No accommodation as booked 4 of us had to stay in a closet room firstime night. The restaurants people were great.
Close to our activities.
Cable went out.
I requested maintenance for our refrigerator 3 times because it was not getting cold. I was told each time that someone would come check it out. Needless to say no one did. I eventually figured out the problem on my own when my son attempted to use the microwave and it was not working either. As I checked to see if it was plugged in I noticed that the power strip that both appliances were plugged into had been switched off. Once I turned the power back on we were able to have hot food and cold drinks to go with it.
The staff was VERY friendly and helpful.
Didn't have the type of room that I booked. One person had to sleep on floor.
Location was great.
When booking the hotel I was told free parking; however when checking in I was told it didn't apply, unless I had the aquarium package. The valet was $20 per day; there was a volleyball competition so there was no other parking available. I spent $40 for parking! Housekeeping missed cleaning our room, we had to beg for towels, tort paper, and adtl trash bags. The room was dirty maybe because it was a smoking room- (requested non smoking) Based on this stay I don't plan on going back ever.
The breakfast was great! However, I got interrogated about the age of my 12 yr old daughter the 1st morning by the server. She stated that because of this weekend the age restriction of 12 and under eat free don't apply, unless I had an aquarium package.. The 2nd morning, not.a.single.issue. I'm confused? Is there a guideline or not?
Older hotel that has had some cosmetic updates but bathroom was dingy and worn. Pool was emptied and closed. Double room was really 2 double beds, not Queen size. Only 2 elevators which were slow.
Reception was friendly and helpful. Valets were accommodating. Breakfast was good and varied.
made a reservation 2 weeks prior.. Arrived late with 2 children who were competing in sporting event the next morning only to be told that I did not have a room..WOW..staff just looked at me and offered no other help or explanation
Everyone that works here was completely amazing!! It was my child's 10th birthday and the staff went over and beyond for her first trip to Atlanta. Gigi was the most amazing front desk person ever!!
They worked with us to arrange early check in. Everyone was very nice and pleasant. The location across for the park was excellent.
The parking cost for two nights was $70 too much for my liking
Within walking distance of everything!!
The location was great! One block from the America's Mart buildings and right on centennial park. It's maybe a 5 min walk to the aquarium and the Coca-Cola experience! Also the hotel doesn't not have a continental breakfast but there is the cleanest Waffle House I've ever eaten at right next door.
The beds are TOO small to be comfortable for 2 adults. The room in the picture was really nice but the actual was not as nice. You think you're paying for the room pictured but you're not.
There were things to do and see very close to the hotel.
How they charged me for 2 nights when I only stayed one.
The hotel was in a very convenient spot, walking distance for multiple places such as restaurants, bars, the train, and the mall. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Well worth the money I would definitely stay here again!
Still pretty expensive for a visible aging hotel.
Right near everything worth doing.
Shower water ram all night - leaky faucet - old needs updating. Midnight- people still in halls partying too noisy- they tried to cram too much furniture in 1 small room .
Location and breakfast
Location to GWCC.
The staff wasn't friendly, no luggage carts, dirty bedspreads and small room.
Close to where we wanted to be.
location and the food
I like the hotel. it was a great location and the stuff was wonderful. i would love to stay there again.
Everyone of their staff greeted us with a good morning or how's your day or hello. It was amazing to see staff who enjoys their job.
The valet guy seemed to be a little rude the first night. But the second day after I tipped him he seemed to be a bit more pleasant.
I arrived late and staff that worked check in that night were very helpful and accomodating. Hotel staff seemed to be great professionals. Great hotel for the value.
The rooms are way to small. There was a leak in the shower. We ask for 3 extra sets of towels and only got one set and couldn't get anymore. Some of the staff were rude because they were "ready to go!". Marijuana smoke all up and down the hall. Morning valet did not know where night valet parked the cars so we had to wait about an hour. Not worth the money. Never again!!
The convenice of downtown.
