    The welcome desk and staff were efficient and happy to have us. Staff was very pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was amazing with food choices even for those on special diets (vegetarian). Location is easy to find and value is exceptional. Our room was always clean and easy access to the free parking. I like the refreshments mini-store in the lobby.

    It was easy to sleep-in because beds were so comfortable! Very positive experience.

    WiFi

    I booked a king size bed room and when I arrived to the hotel they only had two twins. Tables were burned from cigarettes even though they say its a non smoking room. carpet is a little old. staff not friendly.

    Breakfast - toaster and pancake maker was inoperable , because of circuit breaker shut down.

    I loved the shuttle service to the Metro station. The location of the hotel was also great. At a walking distance of a lot of places to eat.

    That they didn't have a restaurant in the hotel for supper. They allowed delivery, which is great, but sometimes, after a long business day, you're just too tired.

    Hotel and room were very clean and staff was excellent. The shuttle service to the Metro made traveling to downtown very easy.

    I've never answered one of these before. Truly delightful stay. All staff spot on in their own jobs and overlapped each other with smiles and extra effort to make family business trip so much easier. Don't let the all excellent ratings make me seem to be a column checker. Each excellent was individually deserved. One of the few businesses I've dealt with that is well organized, well executed, and obviously delivered by a caring staff. (I've stayed at about 400 hotels and several times at other Holiday Inn Expresses.

    Everything was great except the noisy heating and air-conditioning operation.

    Heating and air-conditioning was too noisy (very loud).

    Breakfast comfortness of room

    We were given a key to room 123 and when we opened the door there was allready another guest in the room. How were we able to open up someone else's room?

    Staff were great

    We had no hot water and had to change our room on the 2nd day. The staff were very nice when I complained but I was told they have a water problem on that side of the building! It was a pain to move everything as we had unpacked and were staying for 4 days!

    Everything - breakfast was wonderful. Mattress was very comfortable - I have arthritis in my spine & back and it was very supportive and comfortable.

    My husband would like an indoor poor, so when he brings our granddaughters down to visit Washington DC they can swim - which most kids just love. Pool was not an issue for our stay.
