Smelly room , mattress springs to sleep on
The resort was in a great location, 10 minutes from Disney and 20 from Universal. And the pools are awesome. The bars near the pool are also great, and drinks are reasonably priced. The beds are very comfortable.
The resort fees don't cover anything, you still have to pay for anything and everything you want to do at the resort. You don't even get daily housekeeping, if you want it you have to pay extra. The pans they provide aren't even non-stick. If you use all the toilet paper and paper towels they provide, you have to buy more. You can hear everything in the hallway, when other rooms open their doors, it sounds like it's your closet door and can get kind of creepy at night. There was also a huge gap under our door and we had to place a towel there at night when we slept to keep the hallway light out. As soon as you check in you are put into a sales pitch, you get all this great free stuff if you sit through a 90 minute presentation, and then they are rude to you when you don't want to do it. The front desk also didn't set up our room key so we could use it as a credit card, and then no one on staff could tell me accurate information about how to get it fixed. It is a cashless resort, so you have to use a credit card for everything. Overall the pools were great, but everything else was below par for a place calling themselves a "resort".
The place was beautiful, clean, secure and full of amenities. The pools were gorgeous. Next time I go I will definitely take my grandchildren who will love it. Rooms were beautiful and beds were so comfortable.
friendly staff choice of activities pools and lazy river
feeling the pressure to attend a presentation too many phone calls to tell us about the activities
The hotel is normal... Nothing special.
The hotel is old, the carpet and the rooms are too old... To use the swimming's pool must to pay to use. I think that the Hotel is good but it is too far to take a breakfast
Everything closed too early, it's hard to have fun on vacation when everything closes at 10.
This place has everything. No need to leave. I just wish we could have stayed longer.
Accommodation. Golf course, Legends Pool area. Parking Staff
Small golf course
Nice big room and bath!
Very bad matrass. I couldn't stay in bed for too long. No cash only credit cards were allowed on the whole resort. Everything seemed to be overpriced for me
Inexpensive and good facilities
Pillows were terrible and don't like additional charges to use water slide or rent inner tubes for lazy river Pushy sales staff promising discounts and cheap tickets if you spend two hours being "sold to" - no thanks
We could have lived here with the amount of space we had...It could have slept 11.
The resort was very large. You will need your car to get to some of the amenities.
We liked the lazy river and the hippo was really fun. The full kitchen came in handy and our room was in river island so we didn't have to drive anywhere if we didn't want to. We are at breezes which the kids loved because their meal came in a sand bucket. They also played putt putt, which kids 5 years or younger are free; older kids cost 10.60. Didn't care for the timeshare presentation to much since the man talked more about his personal life than trying to sell, which took most of the time.
That's it's a cashless resort. That it's not all Inclusive and you have to pay for every little thing down to the tubes to ride the lazy river. One of the burners on the stove in my unit didn't work, which was sad because it only had 2 burners. Old tube tv in the master bedroom, stand up shower ( no bath tube) in the 1br villa which made it a little hard for my 5 year old since she never alawys takes baths. 2 big roaches we in the room. There's a few for everything so bring some money. Mostly meant for older people that vacation for weeks at a time. Wouldn't recommend it for younger couples with kids unless you have a lot of money to let TE kids enjoy everything besides the free pools.
the resort is one of the best I've stayed at.
Wonderful place to stay. The two bedroom villa that we stayed in was in River Island (waterpark villa) it was clean, up to date, and nicely decorated. There is a dishwasher, washer and dryer all of which came with a supply of detergents. It would have only been necessary to buy more if we had stayed longer. The staff that we dealt with were all very friendly. Our experience was very positive although I would like to note that we stayed during the off season so they were not at full capacity.
While there are many amenities to choose from they are overpriced even for Orlando/ Kissimmee. You pay a higher rate to stay at the waterpark portion of the resort yet are still charged for tube rentals and for the inflatable waterslides.
The game room and kid room was our favorite...the kitchen was nice to have in the room. Especially with kids
Service there all together. I was taking my kids to Disney's not so scary and the only thing we asked them for was just a small extended check out because we got in so late and the kids were tired. One lady said she couldn't grant it because of construction. This was at 2am when we got back to the hotel. That would have been fine and understandable. But then we called in the morning and tried again to ask. Then the next excuse was someone's already waiting on room. Then we leave and my daughter left her mermaid we called to see if she left it at 8 pm at night... The lady said we haven't cleaned that room yet. When I thought someone was waiting on the room. They said they were going to go look and call us right back. But they never called back. So we called in the morning and they said they haven't been in there it may take a couple days. Why would you not let someone stay just an hour over your check out time. Which is a crazy check out time ,10 am isn't family friendly. It basically says okay you slept now get out. It was ridiculous..my daughter may never get her little mermaid back. Such lousy service..and very unaccomadating ..I won't be going back.
Location, family and kids activities, accomodation facilities, friendly and helpfull staff, lazy river.
The rooms are very nice.
Everything where I was at closed at 10pm which is really early.
Free excellent parking and reasonably low $9 resort fee.
The extra resort fee even for a short overnight stay.
That I had to leave.
the price, the pool, the villa, Close to the parks
the carpet, that they called all time and wanted to book a round tour of 1 and a half hour. And to sell all activities
My stay there was brief, but it seemed like a fairytale and time just stopped so it was almost like Forever Land. Everyone was very hospitable and it 5was definitely a wonderful place to and such a change having come from Bronx, NY, so a change in sceneries for me was exactly what I needed.
I'm sure there was very little things that I didnt like. Now that I'm thinking about it.
the pools, the giant water slide, the lazy river, the atmosphere, the room. was a great resort except for what I wrote negative.
room needed maint. black gunky stain on carpet, dining chairs torn. house keeping sucked! they left hairs in bathroom the left a giant beer stain on counter that reeked (no idea how they missed that one) sales kept leaving messages on our phone trying to get us to buy it became super annoying! there is a point where one should realize that they are now pushing people away.
I found a dead cockroach in the bathroom cabinet. There was dirty sheets in the sofa bed
How spacious and clean the rooms were
That every activity and the main pool is so far from one another. Don't like that you have to get in your car to do anything. Not comfortable.
