It was in a prime location due to which moving around places like times square was easy. The staff were friendly too and the food served was very good !
Rooms were too small and the sound of the air-conditioning system was loud. It was expensive !
great location, great breakfast, the location is really good, nice staff; The room was big enough. I will definitely go back to this hotel
Noisy conditioner, noise comes from outside street. No safe box. No sleepers. No even small bottle of potable water in the room.
The location was great, and they kept the hotel very clean.
For a family of four, the rooms are way too small. Even though you are not in your room often, you still trip over bags or someone.
Location was pretty central to everything
I could never get wifi to work properly and cell phone service wasn't great either
The Staff were extremely helpful, answered any questions I had, and assisted me with extending my stay and storing my bags on my last day.
Wi-Fi didn't work the first night and I had to call tech support. Wi-Fi was extremely slow; even my email took a while to load.
They trick you if you book through booking.com, they let you choose whether to have one kind size bed or two separate beds. After arriving to the check in desk, they just tell you sorry we don't have any two beds rooms available. I wanted to cancel my reservation and to search for another hotel, but they would have charged my credit card the first night.
Accessible to Times Square
Very congested rooms
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was good and they have an instant pancake maker! Who knew!! Great location with offsite parking available in the next block.
First room was very small for 2 adults and two teenagers. Felt like we were in a cabin on a cruise ship. Moved up to suite which worked much better.
The rooms were just too small. We had asked for a king size bed, I dont know what we got! Didn't feel like we were staying in a hotel at all! Very stuffy! BAD VIEW! Breakfast was horrible! only queues! Will not be staying in a Holiday Inn property ever
Location, location, location!
location breakfast staff comfort
Rooms were small and location was NOT Times Square
Size of rooms,breakfast
We loved the staff Breakfast was good Location was great. Ship across the street to get snacks, drinks and even food. A brutish pub two doors down that we loved. Barnes and noble within a block. Times Square a few blocks away but far enough away to not feel on top of it. Four blocks from American Girl. Walking distance to MOMA. A short cab ride to soho and Little Italy. Very close to Rockefeller Center. In four days, took two cabs and never had to take the subway in the summer heat, although subway was close.
Room is a little squished. We had a king. Three of us. The double rooms appear to be bigger. But we got used to it and would stay again. The location and staff were perfect.
The location. It was comfortable and clean.
The room was small.
I travel to NYC every two years and I always stay in this hotel, the staff is excellent and friendly always there for you to help you. This hotel is close to all the attractions so is easy way to save money getting caps. I defenitely recommender great place.
That the breakfast is too early LOL!!!!!
Rooms were clean and free wi fi.
Rooms were extremely small. Read previous comments but was still surprised at the size. Lobby--if you could call it that--was usually filled and appeared unclean. Price extremely high for what you got.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was non smoking, but when we first came in it smelled like someone smoked there.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is surprisingly good and healthy.
It was very close to Times Square and grand central station which was wonderful. Breakfast was great. We did have to spend time or money on a sit down breakfast. Taxis were easy to get. A few bars, a souvenir shop and a small snack deli were nice to have very close. I'd stay again.
This might sound snobby but the diet coke was out in the machine. Pepsi just doesn't work for me in the morning.
the location was excellent, I could easily walk to most places. The breakfast arrangement was very convenient. its great value for both your money and time...all major attractions are within walking distance..the room size is adequate for a single user. wifi is available free of cost and breakfast was included. It is served in the small reception area and is hot and yumy, especially the cinnamon roll. Since I had only 2 days and there was a city to be seen, being at the very centre was very helpful. The staff was helpful and checkin/ checkout didnt take time..TV had several channels so no cribs there..
There is a machine for cab booking, which couldnt read my credit card though. There was no view but then there was no street noise either. Although, noises from neighbouring rooms is quite loud.
Very run down and dirty. TV, wi-fi did not work. Rooms are very small. This is the worst Holiday Inn Exress I have ever stayed at. Poor experience.
My family and I like this hotel.
There is no fridge inside the room
