Staff was courteous and accommodating, breakfast offered a variety of items, and the bathroom was clean. Room showed water damage on ceiling which makes me wonder how clean the room really was and what else has been neglected?

No hassle check-in and check-out. Desk clerk very polite and accommodating. Arrived late and parking lot full. Tractor Trailer was parked at rear upon arrival which took away many parking spaces which could have been used for cars, etc.

Everything was perfect: easy access, parking spaces, front desk lady very nice and helpful, beautiful room very clean, comfortable bed. Love the coffee in the room and the fact that I could easily control the air conditionner. No restaurant inside for dinner but we can get things to eat up in the room downstairs (microwave and fridge). Breakfast include with good variety of choices. (Did not have the chance/time to get to the swimming pool and gym.)

Room was clean and very comfortable We ended up in a smoking room. It had been sprayed but the smell was still there. We asked reception to be changed but it was not possible as hotel was full. Breakfast capacity is dramatically low compared to bed capacity. Result is that people ended up queuing to get a sit for breakfast. Given the standard of the hotel, it is not correct. Some rooms are very close to the ventilation system which is terribly noisy and gives sleepless nights. Again with such a standard you would expect that they take care of those disagreements.

The room was clean and comfortable for the price. We enjoyed it. It didn't smell of hotel, if you know what I mean. Everything worked (fridge, fan, TV, AC). The stuff was helpfull and friendly. It was quiet at night and the bed was really comfortable. Wi-Fi worked not so fast, but steady connection. Nobody tried to rush us in the morning, as they allways do in hotels. I can reccomend Holiday Inn Express to anybody. I also would like to mention ample breakfast - simple but sufficient. Very nice! The pool was ridiculosly small and reeked of chlorine - we didn't go in, off cource. Sauna didn't work too, but the gym was nice. Basically, I liked almost everything I saw.

For the $ we spent, it was excellent with the small inconvenience of what I wrote below. We were told one thing at check in, that although we were checking in a day late, the hotel clerk said we would be able to stay 2 nights, as we were there for my mother's funeral. We were billed for 3 nights in addition to prepaying on Booking.com for 2 nights. We still have not been compensated and plan to report this to the Suffolk Co. Police (if not rectified)

Schönes und sauberes Hotel mitten auf Long Island. Die Universität Stony Brook ist vom Hotel mit dem Auto gut und schnell zu erreichen.

sauberes Hotel Lage direkt am Long Island Express Way. Entsprechend laut, wenn man das Fenster öffnet.Ansonsten im Hotel selbst auch sehr hellhörig. Die nähere Umgebung war nicht gerade ansprechend, aber wer dorthin findet, hat eh ein Auto und kann sich dementsprechend fortbewegen. Das Hotel hat einfach entgegen dem vereinbarten Preis eine höhere Summe abgebucht !! Und uns hat gestört, dass dort die Angestellten vor Dienstbeginn im selben Raum wie die Gäste gefrühstückt haben. Dadurch waren manchmal mehr Angestellte als Gäste im Raum und es gab nicht genügend Platz für alle.
