location and cleanliness and breakfast all very good

phone didn't work, air condition wouldn't turn off or turn on automatically so was either very cold or very warm all the time. Difficulty finding someone at desk.

    Almost nothing

Extreme poor attitude & unprofessional check-in staff! Our family had a nightmare that on-duty staff! We arrived hotel at quite late freezing night after a long day travel. My wife and my 2 young kids got in the lobby first while I was parking the car. The front desk staff named Peter did not care about them and kept talking to his younger colleague. After a while I came but he said only one room booking record was found instead of two. I showed him the booking.com reservation record with the booking details literally, but he said such 3rd party cannot be trust!!!! I was so surprised to hear that, as I has been using the booking.com to reserve the hotels in many countries for most of my trips for years. He tried to call booking.com but he told me the phone number showing on the booking.com paper is not correct!!!!! He said the rooms were available and I begged him allow us to check in first as it was cold late night and we were so tired. What an extraordinary rude and inconsiderate answer he has given, no check-in without the situation was clarified!!!! I was mad and we had a big argue for his totally insane and heartless handling of this situation! He kept trying to prove he has no mistake, he was so arrogant and just like he control everything. Finally he allowed us to check-in while my kids almost cried and scared so much when was half an hour later, he found out the other room registered under my wife's name, he still claimed it was not his fault! The booking I made was just followed the same procedures at all times as I did in my past 100 times booking through booking.com. I put my wife's name because the 2nd room requires another guest name. Obviously he confused at the beginning but surely he did not reckon and admit that. I did not complained immediately as I was busy during that trip. I am really appreciate if booking.com investigate for such unprofessional behavior. Also if the hotel says the booking.

The accomodations (clean, comfortable though hardly luxurious), staff and location were all quite fine as was the breakfast.

But the rate at over $300 a night seemed high, but maybe it's the location and time of year. The location could also use more exterior lighting at night. I passed it up because very little was visible in the dark...coming from the north on 7, I believe. Just .

the services offered far exceed the cost. the cleanness of the rooms are very important also the bathrooms. Both were excellent. The gentleman who manned the breakfast room was a wonderful asset to the hotel. He was friendly and helpful.
