Holiday Inn Express St. Louis  

I especially liked the way the hotel smelled when I first walked in the hotel. Their was a clean smell in the air and throughout the hotel. Very nice!

I thought the breakfast was rather limited. Also there was not much room in the breakfast area.

Very clean. Hallway did smell of smoke. Great breakfast great location comfy pillows. One of our hotels of choice when visiting St. Louis. Really hope the night employee was able to figure out how to apply our priority rewards number in the system so we receive our points

I wish if smoking is available in rooms that all of those rooms be on 1 floor. We had a non smoking room but in the hallway it smelled like smoke. I know some of the surrounding rooms were smoking rooms and I didn't like the smell.

The desk staff were very nice. When we arrived at 3:29 our room was not ready and the maids were on the phone in the room. The front desk staff took care of that situation and at our request moved us to a room on the other side of the building so we could watch out for our car. Everthing else was lovely. Thank you.

The check in staff were having a heated argument with another guest while we were waiting to check in. When we did check in, they insisted our booking was not pre-paid, even though I showed them the pre-paid confirmation. They said they would verify...but upon check-out the next morning they still said it had not been pre-paid. After some discussion, they agreed it had been pre-paid. Very poor customer servive from check-in staff.

Very nice accommodations for the money. Had all the amenities I look for. Coffee pot, fridge, and microwave in room and a decent breakfast offering.

Courteous staff and free flowing coffee and juice

Flexible rate meaning the room rate per night changes which was never made clear to us when we booked thru booking.com
