We enjoyed our stay and everything at the hotel was good
near DuPont Circle eateries and subway
food was great......staff was great...they remember your name.....beds comfortable
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location within walking distance of a metro station.
The walls are thin so you can hear the guests next door
Excellent location in a vibrant neighborhood. Very quiet room with comfortable bed.
Door hardware missing on bathroom door. Wall paper peeling. Stood in line to check in for quite a while. Only one front staff working but it was late at night. However, a person came out from the back, twice, glanced at the line that was four deep, and went back to her office behind the counter. Excellent customer service would have been for her to step in to get the line moving. Finally, the horrible smoking area right beside the entrance is an exceptionally poor choice. I very much disliked running the smokers' gauntlet just to get into the property.
Upgraded to hilton honors floor which got us away from a lot of the partying that goes on in that hotel. The beds, pillows, etc were comfortable and the size of the room was fairly large.
Woken up twice the first night by extremely loud party in the next room and the following night could barely get by the crowd/event that was happening to get to our room. Normally I wouldn't blame the hotel for actions of the guests, but I think they cater to large groups because of the sheer size of the property.
Comfy beds Helpful staff Very clean Location very good for price.
No free wifi in rooms - even hostels offer this nowadays! Terrible light in bathroom (which had a glass door) that stopped us sleeping until we created a suitcase tower to block it. Drilling outside the room on new apartment block fairly early in morning (8am)
Could not fault the Hilton Hotel, excellent location and service received breakfast was fab, room very comfortable and transport service excellent
Location, nice place of the town Price Food (good restaurants nearby) Clean, nice rooms sightseeing bus stop very close Agent to help you to plan your stay
Could be a bit closer to subway, but acceptable. Many homeless guys at the dupont circle
All of it................
Having to go to the lobby for wifi
I can't say enough about how professional and friendly the staff is at this hotel. From check-in to wait staff to cashier. All are friendly, helpful and exceed your expectations. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. So many food options and all very tasty. The room was modern and yet cozy and everything was very clean.
Wish there was a closer metro station or some hotel shuttles to get to main sites. Parking is expensive and outside the hop-on hop-off bus or cabs, there is little transportation options.
1. Very clean and comfortable 2. Money worth
Location was OK
The room servicing there were NO glasses in the room or bathroom. My desk chair broke. You could hear the guests in both rooms either side talking. So soundproofing was very poor.
No wifi in the rooms.
The staff were excellent and sorted a major problem quickly, (otherwise the hotel would have been flooded). We were upgraded after the problem to the executive 10th floor but the room was pretty much the same so there was no advantage, in fact it was a bit of a fag because it took a lot longer to reach the room! The hotel is in a great location just off Dupont Circle near to everything, all the attractions, restaurants etc. The rooms are rather dated but importantly are clean and comfortable, similar to Premier Inn in the UK.
This is not a 4 Star hotel, it is rather dated and could do with a makeover! The executive lounge is a joke!
Lexuary hotel and closed to the main attractions.
There was no refrigrator, trash was only small one in the bathroom. The parking is expensive ($36) and the breackfast too ($27). No internet too.
Friendly and helpful staff, clean hotel and room, All necessary facilities available in the hotel, excellent breakfast!
Don't like the bed covers--too warm.
-Walking distance from live jazz, great restaurants and the Metro
-on-site parking CRAZY expensive, being there on the weekend helped with free street parking just across the street (from ballroom entrance)
Location and shops near by lots of restaurants to choose from. We caught the trolley in front of our hotel and toured all over washington and they dropped us back at the washington hilton. Beds were very comfortable.
I really can't complain about anything, they took care of anything we requested in reason of course. We did not like the view from our room so they moved us to another location without hesitation. Thanks washington hilton for a memorable stay with your hotel.
The rooms were very nice, very clean. Bed was a little soft but extremely comfortable. The location was convenient, close to food, shops and public transportation.
I returned to my room one afternoon to pick up an umbrella only to find that my door was left completely open by the hotel staff. I phoned the front desk immediately who put me through to security. Security stated that they would look into the matter but we never received any follow up from the hotel at all regarding this incident. In the hundreds of hotel stays that I have had, I have never returned to find my door left completely wide open. I was extremely dissappointed by the hotel's lack of response or apology for this incident.
staff was friendly, the room comfy and slept like a baby
it's a bit further away from dupont circle that it seems on the map, be prepared for a bit of walking up hill if you are planning to get there using the subway
A spotless, modern and very quiet hotel.
We went on the trolley tour and was happy that it stopped in front of the hotel. Lots of restaurants near by.
