The breakfast was very nice and a great variety of foods to choose from
All we needed was there. Pancake machine at breakfast amused us all.
after enduring several poor travel experiences, a return to the IHG brand was a welcome relief. Friendly staff, clean room, decent treadmill, and filling breakfast. Location is close to good eating options as well. Would stay again.
Hard to imagine that the heat could work too well, but getting the temp to cool down a bit was difficult. I turned the unit off. Room def warmed up with single digit temps outside. Minor opportunity.
staff were friendly and helpful
our room did not get cleaned even though we were out all day. did not really matter i was just surprised because the cleaning staff seemed to be in our hall all day.
The receptionist was lovely and able to accommodate us on early checkin.
Staff was fantastic.
The location wasn't pretty, but reasonably convenient to downtown. Staff nice, room was clean.
First, the price was over $200 a night, which (sorry) is criminal!! There's no way Holiday Inn should be charging such a rate for Keene, NH. The Fall foliage and Pumpkin Festival apparently create demand for the rooms, so they can get away with it. Walls are paper thin, and floor above was so creaky, I thought the people upstairs were going to fall through. I was awakened several times by voices in the next room and noise from above, and I'm a pretty sound sleeper. Shabby construction? That's unacceptable for a Holiday Inn.
Convenient to where I needed to be, decent looking rooms. Price is ok for what you get.
Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything. The employees carry on loud conversations right outside your room with a privacy tag hanging on the door. Guests leave early in the am with complete disregard for others trying to rest.
The hotel was very clean, well staffed, nice breakfast. Was there for three nights and I slept VERY well each night. I thought that I would be hearing noises from the hallway throughout the night. But honestly, I never heard a peep.
Only thing is that I would recommend better lighting in the parking lot - particularly around the sides and the back. It gets pretty dark out there at night, and I always felt like a bit scared on my (am a woman). More light would make me feel more comfortable walking from car by myself.
Comfortable and good value
Price was $189 including taxes for an old nothing great hotel
The bathroom was big.
The room I was given was on the first floor near kitchen. It was very noisy with staff was loud thru the night. The clock was un setable and the lamp light was out.
COURTEOUS STAFF , QUIET ROOM , WI-FI WAS GREAT . FREE BREAKFAST WAS A BIG PLUS . GREAT LOCATION . WILL BE BACK IN THE FUTURE .
BATHROOM NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED .
Personal very very friendly and helpful. Breakfast various and more than plenty. A lot of free parking-spaces. Free W-Lan, business-center also free including printing as many papers as you need. Guest laundry. Rooms spacious with fridge and microwave. Indoor pool. Ministore in the hotel lobby.
Very pleasant staff. Clean large room. Ample parking Pancake machine Expensive compared to European hotels of similar standing
Swimming pool fine for children but too small for exercise. Gym facilities sparse, one treadmill, one cross trainer, one cycle which was out of order and a few weights and bench.
Rooms were well equipped and exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds and a nice little kitchen area. Staff was welcoming and helpful.
This was a great hotel, so this just a friendly suggestion: we stayed on the first floor and we could hear the breakfast buffet and people walking around in the room above us. If you're sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, ask for a room on the second floor.
I selected this location because I was looking for a place for two nights at a good value. When checking in I was told the second night would be $40.00 more. This place is tucked away out of town. It had construction and made getting in and out difficult. This place is a holiday inn express, not the Ritz.
The people at the front desk were wonderful. Our disappointment was noticed and our 3 night stay easily reduced to just one. They also called around to other hotels looking for a hot tub for us. We were also given free tickets to a nearby movie theater for our troubles.
At booking.com it stated that there is a hot tub. There is not. When we were given the key to our room, the room was not made up.
room service asked to come back we were getting dress for a wedding they did not. lavatory and tub drain slow reported it and desk clerk just said ok nothing done about it
Staff was friendly and attentive. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a nice variety.
Alittle out of the way.
Modern décor, lots of space.
Bathroom needs to be upgraded. Had to flush 3 times just to get the toilet paper to go down. The fridge was not cold enough. We put ice cream in the freezer and it melted and spilled into the fridge.
Everything. Buffet breakfast my favorite of any hotel we've ever stayed at. Lani & Judy are Great!! We look forward to our next trip back!
I miss the jacuzzi they used to have years ago.
Staff was friendly.
Cold water on both week end days and the price for the rooms was more than some of the most elite places in the world. TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY is more than fair. Heat did not work correctly. The refrigerator was not working correctly; on high and barely cool.
The room was spacious. The breakfast in the morning was very good and even someone with gluten intolerance could find something to eat.
The road going to the Holiday Inn is a mess of pot holes and raised patches.
