Dated decor and furnishings need replacing. For what they charge, they should provide furniture and fixtures from this century.

The staff was very helpful and the location perfect for walking around this particular Brookline neighborhood. we were able to see and do a lot because the convenient location.
Some of the decor seemed dated and motel-like on the atrium side.
The room and bathroom were clean. The location was good.
The mattresses were not great for those with back problems. The AC was very noisy. The front desk staff were polite but uniformed. They seemed unconcerned. The garage parking ticket process was NOT explained well at all. The charge was automatically added to my charge card without my knowledge. I had to walk back to the front desk to ask how to get out of the garage.
Location is great. Not far from a portion of BU's campus, as well as Kenmore Square. Nice area to walk around. Fitness center was open 24hours which is always nice.
My ac stopped working in the evening and when I called the front desk they insisted it just "takes a while to switch on". They refused to come check it since they were positive that was the case. So, I went to bed. At 2:30am I woke up extremely uncomfortable because, low and behold, the ac did not kick on. I tried to figure out the issue since I could feel the eye-rolling through the phone when I'd called the front desk before and did not feel like going through that again. Finally, I gave up and tried a second time. The gentleman I spoke with the second time was much better and came right to the room to see the issue. All he had to do was reset the system. Would have been great had that happened prior to bed so I could actually sleep, but I suppose it was too difficult to walk down the hallway and help a silly guest. Final complaint- they offer a car service from the hotel that I took both my last visit and this visit. #1- they insist it is cheaper than a cab, but this is just a flat out lie. A cab to South Station is $17, the car cost $30. In addition, quite strangely both times the car's credit card machine mysetriously is "broken" once we get to the train station. Not happy. I will be honest, this was my second time staying here and I enjoyed it very much during my first stay, but I will seriously reconsider staying a third time.
Breakfast was excellent if a but pricy. close to my meetings in Brookline. parking convenient.
got a roon on the 6th floor. AC was noisy, really terrible. only one elevator to service all floors. long wait. room service fair, not more. good for buisness, would never take this hotel for lesuire.
Read so many comments about noise by the pool. We noticed nothing. Very quiet, comfortable and convenient to Fenway Park. Enjoyed our stay.
The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is very good. Customs can have coffee in the lobby and the assistant is very friendly and helpful.
I liked that it was a short work to some of my favorite coffe shops...and also gives you easy access to go places
No body picked my calls or returned them while I was there,very noisy at the court yard.
The front desk staff were not always attentive and helpful. Both operator and front desk phones were not answered.

The staff was wonderful and the location was perfect. Less than a mile from Fenway.
Very difficult to get the room temp to adjust properly...either too hot or too cold. The decor / quality of the room did not match the price I paid. I paid $591 for 2 nights stay which included the parking fee. I should have paid half that amount. This is no Marriott or Hilton and I thought for the price this would be an upscale Holiday Inn...its not. My mistake for thinking there might be. Money would have been better spent somewhere else.
Room is rather compact & hardly much space for the Standard Room.
Close to the light train, staff really helped identify the sight seeing places to go and explain how the transit system worked.

We have stayed there in the past, and the facilities are top notch. The location on the T line is perfect for sightseeing, too.
For the price, I would have thought breakfasts were included in the cost, but they were not.
Plastic plants needed cleaning. A cloud if dust comes off if you touch them. It also smells like chlorine from the indoor pool.
No outside window

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful check-in person who (barely) was able to get us a larger room when we had a last minute addition to our party, modern, very close to tram stop.
Rooms were very small for a hotel of this category. Layout was strange, our two rooms were on different floors and different sides of the building. Although they were physically not far from each other, getting from one to the other was not very easy. First 2 floors (where we stayed) looked out on interior court where the dining area was. Thus one gets a lot of noise from the dining area during breakfast and dinner.
