The wi fi
Our young son loved the pool! Location was convenient to many sites and to the Metro, in a vibrant neighborhood.
Position was great short walk to DuPont Circle. Nice hotel good well appointed rooms good dining options
Toiletries were never replaced over 3 day visit , important when you have bought your own as travelling light. Not having free wifi in rooms was problem - cost in rooms was way too high. I gad requested high floor with view only got on 3rd floor
My mother and I had to share a bed, and a full size bed, which was in the room, was not big enough. My sister was in the other bed. Please suggest that queen size beds should be in the rooms rather then full size
The cranberry/mint water was perfect at the end of the day
would have liked paper in morning
- Buffet breakfast was very nice - Staff is friendly - Bed was comfortable
- Ticking noise in my bedroom (apparently linked to air conditioning despite I put it off). - Internet very expensive
Good situated, good breakfast
No free internet in the room. In 2014 this should be standard.
I love really the stuff From door man reception front door Every one perfect stuff we feel home .Thank you hilton dc stuff
What I don't like no water for drinks I have to call the bring This is hilton I mean big hotel and 24 hours room service they don't have
Small rooms for the price we paid.
The pool was sparkling clean, the patio was inviting with comfortable seating and fire pits, the rooms were spacious and clean. Concierge service was very helpful.
The restaurant was very expensive for breakfast. There are extra fees we did not expect. Fee for gym and fee for wi-fi in room.
It was very convenient to catch the BigBus right in front of the hotel. The food was good and most of the staff was friendly and helpful.
The bellmen were rude and unhelpful.
Very clean Staff was friendly Good location A lot to do
For as expensive as the hotel is, it didn't even include a fridge or a microwave. The HD channels didn't work.
Slow running showers No fridge
The flavored water available at the door in the afternoon. The food was excellent, room service was hot and the breakfast buffet had a big selection of hot and cold foods and it was tasty. The room was okay. Housekeeping responded fast to my request for more towels and they brought more toiletries. The servers were helpful and friendly.
The front desk was slow and I was not given any maps of the area or told where the elevators were. The lack of a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The concierge, hard to get his attention and when I had it he was not very helpful. The room was small. I had a king bed. The pool had two swim lanes and the other half was for swimming around. Not enough room for the amount of guests. Nothing special about it. This was the first time I was in a hotel that dogs were aloud. I heard dogs barking at midnight. I didn't like that.
We 100% enjoyed how we were treated by the overall staff!
Although it was actually our room, the cleaning staff let us into the room for an emergency and did not verify it was actually our room. The cleaning staff was not a detailed as I would expect from this particular establishment. The rate to park our car on site was outragious. The price I was quoted at our check in (almost midnight) was assumed a rate for our stay, not a daily rate.
Location Room Cleanliness
No free in-room wi-fi No complimentary breakfast
Nice stores, coffee shop, restaurant.
Had to change date 2 wks before arrival and hotel would not honor online rate. Insanity!
Came in really late, midnight, from long 12 hour drive and staff was really nice and parking valet helped me with car even though they were booked full with parking and figured out where he could put my car. I was able to leave it 24 hours while i toured the city. Bell hop helped us with luggage at almost 1 in morning. Staff in convenient store located on first floor were so nice both times I made purchases and gave me a free coffee. Took hop on hop off trolley around DC and it picked us up right in front of hotel. Valet quickly retrieved my car for me when trip was complete! Thank you for making our quick overnite as pleasant as possible!!!!
Very friendly staff except for lady at Reception. Conciege and breakfast staff as well as Simon at Bell desk very friendly. Room very nice. Omelettes at breakfast the best ever!
Air conditioner noisy.
Excellent breakfast buffet.
No free WiFi in the room. However, there is a free WiFi zone by the lobby.
Don't forget the $35 dollar a day parking. A room for 129 costed me $250. Hilton charged me $25 on two separate occasions with zero explanation. When I spoke to the front desk the man said his manager would email me. I never received and email. The shower head is almost on the edge of the tub and makes you feel like you're falling out. Overall a bad experience for charging me 120 dollars extra.
Your staff was very friendly and accommodating. My family and I enjoyed our stay.
The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. We were on the 10th floor for Hilton Honors customers and we had a very nice continental breakfast.
One of the reasons we chose the Hilton was for the on-site garage. We arrived late on Friday and spent almost an hour with the concierge trying to find us a parking space suggesting we ride around and try to find street parking or walk 5 blocks late at night . After getting the manager, an employee was leaving and we took his parking spot. We thought this was the result of out late arrival but on Saturday night we came back at 6 and the full sign was again up as there was a convention. We were finally let in and did find a space but it was an unnecessary hassle, They should tell you when booking that parking may not be available so you could choose to book elsewhere.if on-site parking is important to you
Great outdoor pool. Conveniently located, near great restaurants, nice easy walk to nice bars.
The location is good near to DuPont circle with very good restaurants.
The room they mentioned was to accommodate 4 persons but there is 2 single bed...so it very uncomfortable narrow....the reception insist that is not true they can accomadate 4 in this room and was arrogant to say we sell it this way you can do what you want if you want to sleeping on the floor...it your business...
