Holiday Inn Charlotte-Center City    

I loved the staff, and my room. It was a very nice place. Gorgeous city walking available from there.

Very expensive, I didn't get the group rate for my group.

Staff was helpful. Restaurant was high quality.

Badly needs renovation: shower curtain rod in room 310 was barely attached to shower tile. Heat/AC system was so noisy I had trouble relaxing.

Breakfast reasonable.

Checked in around 4. Went to leave parking lot at 2. I had to pay a second $16 fee to get out of parking deck. Probably will keep me from going again. Anyway you can get me $16 refund?

Location was unbelievable to go to the Time Warner center. Lots of restaurants around. Great staff except the lady I mentioned in what I didn't like section. Thank you for the coffee maker in the room. I would definitely stay there again when I go to the acn convention

If the beds could be queen instead of double it would be much more comfortable. And the lady who seemed to manage or was the hostage of the restaurant was gruff on both occasions we interacted with her. Finally, we went somewhere else to eat. I don't know her name but she was was short, a little overweight and always wore patterned tops. Maybe in her 40s...kind of reddish hair to her shoulders. Worked the evening of February 15 and 16.

Convenient to downtown, very good front desk personnel.

A lot of condensation in the room - water was beading on the window (not a big deal) and puddling on the window sills and air-heat unit (much bigger deal).

Loved the location. Enjoyed being so close to all the happenings in uptown.

Had a very unpleasant experience with the parking lot attendant. We took our parking stub in to the hotel to be validated and they didn't do it and gave it back. The next day we checked out and tried to get out of the parking deck and the machine tried to charge us for parking again after we had paid Holiday Inn. The parking attendant was very very rude to us. We had to park and go back to the hotel to get them to validate the ticket to be able to leave. All in all it was a nice visit but that did leave a blemish on the stay.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean.

Bed was not especially comfortable. Stayed on 4th floor and could hear people in the street partying late.

Hot tub out of order. No breakfast. Charged for parking. Room not that great for money spent.

It was conveniently located to the epicentre. Everything was within walking distance. Check in and check out procedures were simple.

The drains were clogged and so taking a shower you stood in dirty water, same with the sink. Our ac was also broken so it was hard to sleep at night because it would go back and forth from quiet to obnoxiously loud humming. Also, expect to pay more than what you booked as taxes are high in the city and you are required to pay an extra fee for parking. The holiday inn also places a $100 dollar hold on your account in case of any room damages which may limit your expected spending if you are on a budget. My husband and I had set aside $500 for a two day trip just as a small vacation but $100 of that was already taken just as a holding fee.

the location is great for many attractions of the charlotte area.

there was no pamplets available to see what attractions were close to the hotel. parking was very overpriced.

The gentleman at the elevator gave us a heads up on a special they were doin with surroundin businesses. Jj at the front desk gave us some free passes to clubs which saved us a lot of money taking our friends out for her bachlorette party. The employees were encrediably helpful to us.and the pillows are so comfortable. I forgot to ask them at checkout what kind they were because I would like to order me one. I never slept better

The location is great to "taste" Charlotte. Simply in the heart of the city.

Manager was insensitive to requests for price adjustment to match other guests costs for convention. Fire alarm apparently went off, however, on the 8th floor we did not hear any alarms. Rode elevator to main floor where we found out about the situation. I understood parking would be included with our stay, it wasn'T. Could not seem to get room supplied by housekeeping consistently. Had to go ask for wash clothes, shampoo etc. Thought I was booking directly with hotel on line and found out there was a third party booking it.

Close to Time Warner Arena

Heard a lot of door slaming early in the morning. We were on the 15th floor, but I think it was the room doors when people were getting the continental breakfast (6-8 am). We would have slept in a little long, but slamming doors was loud!

We got there around 3:30pm checked in the lobby was packed and check in line hugh. We were there for a 4:30 concert thinking we had plenty of time to get our room and catch a cab. At check in I was told no rooms are clean and we would have to wait, how long I asked they didn't no. Hauled our stuff back to parking deck parked car now its like 5:45 we go check on our keys and the desk clerk just slides me the keys and didn't say nothing. We have already missed openning acts. Never again will I stay at this Holiday Inn.. Get to our room the the maids are still there and one is talking on her cell phone. Nice

Sugest to let guests know how to obtain their breakfasts, before they eat, which was booked. Front desk needs to let guests know about the shopette! Floormat for the workout/gym area?

I didn't think it was fair that a customer who is staying on the premises is charged to park their vehicle, this shoud be a courtesy from the Holiday Inn.
