Kind of scary neighborhood which is pretty far from downtown and a cold walk from the trains
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Facilities and staff were great. They also shuttle you over to the T red line for quick access in and out of downtown. Nice big mall right behind with a Target, Applebees, Panera and Olive Garden amongst others.
The bed was my favorite the selection of pillows and comfort i slept the best i did in years and the staff was very accomadating.
Shuttle to metro station was helpful during rainy days.
There was multiple pre-authorization of credit card which I understand is a known issue with Holiday Inn.
The staff and cleanliness
It is a quiet, cozy and clean hotel.
It is a very expensive season to stay in Boston. This hotel had an average rate in about 266 USD. The Holiday Inn Express was cheaper than other hotels, but the price was much higher than the hotel could really offer.
simple, clean and tidy.
Self service breakfast could be earlier as my flight was at 6am. Or at least a cup of coffee or tea. A take-away breakfast bag would be excellent.

Air con quite noisy, didn't like the disposable delph or plastic cutlery used for breakfast.
Clean, location, parking & the staff
We loved how close it was to get on the subway. Super easy to get most places in Boston with the great subway system. Free parking was great!! The breakfast was decent for the money we paid. Fresh fruit, juices, bagels, waffles, and eggs and usually bacon or sausage. We will definitely stay here again. As nice as some hotels looked right downtown, we much prefer to take the subway and use the hotel money we saved for Boston attractions.
Although they claim to have a fitness area it is safe to say that it is extremely lack lustre. You would be hard pressed to get any type of workout done here. There certainly should be some more thought put into the fitness room!
Easy access to down town and Harvard by train, free shuttle or 10minute walk to train. Iarge shopping centre next door. Great breakfast.

Room is small, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was rather poor quality and bad organized: not enough place, we have to wait and you cannot move and grab stuff easily

The facility was is well kept and what you would expect from a Holiday Inn facility.
I know I arrived early and it was my problem . . . however, the staff took the approach that it was my problem. After traveling all night, I just wanted to take a shower so I could start my day. I spoke with the first clerk who said the cleaning staff did not arrive until 9:00 and he said he would see what he could do. There was a staff change at 7:00 and when I spoke to the new clerk and she was not aware of my situation; again, reiterating that the cleaning crew did not show up until 9:00. She said, she woudl see what she could do. By 9:30, there was no room ready and I had to be somewhere at 10:00. I had to change in the restroom and grab a cab. When I returned at 1:00, there was finally a room. I felt that there was no empathy to the situaiton and honestly, nothing was being done to help. At the end, I felt that the staff felt this was really "my problem."
If you have budget, that hotel is a best choice. You can found shopping, traim, bus stop and restaurants around it.
Our experience was good. Staff was quite courteous and hotel was clean.
The location is far from the action. It was my first time in Boston. In my next visit I will try and stay closer to the harbour.
Hotel location was great. Easy to reach off of I 93 and close to the T line. Great breakfast.
The shuttle was good, and the breakfast was better than most.
They overbook. We had a two night stay, had been promised a king or two twins, and we got a tiny room with a queen bed. No attempt was made to remedy the situation for either night. When I complained, the staff was abrupt and rude.
