The bed was comfortable, the room clean, the price and location were good
The wi-fi did not work for my room, even after the server was reset. The towels were clean and a little threadbare, but they did work...
Front desk staff was nice. This is the only staff I was In contact with.
Cleanliness needs evacuating. There was hair in my tub. So I cleaned it. But I let them clean it once and when I came back more really long brown hair. (I have short black hair) that being said I cleaned my room again. I purchased cleaners to do this.
It was quiet and the breakfast (including waffles) was nice.
Most of the staff was very polite. The breakfast wasn't too bad except the juice machine wasn't the correct balance for concentrate and water.
One staff member was rude to my sister. No fridge in the room was a little disappointing. The toilet paper holder and cover for tissues were falling out of the wall but otherwise the room condition wasn't too bad.
Cheaper then some of the other places around.
There were hairs in the bathroom and cobwebs all over the ceiling. A stain on the sheet was not very attractive either. The noise by the highway was very loud and we were woken up several times by the loud trucks going by.
The may in the bath tub had some word stuff underneath, staff replaced it
Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good. Good value for price.
Rooms are outdated.
night staff very aloof India Man was not very customer service oriented only 2 towels in room
Had everything one would need for a comfortable break from long car trip. Great value for the money. Excellent breakfast included in cost. Liked that I could control temperature for our room easily. Also free WiFi. Not bad!
Had elderly friend with me. No elevator, so at age 92 she had to carry her bars up stairs. (Would not let me do it for her). Beds were a bit too hard for me but realize that is just a preference thing. Also wished had local maps and stamps
Everything was fine. Good price, Good location. Would stay again 9/26/2014
When checking out, I simply asked for the hotel clerk's name from a female front desk clerk. She asked why I inquired for Julian's name and then she apologized about the treatment we received.
From the beginning, our experience didn't start out well. The front desk person, Julian, had an attitude from the moment I walked into the hotel. The hotel did not have our reservation, which was made more than two months in advance. When he finally agreed to give us a room, he wanted to charge us $25 more a night than the price quoted on this website. Then when he was able to miraculously accommodate us, we were given what seemed to be the worst room in hotel (AVOID room 205). But maybe all the rooms are like this. The door looked like it had been kicked in at one point. The inside security lock was broken. The couch arms were filthy. The towel looked like it was used as toilet paper. The bedding was worn. We didn't dare eat the breakfast. We have stayed in two star hotels before without any of these kinds of difficulties. I assure you this is not an exaggeration. We would not stay at this hotel again. It was a VERY unpleasant experience.
Breakfast was poor. The staff were not friendly - almost unwelcoming, the selections were limited, and the facility was too small.
Comfortable bed, helpful front desk, WiFi, good Italian restaurant next door
Leaky bath tub spout, big centipede on wall, old faded towels
Continental breakfast a big hit
Need little TLC, particularly update on room TV and cable provider
the room size was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. the air conditioning was excellent...the bedding was clean, including the bedspread...
the entire rug was stained...the remote control holder on the nightstand was extremely dirty...and the bathroom needs to be updated...including the bathtub which is old and stained. the location of the towel rack needs to be placed somewhere else, my sister banged her head very badly on the corner of this towel rack.
The bath tub didn't drain water didn't go down and no one check or clean the room told me they were coming and never came took my own garbage out and got my own linen stayed here before and never encountered this before
The night manager was polite, friendly, and appeared to value my complaints. She made attempts to help me find a clean room, but was not successful secondary to having no housekeeping at that time. The rooms were spacious for the price, and the extra sink was a plus. My room was well insulated, so that I was unable to hear the noise a few doors down once I entered my room and closed the door.
Poor cleanliness most likely due to low staff to room ratio. The following were dirty: 1)Mirrors, 2)refrigerator, 3)toilet paper and tissue holders (like they have never been cleaned), 4)bedside table top (something oily on it). The sheets were worn and ripped. The tub and tub surround was stained, and the tub drained poorly. I stood in a foot of water while showering. Yuck! I was shown two other rooms, but they had much of the same problems. There was an odd placement of a chair that was not paired with the other chair at the table, as if the staff forgot to place it back at the table. The door key did not work a couple of times. Once, when I tried to enter the building when the key was not working, I was soaked from the pouring rain. A canopy over the back doors would be helpful.
Close to Airport Price for a short stay
Front desk reception person was not at all friendly, almost cynical! He was just as unpleasant in the morning..maybe he did not like the night shift ! When I booked this location, I questioned transportation to the a/P..i was told not problem..I Could call a cab. I asked the "not so happy" clerk at the counter for a phone # for a cab in the morning. He gave me the Yellow Cab phone # which I called that evening for a 5:45am p/u and was told "OK". We were downstairs at 5:30am..5:45 No cab..needless to say..the yellow cab finally showed up at 6:15..we had a 7:03am boarding...We were not happy..the front desk clerk was of no help either! We very surprised considering the sign in the front lobby..." a happy Place to stay"! Next time, maybe I'll have to pay a little more to get a smile....
quiet location, very secure-ample parking-major highways close by-king bed was comfortable- very good food at Union Square Diner adjacent to hotel
pool not operational, edge off carpet all around room needed a good cleaning, sink outside of bathroom didn't drain well -minifridge very noisey-mold on tub cauking-shower enclosuer had built up of soap scum
The lobby and dining area was immaculate wish the rooms matched that
Hallways were extremely hit. The tub was scratched I didn't know if it was dirty or not. The chair In room was falling apart and filthy
The price and location were very good. If traveling by car, it is close to the interstates and has sufficient continental breakfast for kids, especially the waffle maker. We arrived late and left fairly early. It was clean and you could control cooling and fan in the room.
Our booking of nonsmoking king bed came up for our request for 2 adults and 2 children, so we thought there would be a sofa bed that pulls out for the kids. When we checked in at 11 PM, our room had a king bed but only one additional small chair; no sofa bed. Fortunately, there was space on the floor for our camping mattress which we had in the car and it inflates in less than a minute with its small pump. So we could put the kids on it, with their own flannel throws that we also carry with. We got an additional blanket from the night desk man and all was well. The hotel is not new and smelled somewhat of smoke despite the nonsmoking room.
the breakfast was fine the bathroom seemed clean the hotel did not know about our request for rollaway bed, but the attendant was able to find a room which had a sofa bed for our son because there were no more rollaways
the room was shabby, the pads on the bed did not cover the mattress, the sheets were thin - one group in our party had to request a different room because there was so much dirt on the floor
front desk was helpful with our problems.
The rooms were not very clean, there was a bathrobe left hang on the back of the bathroom door from the previous tenant. Our shower didn't work, we had to call the front desk to get some one to turn it on then the temperature didn't change. finally we got a second room just for the shower.
. Staff very friendly . Worked to accommodate special request even though they did not receive them from bookings.com . After several attempts to fix Wi-Fi they moved my room so I could get my work done. . Staff knowledgable of the area had many good suggestions. . Room was clean and odor free
. Special info never received. . Wi-fi not strong and dead in some parts of the facility. . Lobby had odd odor when entering but cleared up by the desk. . The A/C was not covering vending area, very hot this time of year. . No elevator
I like the yard.
Bathroom is nit too clean, but thats okay maybe it hasnit been used for a while
