Pool floor is stained and looks dirty. Rooms need updating
Everything about the room. Beds were worn out not blankets just a sheet. Carpet was torn and filthy. Bathroom shower at best had 3 streams of water coming out. The door would not close and lock due to be split in to and jam being bent up from a break in.
Beach was nice
Construction going on , room was outdated , TV didn't work the entire time . Room felt dirty
The kids pool
room was cramped /crowed with 4 adults, we needed a ground floor for one person-wheelchair access, and the hotel didn't have elevator access to higher levels. there wasn't enough towels for 4 people in a room, can't imagine if we had used them for swimming... the beds were small and uncomfortable.. we asked for a smoke free room, it stunk like stale smoke, and we asked for more towels/pillows but were told "that was all we get" .. front desk staff were hectically busy, not really helpful with taxi's (said called, but no taxi ever arrived) checkin/out was an overly lenghtly processes for people who had reservations and prepaid rooms. no hotel shuttle also is very unhelpful not that you could get to the front desk to ask about local sites, maps or anything of interactive value. the onsite store/boutique definitely knew you were forced to pay thru the nose at their prices or go without... very over priced...
after a travel day from hell, long delays and terrible airport food, the grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich suggested by the grill staff was AMAZINGly outstanding.. the Rum bucket also hit the spot... both were the best part of this stay.. access to beach is nice too.. if you have time to use it.
construction and overall cleanliness on the grounds wasn't so good. Food on the ground for 3 days that wasn't ever picked up. Ice machine in back didn't work. Blood stains on the sheets. Very ran down. I stayed at Motel 6 a couple months back for a marathon and it was way nicer for half the cost.
Close to the beach.
I did not feel safe. Portions of the hotel looked to be very unstable. The room did not at all reassemble a resort style of living. This hotel needs Gordon Ramsey to come fix it.
The staff was pleasant.
This time we had BAD LUCK and POOR SERVICE...broken tv, air unit, had to call wifi company to get hooked up, asked for chairs and never got them...the Maintainence man did a great job fixing things considering! Manager said she would get us chairs and vouchers for s'mores for our troubles and we got neither. In the past, it was a fairly quiet fun spot to hang out, but the pool felt like a Walmart on steroids shopping spree with screaming children, yelling mamas and chain smoking papas. There was some interesting action in the room next to us with several women staying in the room and men coming and going al night long. We LOVE THIS SPOT!!! It was so hard to feel frustrated this year. We believe in bad luck and second chances...we would never say don't go there...but we would say...be aware of how it could go down and be ready to be flexible!!!
We love the location and the Cocoa Beach community! We've road tripped down and stayed here 3 different years. Love the tiki art and new fire pits!
The Facilities and Rooms are very dated and worn.
The layout of the grounds and campus is interesting and I enjoyed the Bar by the beach, as well as, the live band that was playing that day.
Room hadnt been updated for some time and was tatty. Air con noisy. Door looked as though it had been prised open a few times. Paint pealing off walls in some places. Work going on outside. Had the feeling there may have been more up to date rooms.
Location and close to beach
No microwave or fridge in the room
One of the beds was very bouncy maybe even broken, our room was right behind a large square block so we could not see anything outside. there was construction in the morning and night right outside our room. The room was not to bad however the amenities seemed to be nicer than the rooms.
We didn't have a beachfront room but it was very easy to access the beach from the room. The amenities were nice.
The room was old - dumpy - and I expected more for the price that I paid. I could have stayed in a different hotel for 1/2 the price in the same condition. A total 360 compared to where we stayed in Daytona Beach for more than less that this place.
Close to beach
it was dirty. the stuff was rude. our tub was backed up for days and they did nothing!! uncomfortable beds. this place looks like it hasn't be updated since the 70s
The quality of this hotel is 2,5 stars. No wifi at all.
Close to the beach.
Rude staff, very dirty hotel
First room was not great, upgraded supposedly to have fridge, paint peeling, shower not draining properly, water was half way up my calves. Pictures on website are not what you get. At mumbos they were overwhelmed, watched dozens of people walk up to hostess desk only to be ignored. I guy who worked security (so he told us) actually waited on us. We actually walked to a neighbouring property in the evening for a drink, much better service. Sorry international palms, can't give you many thumbs up.
Closeness to beach
It wasn't up to par for a family with young children the pics online we're deceiving..
Dirty Bathrooms, Cigarettes Around the jacuzzy, Dirty IN general
Cleanliness of room and the cost, also the bed was very uncomfortable.
Close to the beach
The room and the price
The only nice thing was the restaurant and bar
The room was dirty, the bed looked like someone was laying on it, bathroom was still dirty and I got pink eye when I enter the room was horrible.. I would never stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone
The place was filthy dirty, carpet torn. Fleas. It was an total embarrassment.
the pump broke on the pirate pool so none of the sprinklers look. The room wasn't very clean or updated. The coffee machine was corroded.
loved the pirate pool. staff addressed any issues very quickly.
We loved everything about our trip!
We loved the location, directly on the beach with numerous amenities! Our favorite part was the kiddie pool and delicious drinks at pool bar.
rooms were not as advertised, toilet malfunctioned, tub filled up halfway during shower, reastraunt ( breakfast spot) had poor service and very slow, waited 30 mins to get service,
close to beach, pool was nice
