Toilet dripping the whole night Noisy because of route 1. Nobody to talk to except through a telephone
coffee shop next door
no staff wifi did not work well
room stinks, too on the road, no breakfast, no contact with the staff only by phone
Shower curtain moldy and black. Email me for a picture. Not happy
We slept well even though - 1. Toilet was leaking onto bathroom floor 2. No hot water 3. Light bulb blown out 4. No management personnel on site the whole time Great cafe next door (Moka)
They need a manager on site for the twenty plus rooms.
good location for me. free laundry (but no soap or soap machine and no trash can for link or kitchen trash)
Room had an extremely musty smell and I couldn't open windows to air it out. Wi fi was poor. At times I couldn't get on. One coffeemaker for all to share - and no coffee cups! And the filters were for a different kind. No staff! All check-in was done over the phone. I was told that this was because it's historic. What, old hotels didn't even have a front desk?
Cute building exterior
No cup in bath. Air Conditioner filter needed to be cleaned badly. Very unusual check-in and check out. Closet door painted shut. Poor parking lot. No coffee as stated. We never saw a person.
I got upgraded to best room, so got good deal. If they continue refurb things should be good
No staff on site
Great location and price
Room had an Oder, wifi off and on.
check in, carpet dirty throughout, size of room, towel fees, noise under renovation, no hot water. I would like a refund.
I'm sure there must have been something - oh yes, the towels were fluffy, the shower was new and effective and the Cafe Moca attached to the hotel was good, when it was open.
At $88 including tax for a queen sized room, we were expecting something reasonable - we had paid a week previously just $3 more for a king sized room at the Hilton in central Washington DC. But the hotel was shabby; rooms were small; no reception staff (you have to phone them to get in); there were two upturned sofas in the reception area; the bed was clean, but the sheet was torn and the feather pillows had slight smell; no coffee making equipment in the room - there was just one coffee machine for the whole hotel in a "pantry" room (which also doubled as a store for furniture), but no coffee, milk or cups; there were no cups in the room either (we had to steal some paper cups from the Cuban Cafe next door); the taps in the bathroom were loose and the wifi didn't work. The Cafe Moca closes at 5pm, and as we arrived later we had to go to the less than salubrious Cuban Cafe to eat. The hotel fronts on to the four lanes of the Interstate highway and is sandwiched between the Cuban Cafe (a truck stop really) and an auto repair workshop. Very disappointing.
Quiet. For the money it is a nice place to stay for a few nights
The location, small but very quaint. Lovely grounds.
Never saw staff, no ice on premises, I could find.
I like the towels and the bed linen
the rooms were too small, the bed backboard kept making noise everytime one move. The place needs total renovation. It was kind of spooky
Slight issue was handled quickly, professionally, & to our satisfaction.
Our stay was too short, our own fault
not having the hassle of checking in
The bed was not very cozy.a better mattress pad, pillows and comforter would help
Clean and comfortable good for the price
Close to road, close to marina in very quiet bay, parking available
No staff for check-in/check-out. TV from room across the hallway very easily to hear. "Curtain" not removable to look out of window.
The ease of checking in, even without hotel staff on site. They were round quickly when I had a small issue which turned out to be my mistake.
The bed was big and pretty comfy and there was parking available.
No one actually works in the hotel, there is just a phone as you walk in where you need to check in. The worst part is that they put you on hold for ages and are pretty rude when they eventually get round to picking up. We had problems with our room and had to call back and get put on hold again. The rooms were shabby, the location is miles from where you want to be and there is nothing convenient within walking distance. Would not recommend and would not stay here again.
Or bed was dirty and there was food on the sheets and comforter. There were Cigarette ashes all over the floor. It smelled really bad! I would rather sleep in my car than stay in this hotel. By far the most disgusting hotel I have seen.
It was easy to get to.
Parking was limited and there was no staff in hotel.
Close to the highway, free parking. The bathroom and the sheets were clean.
No staff on site, check in and check out over a telephone. There were some problems with our reservation which didn't appear in their system, this was to be solved by morning, but at the check-out someone else from the staff over the phone didin't know abything about our case. Air conditioning was broken, it barely cooled the room to 86F and was incredibly loud. We couldn't sleep because of the noise it made. Whole place is dimmly lit, there seemed to be no staff at the site.
