Location was good, updated room, good view of the city
Place was great. In a nice area great views and friendly staff
Water pressure in our room was awful
The location good for me and the bed was comfortable and the loppy is good also the food awesome and they have nice views
The room so small ! I was booking king room but they give me small!!? Also the they are some nosy in next room I didn't sleep good that night
The Parking has improved.
Parking cost is expensive.
A Big Step into a bath for the shower Should have more moderate ie walk in shower Water pressure not great
Nice location for the River Area and has a nice view from the bar/lounge on the 15th floor.
The room was quite dated and significantly smaller than most hotel rooms. The room had window with a view of concrete wall 6' outside the window. The room was directly next door to the staffs cleaning area and it is easy to hear the staff come and go all night long. Definitely stay somewhere else next time in Chicago.
Only one night - would like to go back
Great location Friendly staff Modern rooms
Dining/food options are not great (including breakfast), instead find options outside of the hotel
It was affordable but still close enough to downtown sights. Great, upscale atmosphere with friendly staff. Comfortable room.
The Wi - Fi and overall cell service in the hotel was terrible.
Close proximity to our weekend event
I liked that there was a CTA station attached, and coffee shops.
Nothing was open in Mechandise Mart on the weekends.
Room service and house keeping and front desk
I like the pool and the city view.
The room wasn't vacuumed,I found a pair of socks and a earring under the table. The toilet was duty when we arrived,so I called the housekeeping, they came to clean it,but it still duty. The room was very small. No microwave or fridge. The parking was very expensive, the valet take a lot of time to bring your car back due to the small road was very crowded. Don't go there if you have a car.
The view was amazing. The staff was always friendly. Always offered to clean our rooms and asked if we needed fresh towel.
It is difficult to get to. You must go up an elevator to get to hotel. We didn't want to use valet parking so we had to lug our suitcases all around Chicago with us at $35 a night. Things that can be fixed is having a frig in the room and maybe a microwave. We would go out and get some food and have no where to put any leftovers.
Clean room and hotel. The pool was warm. The hotel staff and concierge was friendly, and the valet personnel were great!
No fridge in the room. The vending machine only took 1 dollar bills. I was lucky to get change for my 5 from a pizza delivery guy in the hallway. Would have liked to be able to get my kids something small to eat at the restaurant, but it wasn't open until 5pm. I'm glad that Subway was nearby.
The staff was very informational
Location was excellent Staff helpful Very clean bathroom
The day we arrived found the mattress pads dirty.Called front desk and was made to wait. It was late when they came to change it but they came. Tv watching was boring. Not many channels available No bar fridge (extra$25/day)
Hidden gem tucked away at the top of the Sun Times building is convenient to most of the downtown even on foot. Great staff, great value.
Excellent location close to many major attractions. My room was large, clean and very comfortable.
The room was smelly (carpet?) and there was nothing to do about it, the windows did not open.
My girlfriend and myself had a good time we really injoyed our stay valet was amazing, our veiw of the city was off the chart cant wait till out next trip a scale rate 1-100 my score rate is 100
directly at Chicago River, access to the Metro ("L" Train) through the next building within 5 minutes indoor walk
the rooms facing to the inside of the hotel have a boring view, the outside facing can see the skyline of Chicago
the location of this hotel was great..it had great views and the staff were very friendly and helpful...it is conviently located just off the beaten path, so you don't get all the hustle and bustle noise, but still convient to walk to everything. The other convient attachment to this hotel was a merchant mart, so you could go there for shopping, food of catch a train...was great for keeping costs down.
My only complaint I have is the maid service is not the best...needs some improvement and the wait staff in the restaurant(not the bar area) are a little slow.
The room in the "new" wing was more accommodating but still, well below the value of the cost. Staying in downtown Chicago isn't worth it when the cost far outweighs the amenities and experience. Substandard.
Our original room was in the "old" wing of the hotel, yet it was the same price as the renovated area. The dresser was missing handles, there were stains on the wall, the shower curtain was stained, etc... When we were moved, the room looked updated, however, the AC wasn't working properly and the construction outside started around 5:00 am and you could hear every jackhammer pound!
