They called me while is was in the parking lot. Right before i was to check in. They said sorry we over booked your room and we dont have a room for you. Bad review
Compared to Greenville and some other Holiday Inns, Athens has a no-plastic breakfast; i.e. proper plates, cutlery, etc.
Great value for the room and the comfort of the room / bed / total experience was wonderful!
The staff is exceptionally friendly, cheerful, helpful and accommodating. All of them were very pleasant. We had a terrible first night due to noisy heater, too soft bed and people across the hall partying loudly all night while staying in the North Tower. We finally complained at 3am and the staff took care of it. Requested a different room the following night and staff made sure everything was taken care of, gave us a discount, free breakfast and apologized for the inconvenience, turning a bad stay into a good stay. Executive Tower is much nicer than North Tower. And did I mention that the staff are all just so pleasant to interact with?
Noisy patrons across the hall - college town. Staff should know better than to put college kids in the same area of the building as business travelers, older couples and/or families with children North Tower rooms were average - clean but, bed was too soft, pillows too hard and excessive water leaked on floor when showering.
The room was clean and neat
took an hour to get checked in after already being assigned a room that already had another couple inside. Walked in on them.
Non smoking rooms only. I mean people who smoke now have to go to the Moon
The staff, once I found them, were very helpful and courteous, though they didn't seem to know exactly the logistics of the construction. Everything else was great, and I would certainly stay there next time I go to Athens, but I doubt that the good price I got will be available when the construction is finished.
First I couldn't find where to park or the temporary check-in. By then I had no time to see my room before going to an event. Someone pointed me the wrong way (blocked) to the Hull St. exit. When I came back late at night, the Lumpkin St. entrance was closed. Someone showed me to my room. Next morning I got out on LL into construction. (A note on the elevator panel indicating restaurant and check-in would be so helpful!) A man took me back up in the elevator to ! and showed me the restaurant.
The courtesy of staff made me feel at home and the breakfast was good.
There was only one in house restaurant to eat at.
I like the friendliness of the staff. The complimentary breakfast was great. I've stayed there before and it is always clean, comfortable and inviting.
I did not dislike anything about the Holiday Inn itself I wasn't happy about losing to Georgia Tech
Location to stanford stadium
The staff was great did all the little extra touches to make your stay special We give them a Dawgs up
Location to Sanford stadium. Gated parking with security. Staff was extremely nice. The whole fame day experience was awesome. I will recommend friends stay there for game day.
Room wasnt worth 215.00 a night. I hate price gouging!
The first night I got to my room I noticed some street noise (poorly caulked window) but figured I could deal with the sound of cars driving by. In the morning, I was awakened at about 5:45 by the beeping of a truck backing up. I figured it was garbage pick up and would be over soon. It went on until I left my room at 8:00 (construction across the street). When I got back in the evening, Rhonda was at the front desk and I requested a room change. She didn't bat an eye, apologized for the noise and found me a nice quiet room for my second night. I appreciated that my request was not treated as a burden. She also followed up shortly after I moved in to the second room to make sure everything was OK. Thanks Rhonda!
Parking was sparse when I got back on my second night as there was a conference going on. I barely got a spot because someone was leaving as I arrived.
The feeling of being away but everything was near and Convenient
That I left...wish I could of stayed longer
Everything was wonderful

Mold on shower ceiling. 3rd floor hallway hot and stuffy. Breakfast not included. Pricey.
location, quality of rooms
Breakfast bar was good, but not what it was advertised to be. I was not offered waffles, pancakes, or french toast.
Convient location to UGA.
Parking was terrible. Pool closed to early to be enjoyed.
