Staff are very very helpful and friendly they made the stay better....
Smell moldy carpets are old just smells old
Reasonable location and low cost
Old hotel in need of refurbishment.
OLD, NEEDS UPDATING.
Good Location but everywhere is on Waikiki It was clean Robbie at front desk was good - ONLY
Very old, thing broken and not working. Uncomfortable Beds Room service can't make a bed, literlly just tucked in top cover didn't straighten anything. Very noisy Air con
the location was good
the facility is in desperate need of an update, the rooms smell musty, the bathrooms were inadequate, small , dungeon like, very much 1950's. we saw mold in the bathroom and in the room. the door to the balcony was rusty, the carpet was old and frsying. For the price it was a rip off
That it had outlets and warm water.
The curtains were ripped, and dirty. The ac kept turning off at night, there was a dirty bucket on the balcony. The shower had mold on it, and so did the bath mat. I wore my flip flops in the shower. They make you put down a $100 deposit, and pay $10 a day extra for wi-if and ac. The silverware was dirty and dusty. There were cracks all over the walls. The head of my bed was unscrewed from the wall. If you have a vehicle you have to pay $25, to park overnight, and parking stalls are limited.
The hotel is not so bad but they charged us double and don't reply after two mails... And so the good things don't stay in mind
We mailed them twice that they charged us two times! No reply, no refund ... Very bad performance!!! Also we don't had the entertainment stuff. So they told us to don't charg us the 10 dollar fee... But they took it from our kreditcard as well... So I wouldn't recommend this hotel!
very close to everything
dishes are not washed while you stay
The view , the room, the staff, the location. Good safe area, close to buses, short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping close as well.
I had to leave.
The pool was great, staff were helpful, we were able to book last minute (12.30am the morning we checked in) and still get the room we wanted. There were two air conditioners in the room (bedroom and main room).
It wasn't very clean and there was a moldy smell in the room itself. The shower could definitely have been more thoroughly cleaned. Free wifi only in lobby, not in room which is a pain.
It took too long to check-in. Thankfully the staff was courteous and very apologetic.
Hotel was located very close to waikiki Beach and the bus stop to Airport and Pearl Harbour is just behind the corner. Room was quite big and the bad was simply amazing. The wifi in the lounge never gave me problem just Sometimes when a lot of people was using that. The staff is very Helpfull and you can count on them in every moment if the day.
It was the least expensive of the hotels.
It's OLD. Bed and pillows are not comfortable.
location and quietness of the hotel
going down to the lobby before I can get internet hidden charges not specified or mentioned online
Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Don't know of a better staff anywhere!
Parking was horrible.
Location and accommodations
Prices (but it was very high season) and a non mentioned mandatory fee per day for using wifi and other simple stuff (US$ 10/day)
Price was O.K. if it would have been clean.
Carpet smeeling bad, not clean rooms.
only the location
very old, smell rooms, never seen such small and small uncomfort ugly bathroom,
when we came the Clark told us that we should pay 10$ each room every day. When I asked why his answer was that it is convince fee for free shuttle in Waikiki . He told me that booking.com knew about it and I should blame them. Just let you know! The shuttle is free!! They told me that I will get a card. They didn't give me any card. Still the shuttle is free to enyone who likes. Kind of getting money for nothing. 2. The free wifi is near the pool only. 3. The restaurant in area isn't clean. It has stiky tables and floor.
Location. The Hotel was close to the restaurants and shops, a short walk and you are amongst it all. We used the local buses to get around and they were very close. In all the location was perfect. Outlook from balcony was good and we were not overlooked.
Our booking was lost and as we had arrived early, we had to wait 6 hours until 3 pm for our room to be ready. No effort was made to get us into a room even 2 minutes early. Noisy. The air conditioning unit was very old and noisy. It was too hot to not have it on and too much street noise to have the windows open. Even with the windows closed there was a lot of street noise during the night. WIFI Whilst we signed up for the in-house WIFI it was very slow and non-existent on many days. Comfort. The only bed seemed very small. In all at over $300/nigh it was very poor value.
Key card hard to use in the elevators noise from floors above
Bed and restroom.
They did not abide by booking.com website, which stated public parking available for $20/day. We were told there were only 19 parking spaces available on a 1st come 1st serve basis but we could park somewhere else for $30/day, they would not reimburse us as the should have as per booking.com ad. we rented 3 suites with 4 per room, there weren't enough, dishes, towels in each room it seems they weren't prepared for us. Blanket filthy. bedding needed to be inspected more carefully. Kenny the night clerk was awesome!!
Staff were outstanding. Very friendly and accommodating. Great location for Waikiki and all of the hype around this fabled part of Honolulu, but there's much, much more to see on O'ahu than Waikiki.
The need for a thorough upgrade is aparent--carpet stains, and old fixtures. Parking is awful in Waikiki and you either pay dearly, or waste time looking for open spots.
