    Hidden gem tucked away at the top of the Sun Times building is convenient to most of the downtown even on foot. Great staff, great value.

    Excellent location close to many major attractions. My room was large, clean and very comfortable.

    The room was smelly (carpet?) and there was nothing to do about it, the windows did not open.

    My girlfriend and myself had a good time we really injoyed our stay valet was amazing, our veiw of the city was off the chart cant wait till out next trip a scale rate 1-100 my score rate is 100

    the location of this hotel was great..it had great views and the staff were very friendly and helpful...it is conviently located just off the beaten path, so you don't get all the hustle and bustle noise, but still convient to walk to everything. The other convient attachment to this hotel was a merchant mart, so you could go there for shopping, food of catch a train...was great for keeping costs down.

    My only complaint I have is the maid service is not the best...needs some improvement and the wait staff in the restaurant(not the bar area) are a little slow.

    The room in the "new" wing was more accommodating but still, well below the value of the cost. Staying in downtown Chicago isn't worth it when the cost far outweighs the amenities and experience. Substandard.

    Our original room was in the "old" wing of the hotel, yet it was the same price as the renovated area. The dresser was missing handles, there were stains on the wall, the shower curtain was stained, etc... When we were moved, the room looked updated, however, the AC wasn't working properly and the construction outside started around 5:00 am and you could hear every jackhammer pound!

    Our view from our room was spectacular, the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect to explore the city center. The staff was friendly, especially the concierge Russell, who's a great guy! The hotel looks very nice from the inside.

    The female server at the bar seemed very stressed and spoiled the overall good ambiance of the location for us a little bit. The front-desk has not enough employees assigned to it during certain times of the day.

    Location is amazing; staff is available to fulfill customer's requests View is stunning and does make the difference (for the rooms which have it)

    Some re-newing in interiors of rooms is recommended; (especially doors)

    Do not come here if you have a car! 41$ a day to be parked in a construction zone. Car was filthy. Had to wash windows to see after only 3 days. They said 'what do you expect?' Said I could wash it and submit a claim and see if would be paid.AND did not get room we booked. They said they only give rooms available and no reimbursement for difference.

    friendly staff, and help with our planning fun things to do. Russell was great!!

    toilet was plugged up since our first nights stay, maintenance came in, snaked it then left. toilet was still plugged and husband complained 2nd day, maintenance came, snaked toilet, and also took tank lid off touched tooling inside toilet, and then flushed properly, and remained usable rest of stay.

    The Asian-Italian restaurant had excellent food and a very friendly staff. The pool was clean and the room comfortable. We had a nice North facing view out of our room.

    The multiple elevators to get to the room and the valet set up was congested and expensive.

    Location, cleanliness, service. The hotel is connected to the Mercantile center which has shops, and a food court. A nice extra.

    Room location, one floor above the lobby. we overlooked a lower roof with satellite dishes, air conditioning units, and other unsightly things. As first time visitors, I would have thought they might give us a room with a nicer view. The restaurant was pricey as were their breakfast buffet. I would recommend visitors eat elsewhere.

    That there was not a refrigerator in the room, have to pay for it. That valet parking looks like it goes down on a construction site

    Location is good, and the room is comfortable.

    Some staff should need the training how to give services to guest. When I checked in. The front desk did not give me a room which has a good city view outside the window (when I booked the room, I required the king room with good city view). After I asked for change. She did not tell me the wifi account and password. And then she also forgot to tell me that the hotel would deducted 50 dollars as room insurance. Trouble made from the staff service wasted my time!

    Mimi mall made it easy to get less expensive but excellent food. Great location and catching the L to go anywhere was so easy!

    It rained and satellite and WiFi kept going out while trying to work.

    Central in City and able to get around easily Concierge very helpful and knowledgeable.

    Layout of bedrooms. If no head for heights getting to bedroom an issue if room high up and have to walk around open corridor Shower facilties at pool very poor Unable to get taxi as doormen more interested in looking after valet customers.Had to walk to station having waited for 1/2 hour so as not to miss transport leaving time

    Loved the location and the decor and cleanliness of the rooms!!

    The price was a bit much with no breakfast and an additional cost for valet parking.

    WE LIKED THE LOCATION TO THE CITY TRANSPORTATION. WE HAD NO IDEA THAT DRIVING DURING THE WEEK WAS NERVE RACKING AND DIFFICULT.

    I DIDNT LIKE THE COST OF PARKING THE CAR AT THE HOTEL. BUT I UNDERSTAND THE REASON BEHIND IT.
