Score from 50 reviews Very good
The cleanliness of the room and the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was excellent.
Location. Good happy hour offers.
Disappointing! Small room. Freeway noise. (Ask for a room away from freeway and construction.) Holiday Inn Express offers better service, values, & generally better facilities.
The staff were very friendly, and there was a train station not too far from the hotel. The pillows and bed were comfatable
The hotel was expensive for what you get and for being an hour out of San Francisco. All rooms were located by the freeway or car park, so fairly noisy and difficult to sleep. Room was small and dated, and they also shoved invoice for room under our door the night before we checked out. We have stayed in a few Holiday Inns and this one was the worst
I am from Fresno and was in town for a bridal shower. I needed to book a place to stay at the last minute that was within a decent price. I didn't think twice about choosing Holiday Inn. I will most likely use holiday inn again very soon.
Upon my arrival I was greeted by a staff member at the front desk who was extremely rude to me. She was brusque and did not listen to me before speaking. She in fact, frowned at me throughout our entire exchange. She made no effort to smile and be pleasant; despite the fact that she was telling me something negative, if she had made an effort to be pleasant and at least appropriately polite, it would have made the interaction better. I understand that sometimes a staff member will have to disagree with a client, and that she was responsible for enforcing policies. However, it is also her job to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Having explained to her that I needed to get to a wedding, in which I was speaking, in 37 minutes, she did not in any way indicate that she felt sorry for having to delay me. Once everything was arranged to her satisfaction, she did not thank me, nor did she apologize for any delay in the wedding taking place.
Free wi-fi, parking, close to Bart & shopping.
No free breakfast, no fridge, no safe.
The breakfast was very good, a nice selection of fruit, breads, eggs, potatoes and an omelet station. The room was clean and comfortable.
The phone kept blinking the red lights and would not shut off. We had to unplug both phones. There was no refrigerator, even though we had requested one. There was a car show in town and the hotel was booked. The noise at 6:00 am was bad. People were yelling and slamming doors.
The breakfast that came with the room was excellent. An omelet station and a variety of other selections, fresh fruit, cereal, potatoes, bacon and sausage. The room and bed were comfortable.
The air conditioner was on all night long. It would not turn off. I was continually woken up by the noise of it turning on.
Great room. Clean and well laid out. Didn't have a chance to experience any amenities but definitely stay here again, (work trip so no fun time)
The hotel was OK, nothing great.
The property is old and tired. The front desk staff could use a bit more training in customer service.
The bed was not soft
Predictable accommodations a little pricy for a tired room.
Front office staff are incompetent. There was a small problem with my check in name, but it stumped them looking at the computer like they had never operated one before.
I had a Quiet room not facing roadway, comfy bed, flat screen TV, very clean, wall thermostat for AC, Outback restaurant 150' away, and friendly, very professional, and competent staff.
Would have liked my window to open and room size a little cramped.
I liked that it had more of a resort feel, even though it was a budget minded hotel near the highway.
The only issue I had is that I arrived late and left early and did not have time partake of the jacuzzi and spa.
Friendly and helpful staff
small dated rooms
Great staff, saved us a cab going to bart by advising us of their shuttle. Great room with excellent vending and ice machines. Pool and spa very relaxing, Restaurant staff and desk personel fantastic. Cleaning personel very friendly and helpful.Love the fridge and microwave.
If you get a queen room and one bed no fridge or microwave. Decided to stay an extra night and assigned this room.
Inn is in a very good location, making a perfect get a way weekend wthin east bay area
The staff was very friendly
No parking. Too many rooms and not enough parking spots. It was really noisey. Walls are thin. We can hear the neighbors and people walking through the hallways
Comfortable bed. Good use of space. Everything seemed clean and orderly.
Small rooms. Lights flickered periodically. No fridge/freezer. $84.
The location to the things I want to get done during the travel.
The hotel was in a Holiday mode and did not have the dinning room open for dinner.
The price. Was. Expensive and
location ,friendly staff, great food
pool was closed, beds were to firm
The room was extremely small with around 3 feet space around a king size bed. The room was not well lit but the desk light was extremely bright and it's cord was stapled, so I could not move the desk light to other places in the room. Upon my checking in they told me that they have upgraded my room free of charge, but on checking out they charged me $70 more because I wanted to upgrade the room!! Booking.com customer service took care of the extra charge but staying in Holiday Inn was a night mare for me. I am never going back to there and be very cautious with any other Holiday Inn hotels.
Nice and large room. Good facility. Close to the metro system to San Francisco.
A little bit expensive considering the distance to the S. F. city center. About 1 hr by the metro.
