Restaurant service was horrible
Restaurant waitress was horrible
Handy for exploring nearby shopping, restaurants and the Mass MoCA (walking distance). Good dinner and breakfast. Small but pleasant basement swimming pool.
Very noisy heater/air-conditioner
Close to Williams College. The restaurant was excellent.
Room service not available after 10 p.m.
The staff was very friendly and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. Our view was good (the Berkshires). Easy checking in and out. Love having a microwave, coffeepot and fridge in the room.
Bathroom needs a few fixes. Squeaky toilet, crack in the shower plaster and more lighting. Small things really because everything was so clean I barely noticed.
Slap bang in the middle of town with very helpful staff and usual large room and beds. First time this holiday we received waitress service at breakfast but think it wasn't normally included in room price
Breakfast food was quite nice. Room was ok.
Staff at breakfast. Table clearer had his iPod plugged into his ears and looked very unprofessional.
Just what the doctor ordered. Good location at a great price. Not luxurious but clean and comfortable with plenty of room. Staff was accomodating and nice to have a restaurant in the hotel for late arrivals.
The restaurant had the best breakfast we'd had.
Noise all night. Motorcycles, trucks, you name it. It's located in the middle of downtown. No escaping the traffic.
The location was excellent and and the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable, answering all our questions well. The room was very comfortable and we loved our view of the main thoroughfare and colorful mountains from room 601. Bed and linens were extremely comfortable!
A moment after we came upstairs after breakfast and were gathering our belongings and getting ready to leave a woman who I think told my friend that she was the housekeeping supervisor knocked on the door and came into the room. I was in the bathroom and my friend allowed her to come in, thinking I wouldn't mind. I have no idea what she was doing but I don;t believe she was actually cleaning staff and it made me very uncomfortable to come out of the bathroom and find an older woman checking out the clothes hangers right outside my bathroom door! What possible business could she have had in the room that she asked if she could come in before we had vacated the room- at 9:30 AM, an hour and a half before checkout? I am still feeling uncomfortable about this more than 24 hours later. Is it possible that this person goes into the guest rooms ahead of the cleaning staff and scoops up the tips meant for the maids who actually do the work of cleaning the rooms? I hope not.
Ok for a few days just dropping off college student. Location and ease of access to college great. Guest services werequires friendly and efficient.
Room had a smell couldn't quite describe it, kind of moldy I guess. Then not enough parking for all the guest. It was a challenge if you came in late.
Great location, clean rooms
The staff was mostly indifferent and not especially helpful. I never felt welcome.
Room size was good.
Floor needed sweeping between days. Nobody swept it. Did not get her name, but the person checking us in was not very friendly. Maybe end of her shift and she was tired? Other staff were friendly.
Employees were very attentive and helpful
Nearby galleries are world class Some funky new restaurants in town Spa and pool were excellent Pillows and sheets were high quality and appreciated
Neighbours doors slam shut and rattles your entire room, including the pictures on the wall over your head while in bed trying to sleep. Extremely annoying and makes it hard to sleep if it goes on all night. (Which it did for us)
I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonably priced breakfast and generous portions.
Location 2-3 blocks from MassMoca.
Power went out in NW Mass and I had to check out early cutting trip short.
The TV set was coy, not immediately accessible, even for a techie like my spouse. I was not aware that there was a chef on site, or that breakfast might be an option. ?
location, friendly staff
room smelled musty, breakfast could be better(took too long, out of some foods, food was not that great), air conditioner didn't seem to work well
Excellent amenities onsite: pool, whirlpool, sauna, good restaurant w/room service, free parking. Great price & capacity esp. for a holiday weekend. Nicely updated decor esp. the ottoman & chair in the room. Perfect location!
Would be nice to have windows that open a little bit for fresh air, in such a beautiful locale
Staff very very helpful, friendly, and warm.
Elevator a bit loud--we were in a "10." However, that was minor compared to rest of our experience.
-staff cleaned room but did not vacuum carpet -room stenched of beer -bathrooms are old (mold) -staff not very professional
The location is great. ....in the heart of North Adams.....scenery is truly beautiful. ...and the old architecture....bring your camera! !!!!!
No complaints! !!!!
The pool area was one of the best we've seen in a budget hotel. Hot tub, sauna, relatively large pool. The view of the Berkshires from our room window was also phenomenal.
