new beautiful rooms, and excellent staff,
Convenient. Breakfast included.
$10 charge per day to park. It should be included in the cost. I'm tired of surprises at check-in. "Motel" means a motor-hotel. How else did you think I was going to get there?
Locationvery good : Swimming pool was great.
The Fire Alarm went off in the middle of the night but there was nobody at reception to enquire re the problem is that safe?? Coffee awful.
Situation good. Friendly reception staff
Lack of bar facilities.
Everything was fantastic
The shower had no place to hold soap, shampoo. The room was cold and we had to use a blanket found in the closet.
The costs was very reasonable. The hotel was extremely clean with up to date decor
Having to pay $12 for parking on grounds in addition to the cost of the room. I didn't feel was a reasonable cost.
Holiday Inn Express was the perfect place to stay when traveling to NYC. I will stay there again the next time I visit.
room was really far from parking garage
The team was very good (and proactive) at answering questions and making sure that we had a good stay.
I was terrified by the "cheese omelets" in the machine in the breakfast area. I appreciate the hot breakfast idea, and the pancake machine was ingenious, but omigod those omelet things were scary to see...
Comfy bed. Good maid service. Good food and coffee. Pleasant and considerate desk workers. Polite valet service.
Location on a one way street. Newspaper was not provided. Parking poor and expensive. HVAC very noisy. Inconsiderate food workers Same food everyday.
Most of the staff were outstanding - polite, pleasant, helpful.
The front desk knew nothing about the garage parking. The garage was recently sold and they put in a kiosk with tickets to get in and out. It had a multi-day pay option that I chose and had problems all 3 days getting out of the garage
Really loved your staff they couldn't be more friendly and considerate. 2nd time I stayed there in two weeks .
I arrived at the hotel a bit early, and I was able to leave my luggage until I returned. Staff were very efficient, accommodating, and polite The whole environment spoke of cleanliness, comfort, spacious, etc.
I would have preferred to get into my room at about 12:30 or so. I did send a note to request, but I am not sure how long it takes to get connected.
This was a great place to stay, not too far outside of NYC. The hotel was clean, room well kept and staff friendly.
Service was excellent and friendly, hotel clean and well presented. Good value for money
Stay there before it was good
Went back housekeeping was there after hours making noise being loud as I check out front desk said they had to check my room before they gave me back deposit. Then she got a call gave me back my money with a disgust. I asked what was hold up she said we smelled smoke but couldn't find evidence! I was embarrassed. I am from ny stay in Stamford evey weekend at the q, stamford plaza, Marriott hotel and spa witch I have honors at and the same type of rude haitian employees work in all in the hotels. Front desk lady at check at was rude and profiled me! Never apologize. I had a reservation that next weekend for my girl bday 2 days I cancelled right away! Then she told me it was no shuttle made me take a cab to train! No other hotel did that but she did it to me I nev r mention I stayed there before and they never did this she thought I was a first timer! Check my records!
Cleanliness, service, breakfast
Why should a guest have to pay for parking? That's just absurd! Your only option is to park in the garage. We then had to walk quite a distance from the garage through the constuction of another hotel to get to the lobby elevators, which would then take us to our room. We will not be staying there again.
Spacious rooms were nice
The location was a little bit away from the train stations but there were plenty of cabs available to get back to the hotel after a day trip to nyc
Friendly and helpful staff Warm breakfast Parking garage Free Wifi
Rooms are spacious compared to typical HI Express. Off street parking is an advantage
Very poor breakfast with inedible scrambled eggs, everything throw away.
