The hotel was clean which is a priority. The rooms were all renovated. The bed was clean and comfy as well. No complaints really as far as the hotel. The breakfast was average - that pancake machine is kind of gross but it's pretty much what you would expect - eggs, breads, cereals, bananas, juice, etc. (It's not a embassy suites breakfast but it saved us some money). The location was ok- not great not awful. There are some restaurants in walking distance but not really close to downtown or the beach. We only stayed one night and it was good. We paid $220 which seems high for a holiday inn express but Naples is pretty expensive in general.
Breakfast room inadequate, not enough room, food could be better.
No HD tv
The staff was vet friendly and helpful. Room was clean and I felt safe
I wish they had more van service to the beach or other attractions
Peaceful time at the pool.
Rate much to expensive
Location near downtown.
Difficulty in getting in and out of hotel property.
Very comfortable roomy and modern. Nice pool area and plenty of parking
Staff not welcoming did not smile and we did not get rooms we booked. Family party in two rooms not even on the same floor. When staff we asked about this the only reply was " I tried" totally unconcerned or bothered.
The location and breakfast and no charge for parking
Webcould walk to old downtown Naples.
The room was very clean and well organized with very nice beds and a roomy bathroom.
Lists as Naples Downtown but unfortunately it is quite a haul to downtown Naples
Desk staff very friendly and accommodating.
Price for location and amenities. I've stayed at the Naples Beach Club for less. Rug was very dirty and bathtub was not cleaned before I arrived, nor during my visit. Location is not as advertised. Not a good location to walk to downtown as advertised.
The staff was accomodating and the location well suited our travels although it was not easy to exist the property
My traveling companion complained about teh softness of the bed.
Location : This hotel thrives on its location. This might be the main reason for indifference and poor hotel service. The hotel is well located but still more than a mile from the 5th avenue and several miles from the nearest beach. You don't go anywhere without a car. Parking : The hotel has a free parking, but so do all hotels outside the centre. Nothing special to provide a free parking at this out-of-town location where there's plenty of space. Rooms : Overall, all types of rooms are spacious, even the smalest ones. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom provides the basic needs; sink, bath en good shower. Amenities : The 24 hour coffee service is nice and wifi is quite good (except mornings, which is normal peak time). An ice maker is available on every floor. The rooms include a microwave but no safe. Pool & fitness : The pool looked nice from the room and we only went running at the beach. So no comment on those but we assume they are ok. As a summary, this hotel provides a nice room with a good shower. Friendly staff overall. It has free parking and a somewhat good location (prone to discussion). Other than this they show a complete disinterrest towards their guests' needs. Breakfast is poor, staff lacks professionality and house keeping is providing the minimum service or even less. This hotel needs to step up or lower its price.
Stay impressed (hotel catchphrase). My girlfiend and I stayed for 6 days at the Holiday Inn and we were impressed. But not entirely as we would like to have stayed impressed. Rooms : We booked the suite at a discount offer. Discount means 250 dollars per night. Breakfast and taxes included. So we were ready to be impressed. Our initial suite was on the ground floor, next to the parking lot and a few meters from the reception. Being the ideal location for an early wake-up, we asked to change rooms. We got a king size room poolview at the 4th floor. The room was noisy and had a light vibration. A combination of the airconditioning, bathroom vent and most probably the airconditioning engine on the roof. But an exhausting day of travel and earplugs solved the issue. Next day we switched to a standard room on the 3rd floor. Still noisy (55dB in the bathroom) but with the bathroom door shut and earplugs it was fine. Front desk: Very friendly but lacks professionality. Hotel guest are addressed like student empoyees would do. I doubt they have sufficient experience or training concerning front desk management. Evenings, you'll find the frontdesk employee(s) somewhere in the lobby sitting at a table. Sometimes you'll only find a sign "back in a few minutes". One front desk employee was even doing some paper-origami-cutting. Breakfast : Breakfast is served on plastic(!) plates and cutlery. Now that's a new experience. I vaguely remember a childhood birthday party or last minite off location bbq ... The breakfast selection is cheap, poor, limited and unhealthy. They stack donuts, pancakes, oatmeal, ... in a claustrophobic space next to the lobby with limited seating capability. Fastfood breakfast on plastic plates in the lobby. Who wouldn't pay 250 dollars per night for that? They do have bananas and apples... every single day. There's no variation the the breakfast, which is already limited.
This hotel is located not far away from the city center. Within a five minute walk away there is marina with restaurants and wonderful food. Hotel itself is a place with really good service, staff is very helpful. Rooms are big, beds comfortable.
The room, and proximity town. Also a quiet location. Bed was extremely comfortable b
Breakfast time was over too soon
The pool area was nice, large and well maintained. The coffee available at all times was great. The front desk staff were always pleasant. If you are a walker the location was not bad, if you need a walker- not great.
Understood it is an upscale area but the price seemed a bit much for its location and the closed restaurant in front of it did not add anything.
Upon arrival there was no reservation. My res. confirmation was confiscated at the desk. They managed to pad the price by more then$50 then my confirmation. The balcony was sealed shut with no furniture. Glass doors were filthy. Rug had stains everywhere. Bathroom faucet flooded the counter when turned on. There was no "sitting area". All this for a measly $500.00
it was ok
Very good hotel at a reasonable price that includes breakfast. Approximately one mile from down town Naples.
No safe in room but safekeeping available at reception in hotel lobby.
Free parking at the hotel. Good size standard room.
room modern with nice features
room did not get serviced one day, breakfast area crowded, constantly ran out of coffee, hot water, and food
I was quoted a rate of 159 from your site. When I registered I had to pay 209 the first night and 189 the second. I would never had stayed here at that price. So not worth it. Very unhappy with booking.com.
See above. Change of rates.
Everything was new and modern and clean.
Cameras everywhere, felt like something bad had occurred and therefore cameras everywhere. The only time you see cameras is where the crime rate is high but this place was nice, quiet, safe and clean. Just personal opinion.
Nice, clean facility with a pleasant and responsive staff. Good location very close to downtown 5th Ave.
Only complaint was with the pillows - way too soft and mushy for me
