Holiday Inn Express Los Angeles LAX Airport    

The staff member I dealt with at reception was poor at her job. She was rude and did not care at all that the airport shuttle bus did not arrive to pick us up and we got a taxi to hotel.

Perfect location for travelling around LA, quite and easily accessible. Friendly helpful staff and a great "Sizzler" restaurant 1 min walk away.

Cheap, nasty, horrible breakfast and plastic everything - knives,forks,plates,cups, food! Chose h I over other similarly priced in same location because free b/fast included.big mistake. Stayed 3 nights but skipped the b/fast horror on Day 3 - just could not face it. Found great little restaurant round the corner and vowed never to darken he Express' doors again!

The hotel was clean. The shuttle service was nice. Staff was friendly and they had a good business center

airport shuttle is very disappointed. had to stand outside waiting for their shuttle for almost 2 hours after 2 calls to the hotel. my tip; don't buy them if they told you to wait at the shuttle stop straightaway after your call, just take your time inside the terminal approx. 30 min. or so. then make another call before you go out.

Very convinient. Next to the airport. Perfect for one night stay in your way in or out of LAX. Very quiet inside the rooms. You do not hear airplanes or the noisy freeway

Window was foggy ;)

The front desk guy was rude. No parking in front of hotel in garage. Wanted you to pull all around the other side of building to park. While employees parked up by front door. The plugs crackled in bathroom would not work in room next to chair. And it smelled like a wet dog. Oh and we were on 2nd floor. The window was open. No screen or or lock on window. We stayed 2 nights. Hated it. Then got my bill totally different price then what I was quoted. Plus some kind of room occupancy charge 16$ a night. I'm a priority club member! Will not ever stay there again.

My Internet service on my laptop and IPad did worked on arrival, but it didn't the following morning, so I went down to lobby to keep working. Not good

I liked the staff when I arrived onsite they were friendly and greated me with a smile

The television reception was terrible, when we first walked into the room it smelled really bad.

Location - close to the airport. Rooms were clean and spacious. Hot breakfast included in the hotel cost was good value - and the breakfast options were good.

Neighbourhood a bit isolated. Web information a bit misleading as we were led to believe we could rent a Hertz vehicle directly from the hotel - which was not the case. But, Hertz rental was a close walk away. No shuttle service from the airport - unless you call for it. We waited about 40 minutes while all kinds of hotel shuttles came and went. It wasn't until we finally called the hotel that we were told one had to call for pick up. That should be well advertised on the website.

Helping us with our luggage. We had many bags and required lots of assistance, which we received.

Breakfast- not much variety and no real fresh fruit apart from bannas.

Close to LAX and to downtown LA. Easy to get to and has some nearby restaurants.Good breakfast selections and clean comfortable rooms. View over the airport and some aircraft noise at times but not overnight. Great helpful staff.

Being picky..small pillows.

Rapid payment system. Excellent bed an d pillows giving a really good sleep. Location was perfect for our purpose which was to collect a car, drive to Hollywood area and sante Monica. Roads were right at hand.

They left us waiting in the cold at lax for an hour. We called and staff told us a driver was on the way but their was a shift change and they did not even have the decency to tell us to take a cab. I am outraged. Won't ever go back.
