paolo the receptionist made us very welcome.just one night on road to Yosemite, really a winter ski resort.town pretty quiet mid September.
Beautiful setting, excellent facilities (bathroom had a heater/fan to dry all your clothes), plenty of space in the room and delicious bagels for breakfast in the morning.
Close to hikes from Tioga Road and Tuolumne Meadows but a little further if you want to go to Yosemite Village (about 2 and a half hours).
A fan rather then AC
It's good value for money. The room was quite good and the location excellent.
Breakfast was pretty poor and disappointing
The location near the centre and Yosemite east entrance, parking space
The breakfast was late because a bear got into the breakfast room. When breakfast was ready the room was too small.
I like the smallness and quietness of the motel, staff is very friendly
No air conditioning apart from a couple fans was a little disappointing and made for hot night, other than that recommended
Staff were very friendly and helpful
No tea making facilities
Everything, staff were great and very helpful.
Bed, woke up back hurting.
location and value good!
room was not cleaned when we were told it would be.
Close proximity to town. Town has a lovley vibe with lots of bars and restaurants
Only fans in room No tea/ coffee facilities in room
I had a cabin in the front. I was concerned about the noise from the street, but the hotel is down a steep driveway which insulates it from the noise above. It was very clean and comfortable and stocked nicely. My room had a full kitchen with a small table with seating for 2. The bed was king size and the couch was large and made out into another bed. I had a very good nights sleep. There were 4 windows (not counting the bathroom) that provided lots of nice natural sunlight. I loved my stay here. If I'm ever back in the area I will probably try here first.
It did not have a bathtub, but that was ok with me, this time. It might be important for families with children, but it's not a deal breaker for me.
Hot Tub Hotel location Quiet
Room got hot at night No new or extra towels
The value was good The room was clean The Surroundings were quiet The kitchen area was clean The bathroom was clean
The bears coming to the trash cans in the middle of the night to the second floor balcony
Forest near the window, good air.
Great location Low Price Perfect motel for people looking to save money and be close to The Village.
Our friends were staying at The Westin. That place is nice. However, my total bill was $330.00 for 2 nights. Their bill was $500.00. The choice is up to you....
Great room, location is near city and attractions, has a jacuzzi
The location was decent. The room was clean and spacious.
The room is ridiculously hot. The rooms have no air conditioning. It was 49°F outside, we slept with THREE fans on, and we were still hot. Opening the window is not really an option because of all the insects flying in. Of the three people we met at the front desk during our stay, two were rude and didn't care one bit about the guests. The breakfast was just bagels, yogurt, coffee, and orange juice. Keep those things in mind!
Great location. Short distance to several restaurants and pubs.
The location was convenient to most of Mammoth Lakes' businesses and the room size and amenites were fine.
There was no a/c and although the ceiling and desk fans helped a bit, the room was stuffy and took quite some time to cool down. It was a restless sleep. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The complimentary breakfast was basic but had at least yogurt, bagels and coffee. All in all not bad for the price, but the lack of a/c is a huge minus as far as I'm concerned.
The hotel is clean and fair for the price.
I reserved 2 big beds and got just one and a sofa bed. They charged my credit card with the value before the correct time.
Poor confort in general. The room type was wrong. Tap did not work... Breakfast very basic and breakfast room too small.
the cleaness, location, quite
The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors come and go
