The location was good. It's about 6 or 7 blocks from the boardwalk, not too crowded around like other hotels that are all together.
Rooms clean, spacious. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms really spacious, remodeled and clean.
Breakfast very good, three kinds of cereal, scrambled eggs w. bacon one day, omelets w. sausage the other, pancakes, english muffins, toasts, bagels, mini muffins and cinnamon rolls and coffee, tea, milk, yogurt, orange and apple juice. Dining room spacious, w. about 10 tables, so you need to get there before 9.30 if you want to find chairs. Breakfast staff very helpful. Recepcionists and manager in duty very nice and helpful with tips on where to go and what to do. I will definitely go back to this hotel. Very good hotel specially if you have children. We went with our 3 kids, 10, 7 and 4 years old and my mom. We all had a great stay.
I looked around the other hotels by the boardwalk and I was glad I picked the Holiday Inn. It was about the same price as the other hotels -around $200 /night for a double queen room- but this one definitely looked better than the others around.
I didn't like that they had some people checking in at 3 am and they were too loud, yelling and kids running up and down the hallway, waking up everybody.
The towels in the swimming area are too little, only good for a 3 year old. I recommend to take towels from tne bathroom.
They also need shower caps in tbe bathrooms.
Rooms on the first floor next to the pool might be not as quite as you would like.
