The location was central to everything at the wharf. The staff was attentive and courteous Rooms were comfortable and clean
Quality of the complimentary breakfast could have been much better. Eggs tasted very bad.
Good location, close to fisherman's wharf and pier 39, also to 2 cable car stops and around the corner tour bus offices, hollywood cafe and supermarket.
Room was not so clean, a lot of hairs everywhere and very loud during night (doors are not isolated)
location, room and bathroom are great, very clean as well
breakfast could be much better!
Location, cleanliness of room, breakfast
The building has two lifts that barely work. During our stay one lift was broken for a few days and it was a constant wait to use the other one. Other than that it is a great place to stay
Close to the "touristy" area Comfortable beds Noon check out Breakfast available
Some street noise in the outside rooms Breakfast hours were quite early
Great choice! So pleased with this hotel; super location, helpful and courteous staff; breakfast plentiful and clean rooms.
Not a thing!
Close to the docks to look at boats and go out fishing, Close to trolley pick up for moving around. Good breakfast selection variety. Our rooms were quiet and beds were soft.
Alcatraz is sold out 3 weeks in advance, Bummer, did not make it this trip.
The hotel was so wonderful. Jessica gave us so many recommended things to do on our stay and she gave us some discount cards to use on some of the local restaurants. We always passed her desk on our way back to our room with big smiles of gratitude for such awesome suggested activities and restaurants.
The breakfast, although complimentary, could have been better. But we weren't really there to eat breakfast so it was a very minor point.
Brilliant place to stay
The location was fantastic , easy to get around from hotel. Nice staff , clean , very comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast was good since it was included in stay for free.
Breakfast could have been better.
Overpriced hotel and it's even 5 star
sound from the street
Staff was professional, friendly, very helpful
Insignificant flaws - just not perfect, but very good overall
Breakfast, room size, location,clean
pool not on site
We arrived at 12:00 hoping to be able to park our car for our 2 night stay, this we did and were even able to check in straight away. Lovely room, nice size, very clean and quiet. The hotel was a short walk from the Wharf area and Pier 39, lots of nice restaurants close by. Valet parking was a bit expensive ($45 a day) but we felt it was worth it for security of vehicle and peace of mind. Was aware there can be a lot of homeless people in San Francisco so we chose to pay a bit extra for a hotel in a better area, this was worth it as we felt very safe walking around, and returning at night. The hotel breakfast was busy with not really enough space for everyone, I feel this could be improved by extending the breakfast times, however the food choices were very good, with something for everyone.
Was quite expensive, but we knew it would be due to location, and preferred to pay a bit more to stay in a more desirable area.
The location was ideal for exploring pier 39 & FIsherman's Wharf. Pick up stop for hop on-hop off in same block. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was smaller than expected.
New carpets, and linens. Smell fresh.
Room are too small. No view. Can't open windows. Feel stuffy. Poor wall isolation. No restaurants and in room service. Can't customize AC
Breakfast and location
No pool or spa. Slightly high in price.
breakfest was very busy and poor. too much people. so we had no space. we did not eat breakfest at the hotel. They close at 09:30. This is too early. coffee was bad and in paper cups.
perfectly positioned on Fisherman's Wharf. Walking distance for main attractions.
Bun fight for free breakfast. Only operated til. 9.30am which was chaos
excellent location ,helpful staff.. ample breakfast in variety and quantity... very comfortable beds
swimming pool shared with sister hotel along the road a little way and pool very small. As it was not on site it meant walking back in wet things... would be useful to have a few more tables and chairs in breakfast area.
Breakfast was a nice surprise just expecting danishes but hot food, cereal pancakes etc. Plus real english toast and marmalade!!
God dam bedroom doors. All doors were fitted with very fast extremely loud closing. Every time a door was opened it closed with an almighty bang. Really annoying and hard to sleep through.
Very disappointed in the Room "suite" for $300/night. Regular room at too expensive, plus $45/day parking,
Did not get two beds like we wanted! Had to pay extra for a roll out bed so we would have two beds.
I was there on business so I did not need much, I was mainly looking for a reasonably priced decent hotel close to the touristy area. The place was really nice, staff on their game, very clean and professional. Parking was $45 a night but that's a SF thing not just this hotel.
