Don't think we would return.
Every thing perfect location great service hugh value for money
Dupont Circle is a great area to stay. The staff were good. The hotel is great value for money.
The door didn't open to 90° in the room but only about 70° because of poor architecture.
Wifi too expensive
Silent, close the metro station, price is suit and close the supermarket
Condition work in the rom ıt was very noisy and the see side from the Windows was not good
the front desk who help check out the service is aweful, he make a mistake on the amount and very rude
Spacious room, clean hotel, excellent breakfast (though expensive if not included), reactive staff.
No free wifi in room, very noisy AC/heater, could hear neighbors.
Room was very dated. Needs to be upgraded. Carpet needs to be replaced. Size of room small
Room only available for early check in on payment of an additional amount. Although available it could not be guaranteed but immediately available at extra charge.
Bed was comfy. Breakfast buffet had nice variety; omelet bar was very good. Coffee in room was delicious. Location was excellent. Public spaces were accommodating and spacious.
Room was a double but was small for two adult people. Closet and bathroom also small. Shower head was too low. Coffee in restaurant was undrinkable.
Location Staff were very friendly Amenities Updated rooms
The rooms were generally clean but the plastic covers we removed from the hotel slippers were left on the floor after the supposed room cleaning.
it was comfortable
they charged me an extra 100 bucks for no reason and when i called they refused to help
It was too far from the places I was going to visit and spent too much on taxi.
