The beds and bedding were super comfortable. The breakfast was "OK". Bring your own protein like hard boiled egg or cheese if you're not a yogurt lover.
The hot tub was VERY small and dirty. It would occupy 4 adults max. Probably a deal breaker if you like to soak after long day on slopes.
We loved that we had access to a kitchen and everything seemed to work very well, the staff was amazing. We went on a crappy weekend with crappy weather and they seemed to care and feel sorry about the weather even though they didn't have any control over it. You could tell it was a family owned place and sometimes that's a lot nicer than these bigger companies just out for your money. Reasonably priced!!
The beds were a little firm but not bad, the heat circulation from the living room into the bedroom wasn't great but the bedding was warm so it wasn't a big issue
Showers is good, room is big with a nice futon too.
Room is connected to the neighboring room, hence noise can easily disturbs another.
Price was cheap for New Years Weekend Walking distance to the Village
Walls seem paper thin, you can hear people having a normal conversation in the room next door but I am a deep sleeper so I dealt with it easily
Wifi was slow
- Really nice room with fireplace and kitchen - Skibus started next to Motel - breakfast included
Friendly staff:) cool location, super close to village! Nice view of Forrest. Yummy continental breakfast.
The Room! Used booking.com and wasn't the same room I booked. Plus just wasn't up to my standards. Motel 6 worthy.
Very kind staff, nice place to stay.
Location was ok, though a bit hard to spot hotel from road. Rooms were comfy. Fireplace looked nice, but we were warm enough. Didn't expect it to light up in middle of night cause temp dropped. Woke up boiling with fire blazing at 2.30am. Took me a while to find out that needed to turn room thermostat down
would have liked a fridge and coffee machine we could use at night, or at least some cups that we could use in microwave for hot drinks. room wasn't quite as clean as some we've been in, but nothing terrible, only a few cobwebs on ceiling. Don't think staff about much at night.
Everything was great we wished we could have stayed longer.
The place is very cosy an clean. Facilities are perfect. Wifi works perfectly.
Breakfast could have more options and if dinning room is that beautiful than rooms, they would earn one more star.
Bears. Broken shower
It was convenient for a trip to Devils Postpile. The room was huge with a kitchen but for a us a smaller and less costly room would have been more suitable.
The breakfast was very poor - go elsewhere for your breakfast. The lighting in the room was very gloomy. Out of season (Sept) the hotpool was out of use. We were recommended a restaurant by the staff that was closed on the day we were there.
A large clean well furnished room, with small kitchenette & coffee making machine albeit without coffee supplied. Free Wi-Fi. Good location close to town centre. Typical US breakfast offering were OK
Breakfast area too small for the amount of rooms. No Air-con only ceiling fans.
The room was very big and super-clean. We had a very nice, quiet and comfortable stay in this little hotel. Would definitely recommend it!
LIked the room size with two queen beds and fireplace. Also liked the coffee and bagels.
I didn't see real butter or real half and half for breakfast.
The accommodation is located close to the centre of mammoth lakes. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and had a fireplace. Breakfast was simple but good.
Big and comfort bad, TV with all channels you need. Warm room.
It took some time untill thge fireplace started to heat the room.
Very helpful staff. Large room overlooking woods with chipmunks and squirrels to watch. Nice basic breakfast included. Walking distance of shops and restaurants.
The staff was very kind and the room was excellent. Nice with the fireplace and the view from the window was into the forest. Great hot tub which we enjoyed under the stars. We will come back!!
Breakfast was nothing special as usual, but in the city you will have nice bakerys.
paolo the receptionist made us very welcome.just one night on road to Yosemite, really a winter ski resort.town pretty quiet mid September.
Beautiful setting, excellent facilities (bathroom had a heater/fan to dry all your clothes), plenty of space in the room and delicious bagels for breakfast in the morning.
Close to hikes from Tioga Road and Tuolumne Meadows but a little further if you want to go to Yosemite Village (about 2 and a half hours).
The overall experience of this motel was ok. Until after returning home I noticed that they charged my credit card for additional 150 USD. After several e-mails to the motel, I received no response. Finally I seeked help from booking.com. They replied that they have one duvet missing. What a ridiculuous accusation! I was travelling with my family for 2 weeks, staying in different places every day and we would steal a duvet?? There was no duvet on the couch in the first place and either the houskeeper made a mistake or they are trying to make up for the missed stock by robbing people from overseas, who have no way to sue the motel afterwards, having left the country already. Please don't stay here! There are plenty of nicer places in Mammoth Lakes!
