Hot breakfast and courtesy shuttle to and from major events
Have stayed at other Holiday Inn Exp in the past. Was dissappointed in this one. Noisy bathroom fan that sounded like a helicopter, sheets that smelled strongly of bleach, free breakfast with turkey sausage that tasted like cardboard, eggs cold in the middle, watered down oj.,
Housekeeping was erratic. Over three night stay, didn't replace used cups, towels and washcloths. WiFi connection erratic. Price to value ratio too high when compared with 3 or 4 star hotels.
Customer service staff were exceptional in resolving questions or concerns.
Noisy sound both from outside and other room through the ceiling. The bed is so bad, uncomfortable and make a lot strange sound.
Couldn't get the wifi to work during the two nights we were there, staff treated us like we were stupid when we told them that the wifi wasn't working. Location is amongst Spanish speaks, if you don't speak Spanish then good luck. If you want the free shuttle book this as early as possible because it was booked out when we wanted to use it.
Nice room, helpful staff if you don't have wifi problems.
There was no microwave in the room and the kitchen was locked so I was told by the staff at the reception I couldn't warm my food which was in the refrigerator .I had to go to bed hungry. It was a sorry experience.
One of the staff,Aida to be precise was very good. She is the best for me and made my stay worthwhile .She was very polite and has empathy. Joanne was a total opposite. She needs to go for training on customer service .
The only thing I didn't like as much was the location, during the day it felt nice, but at night I felt slightly uncomfortable. The only reason I say that is because one of their doors was locked when we arrived late from Koreatown, other than that this is a really nice place to stay.
I had to book a new hotel, as the last one did not meet my expectations, the staff were more than helpful, by letting us keep our bags under their care while our room was prepared and we went sight-seeing. Everything was really clean and I felt very comfortable staying there.
I called the front desk a few times later in the evening for house keeping concerns, the front desk clerk seemed a bit unwilling to help. I had to state the urgency of why I wasn't able to before responding to my request. Also..there was at least one day the house keeping did not clean the room. Not sure why it was skipped. Parking space was small
Considering the location, the hotel looked nice, had a pleasant aroma upon entering the building, beds were comfortable
Location is in a dangerous area in downtown. Dirty and creepy neighborhood. No system in the hotel reservation as my friend's reservation was cancelled in the same day we arrived with NO sort of notification (email or phone). Not all the staff were friendly. Reception staff were giving wrong travel information for customers. The room does not have all the facilities listed in the booking.com website. The breakfast is horrible. The toilets are not clean. .................. in general ... A DISASTER
Didn't have microwave like it stated in paper. Mini fridge wasn't working. Ice machine had black stuff in ice cube.
The Holiday inn was well situated for our needs. The room was adequate for us and we stayed for six nights. The breakfast was OK, would have been better. If they had bacon every day instead of two days in six and a bit of a fight to get any. The staff were great, very helpful and attentive. The shuttle bus service was also very good. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
The hotel it self is nice and the staff is nice as well however we had 4 people in our room and they failed to give us enough towel and wash cloths. I asked for them several times they even made not of it and still could not get it correct it was a bit annoying trying to get the kids a bath without wash cloths. We were there for 5 nights and none of the nights did we have enough dispute making it know on our reservation and to the staff. The first night I called and the front desk agent assured me that they were coming I ended up using hand towels to bathe with. The service is a bit poor if you need to be accommodated in anyway. The staff needs to pay closer attention to detail!
Breakfast was a good value. The facility was in good condition. The staff was friendly.
Great place real clean
The location was not too nice, at night scary even. The price was much higher from 2 years ago when I stayed here. Only one elevator was a nuisance.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. Clean room. Felt safe inside the holiday inn. Iron and blow dryer were provided in room. The furnishings were modern and the overall holiday inn was very clean.
Location !! Breakfast is just ok.. No varieties at all
Spa did not buble, smoking smell on nonsmoking room, too many people selling on the corner and the other side of the block.
Modern rooms, enough parking, good breakfast, close to the city.
Only 1 floor out of 5 had a working ice machine. It had only 1 elevator so the wait was much more than anticipated.
Staff were friendly, room was clean, and plenty of food during breakfast.
No WiFi connection what so ever. And Jacuzzi was not hot at all.
wifi in my room was poor (room 308)
Location, staff, shuttle service, breakfast
I didn't care too much for the location, and when Martin left who drove us to our location and said he wouldn't leave us stranded and would have them pick us up. Once he left the front office wouldn't go out of there way to pick us up at 9:45pm because the drive left at 10pm.. That wasn't good at all and we were very upset and had to find other transportation from our location at the Staples Center that was only a few minutes away..
One of your managers Martin went out of his way to make us feel at home.
One of the people who rented a room left a stink on the counter that was unbearable.
staff that was eagar to please. They will facilitate to your every need. Great people skills.
