Curtain wall which separates breakfirst room in 2 parts was closed at 9:30 am, not attending my request to wait a little. My wife was in the other part of our table in order to get another cup of coffee. Hotel staffs seem working strictly as per their manuals (little consideration to clientes).

Bed was super comfortable. Staff excellent. Location great - so close to the piers. Breakfast lovely and plenty of choice.

No wi-fi in rooms, only at reception area which was annoying. One lift was broken and the other was so slow I frequently took the stairs!

Beds were very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful.

Would like to see fridge and and better tea and coffee aking facilities

The hotel has a great location near the fisherman wharf. The stuff is very welcoming. The room are big and comfortable.

Buses full of kids. Must have been 150 teenagers to wade through at breakfast.

The holiday inn express was in an ideal location to explore san francisco- the staff were always helpful and made some very useful suggestions for our stay in the city.The rooms were a good size always kept clean with towels and coffee making failities always to hand.

The breakfasts were poor. Although they made an attempt to provide a range of items their choice was often - for us - inappropriate. For example there was only one type of fruit available - the cooked breakfast option was not up to normal American standards.

Close to Fisherman's Wharf

When I booked my room online I asked for a room with a view and told them it was my husband birthday weekend. I got there only to learned that the hotel has no rooom with a view. I told them it would have been nice if someone had called me as that was my specific request. The gentlman just ignored my requests... My room smelled like cigarett. The parking fee was too high. I was able to hear my next door neighbors - felt like I was in an apartment. Would not recommend this hotel.

Staff reaction to the elevator debacle was unsatisfactory. Implication was that clients were to blame for being stuck in the elevator. Did not react at all to try and stop people using the defaulting lift

It has the best location close to the Píer 39, Ghirardelli square and Fisherman's Wharf. Room very comfortable and clean.

There's no wifi in the room, only in the hotel lobby!

To loud did not get a good night sleep! Over priced for parking

Good location, close to Fishermen's Wharf, bus stop and all main attractions. Good quality of the rooms: clean and spacious, helpful hotel stuff.

Very poor breakfast, but I guess that bis common when you are travelling in the United States
