Breakfast is great. Staff are very helpful. Bed was good.
Elevator service is pitiful. There is only one elevator serving 9 floors.
Hotel Staff very helpful and obliging. Nearby Restaraunts - good quality food and service. Sub way very convenient for Up Town / Down Town locations. Enjoyed the Sight seeing.
Breakfast room is on the small size.Food limited and sometimes was not available. Noise from Guests? in Corridors at 4.30 / 5am not appreciated.
I liked everything...I will return even if I don't like the location...comfy beds, amiable staff, clean sheets and all
the location, there's not that many restaurants around, but there's one on the corner that's pretty decent
I found the staff very pokite and helpful. Melanie helped me tremendously and is a asset to your company.
Rooms were small for 4 people, but we werent in the room but to sleep and bathe anyway.
Single elevator only.
The manager spoke briefly with us over breakfast and responded immediately to several concerns we had with an offer of compensation through a reduction in our room charges. Holiday Inn are serious about providing service!
Across the street from a good restaurant
The eggs at breakfast
Clean, decent breakfast, attentive staff, comfy beds, good shower.
Rooms are pretty small but that's not a huge deal, a bit noisy from hallway noise but the staff addressed it.
It was a birthday gift to my niece. They enjoyed their stay.
Room was right next to the main breakfast area and Ice machine. Was very noisy and the staff was unaccommodating.
The location and the breakfast.
The price was too high for value received.
Clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay while in the city. The Union St subway stop is very close.
Friendly front desk
Other employees rude
Location was great, and the room was very clean. Complimentary breakfast was excellent!
Staff not very experienced!
Nothing in particular
The price was really excessive for the quality of this low class hotel. Besides, the hotel is located in a unpleasant area (10 minutes walk from a nice one but the street is really ugly and unpleasant)
Front desk staff was very welcoming
I enjoyed staying here with my son. I only stayed for a night and the lady at the reception helped me a lot (lady with the long braids). She told me exactly which subway we have to take to get to Harlem and downtown. A special thanks to her. The room was very clean, the location is not bad, 5th Street is so close where they have a lot of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was good too. Overall I enjoyed staying here.
The Bed, the breakfast, location, the staff,
I liked the breakfast and the staff was friendly.
The walls were paper thin and we could hear the TV and children in the room across the hall from us all night. We went to the front desk at about 3:30 am and asked them to call the room. Nothing was done, and none of us slept that night. The next night the guests must have left because it was fairly quiet that night. Very small room, and the room was very hot!
staff and breakfast
no safe in room, no exercise room, one slow elevator
Small bed hidden fees paying for parking
The staff was friendly and very helpful. I liked the location since I was attending a concert at Barclays centre.
I was on the fourth floor and it was so noisy all night. It sounded like a machine or vacuum or something going off. I had a horrible sleep both nights
Comfortable room. Good customers service.
Vending and ice machines werent on every other floor. I had to take the elevator down 7 flights to receive both. Also elevators occasionally got stuck.
I like everything about the place but what was so memorable were the staff pleasant attitude and helpfulness as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. Will return again and again.
The staff had a "can do" attitude, helping us with parking, copies and forks. Parking was available in a secure lot less than 100 yards down the street. The hotel lot filled up quickly but the front desk person was very helpful in helping us find a secure lot. The room/bathroom were large by NYC standards. There were two double beds and plenty of room to walk around each bed. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The location was great. The street was mostly auto repair places but there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
All the doors slam shut automatically. There was a large group traveling together on our floor. They moved from room to room allowing the doors to slam. The noise level was very high one night. This was not the fault of the hotel except for the poor construction. At one point the hotel management requested they be quiet.
