The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast although in a small area was well organised and had several choices - all we needed. The hotel was opposite the tourist bus stop, the train station and near some shops and restaurants
The view from the room but we had asked for a quiet room so were given one at the back. Preferred that to a room with a view but facing the street.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was our first trip to Boston with our teenage children. The staff were wonderful to us.
Dimly lit hallways, very loud guests at very late hours made it hard to sleep. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and there was also a small kitchen. Breakfast was rich and delicious! The hotel is close to North Station, so you can easily reach any point in and out of Boston. I would definitely recommend it!
My family and I read lots about the review prior to our reservation, it went beyond our Expectations especially we had a good and cooling airconditional in our room and good breakfast provided by the hotel. Never forget about the friendliness of all hotel staff who are very helpful in meeting our need. A very special thanks and appreciation to hotel staff who called us when we left our luggages on the street which the driver who picked us up from hotel has forgotten to load into the vehicle. Thank you very much and you made us feel at home! Vince & family from Singapore.
Maybe we will return to this hotel in the near future with a improved price ;-)
Perfect location for TD Gardens event.
WiFi was terrible and don't like plastic cups to drink from and to pay 400. a night you expect better.
Staff was attentive, caring, and polite.
Room HVC was a little noisy.
Very helpful. Well situated for tourists.
We were on 5th floor and the corridors smelt bad.
the bathroom and bed were clean
the location was scary and the room was dismal.
Central Location ideal for sightseeing and travel to airport
Room too small, unable to empty suitcases. Lack of hangers and drawer space
Close to towncenter and airport
The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The bathroom had enough room with the proper amenities anyone would need. The wifi was fast and had a strong signal.
It was very noisy and there was considerable street noise all night. Perhaps newer windows would keep the sound away.
quiet and clean rooms, nice staff
the area (north station) is quite ugly. Drug addicts hang around in front of the hotel. I would not dare to leave the hotel at night.
The breakfast was outstanding even though you eat in disposables. The young serving us was brilliant.
It's a bit musty and old even though they have revamped it
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for sightseeing.
location, wi fi
lobby, parking ($40/day), cleanliness was poor
Extremely noisy. Intoxicated teens yelling directly outside the hotel entrance until 2:30am. Valet parking is 3 blocks away, not adjacent to hotel. Nowhere on hotel web site is this identified. Finally, there was a couple making out by the front door at 4:30 am when I walked the three blocks to get my car out of the parking structure. I have stayed at numerous Holiday Inn Expresses. All were very positive. This was a huge disappointment.
You can hear the plumbing from other rooms which makes this a noisy place to stay
Breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Efficient. Close to downtown sites - Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market
Expensive parking not on site.
Comfortable beds Good Air conditioning Friendly staff Across the street from Boston Garden
WiFi hard to use Shower in disrepair Worn-down appearance High price High price for parking ($39/day)
The ladies at the front desk were wonderful
It was close to everything. The subway, and walking distance to many historical places. Most staff was very helpful
The first day we were there the air conditioner was not working properly. They gave us two fans to keep us cool. Could not talk to either manager because they were both on vacation. I did speak to a desk attendant, and the next day they did move us, but only after I had told them that I had contacted Booking.com. The rooms were average and had an old musty feel to them. For the price I paid, I was not impressed.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel's front entrance is basically in an alley; there were homeless people and vagrants walking around, very uncomforatable for a family. The entire immediate area is run with graffitti and trash on the street. Parts of the street smelled like urine. When I was following the GPS to the hotel and we arrived, I almost left, it's that BAD. If you are solo for a sports game the hotel would work for the location only. $40 a night for parking? Really? The elevator did not work so everybody, including staff were forced to take the service elevator. All in all the staff were friendly and helpful otherwise this is a $300 a night hotel in a run down part of boston.
The bed and the bathroom were excellent. In general the room was good. The location was OK, there is a five to ten minutes walk to the centre.
A repeating noise, which sounded like a ventilation motor made it difficult for my girlfriend to get to sleep. Do not expect good views, it is a 3 story house with taller or same height buildings around.
