Exceptionally helpful staff Free popcorn
Gave us expired coupons for Graceland
We had a car so the location was NO problem. However, without a car, plan on lots of taxis. The ENTIRE staff is INCREDIBLE!
Great location for medical students; but, not for tourists.
Everyone was so nice & attentive. Breakfast was good!
Helpful, pleasant staff
Rooms could use updating.
the bed was comfortable even though I was disturbed by having to get out of the comfortable bed to be relocated in the middle of the night
the price because the room was small and not worth $150+. also, tv did not work and they relocated me to another room at 4 a.m. inconveniencing me, and I had to drag all my bags and belongings by myself to another floor/room. I was not compensated for the inconvenience or even asked if I needed help moving my things after I was already tired and having to move at wee hours of the night. I was totally unsatisfied.
Handy location only a short cab ride from Beale Street. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The front desk staff had several menus from restaurants that delivered to the hotel and made helpful recommendations. Made our stay less stressful as we were only passing through and didn't want to venture out.
I love the full breakfast. The staff is NOT afraid to say "Hello" or "May I Help You".. Free parking is a plus. The grounds are kept up and for the most part the hotel is well maintained.
This is the 1st complaint I've had after staying at least 4 other times this year. This bothered me.. I saw a Maintance gentleman working outside my room and I asked if he could address what looked like a melldew issue in my shower, he took a look , mumbled and never came back.. I was afraid to take a shower.. I would have moved to another room, but I was only staying 2 nights and this was addressed on day 2... The soap dish was missing and there were black spots where it used to be.. It could have been dirt.. I don't know, but he didn't wNt to know either..I won't return to THAT Room, but I will return to the hotel because I really like this hotel..
Some of the staff was friendly and helpful.
The room could have been cleaner. Small rooms, and we could see where the patchwork in the room was done.
Decent breakfast restaurants near by
staff were very rude not dog friendly
The room appeared clean and the set up of the room was nice.
The bed was not comfortable at all. The price paid was not worth it at all, possible renovation(looked like an old hotel on the floors but Lobby area looked nice) & the elevator was so loud, you could hear it inside our room which was not pleasant when trying to sleep.
room clean staff attentive good choice at breakfast
would have liked hotel transfer in and out of Memphis town centre
WE ENJOYED EVERYTHING, GREAT BREAKFAST, SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, STAFF HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY
I liked the close proximity to Beale St and all that area has to offer. The staff was awesome--from the front desk to housekeeping! Very friendly and willing to assist us in any way necessary!
Small bathrooms with no exhaust fans. Outlets in all rooms should be checked to ensure they function properly. Kind of difficult to get out onto Union, due to shrubs blocking traffic line of site.
The breakfast was pretty awesome for a free continental breakfast. They had free popcorn and cookies every afternoon.
our experience was delightful & we would book again
we should have booked a king bed, double was to small
Handy to town - 45 minutes down hill. We caught a taxi back.
No mixed fresh fruit for breakfast and no shuttle to down town.
Bathroom door would not close because the frame was warped. Needs maintenance.
Staff was helpful in giving a list of attractions. We really hadn't planned on going to one place but because it was on the list we did. My g/daugthers loved the trip. Fall breaking.
Fantastic staff. Fruit at breakfast buffet. The well-equipped fitness room.
Very small bed. (It seemed smaller than queen size) Bad internet connection.
I must say I was made really welcome on booking in. The member of staff Daryl was extremely polite, helpful. I was so pleased with my stay
It was just a bit of a walk to down town but nit putting me of in recommendation to my friends
Although not really in downtown Memphis, but it's just a ride if you take the bus. The station is also right in front of the hotel. The staff are so friendly. The hotel has no shuttle bus but they always help when you need a cab. One taxi driver who is in contact with this hotel is Rena. She is so nice and she never asked for a fixed amount. You pay whatever amount you can give. There was one time she drove us back to our hotel from Graceland, she told us about this best pizza in Memphis. She brought us there and it is indeed the best pizza ever. The hotel has also a good breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent staff, from the desk clerks to the house keepers. No one pretended to be friendly, they actually were.
The breakfast was well catered and tasty.
The wifi strength is very low making it almost nonexistent
