Decor, dining experience, location, local attractions
A place where one can imagine life in another age - beautiful ballroom, meeting rooms, lobbies, plenty of history about the site and the hotel and everything of gracious comfort out of the 1940s movie.
Parking is inconveniently behind the hotel with no direct passage and no elevator access to multi-level spaces. It was not a problem for me, but for someone who had trouble walking, it might be difficult, uncomfortable, or even impossible. Returning after a dinner elsewhere I was forced to park on the top level, walk down two flights of stairs, around the building and into a side door lower lobby.
Location, view from our room, fascinating historic building, great breakfast, large TV with many channels. Bethlehem is a great place to visit, with interesting neighborhoods, museums, good restaurants.
Room a bit small. Full quoted price is too high, but we were satisfied with what we paid through booking.com
The hotel Bethlehem is stunning. The rooms are beautiful and super comfortable. Even the bathrooms are beautiful.
The location was ideal, and this hotel was definitely the place to be during Musikfest. Daily festivities were both close by, as well as offered within the hotel daily. We would not hesitate to return.
The bathroom was a little too small.
everything about it
the price of the room-and then they still charged for parking
The hotel was clean, and location was perfect. The street is great for walking and eating at the local restaurants.
Nothing, all was good.
Friendly, smiling staff Clean, well preserved facilty
Couldn't stay longer
Paying for parking.
Beautiful historic building with all of the modern conveniences in a classic, quaint town.
The hotel was beautifully furnished and our room was well appointed and very nice. It also was very quiet. The bed and pillows were SO comfortable and we loved the silky sheets. When our coffee maker wasn't working, we called and an employee came within a couple of minutes. We had dinner one night in the Tap Room and it was very good! Also liked having the shuttle to take us to the bus line to return to the Newark Airport. Altogether, a most enjoyable stay!
Bathroom was very small, but that's understandable in a historic hotel. One day we were there was quite warm for April and we were not able to get our room cooled down as much as we would have liked.
I loved the Old Victorian / Contemporary Feel of the Hotel
Historic displays and historic feel of the hotel - set in historic Area with many old Moravian Buildings and reference - easy access to Lehigh and Lafayette Colleges.
The Hotel was fabulous. The bed was very comfortable very clean luxurious hotel with great food and staff. The only thing was I thought it was to warm in the room and hotel. Overall, fantastic.
The hotel was a little to warm and so was the room and I couldn't adjust the temp.
Coming 'home' to Bethlehem, having grown up there in the 50's and 60's is no longer the same. With parents gone, our family needed to 'find room at the Inn' and, over the years, our stay at the Hotel Bethlehem is a lot like coming home. Staff are friendly and helpful and the sights and sounds and smells which surround us make our holiday homecoming a wonderful experience each year. Thanks to you all!
Very nice rooms and the location is just perfect. Great place to spend Christmas Eve.
The location was great. Loved the little town fro shopping.
As a stay at hotel guest we could not go to bar for a drink . No place for guest paying for the room to have a drink or lunch Sent us out to the street.People on the street have all the fun at bar and enjoying lunch or dinner. They should have something better for the guest. Rooms were high price for the weekend.
We We're able to have our corgi,Lydia, stay with us. All of staff were extremely friendly. Hotel was very festive.
The staff at Hotel Bethlehem are exceptional! They go out of their way to satisfy you. The hotel is romantic and elegant with a charm that extends from the lobby to your private room. Situated near quaint shops, it is a "must go to" destination.
a bit small but cozy
Love this hotel. great restaurant, very comfortable beds, and clean.
The hotel's location is excellent The restaurants are within walking distance.
1. Water pressure was kind of low (7th floor). 2. The front desk clerk did not ask how our stay was when when we checked out.
The location of the hotel can't be beat, and he staff at the Front Desk were always friendly and helpful. Their apologies for the lack of newspapers were so sincere that I didn't even mind the problem.
Newspapers ran out early and the message button on my phone didn't work. I was given an awkward "workaround," and I hope they fixed it for the next person in Room 527.
Only stayed one night and didn't arrive until 10:00 pm, but loved the décor, architecture, charm, etc.
My only complaint was that we paid cash at checkout, however the room cost was still also deducted from my checking account with the debit card number I provided to reserve room. Why was I charged twice?
