You can hear the plumbing from other rooms which makes this a noisy place to stay
Breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Efficient. Close to downtown sites - Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market
Expensive parking not on site.
Comfortable beds Good Air conditioning Friendly staff Across the street from Boston Garden
WiFi hard to use Shower in disrepair Worn-down appearance High price High price for parking ($39/day)
The ladies at the front desk were wonderful
It was close to everything. The subway, and walking distance to many historical places. Most staff was very helpful
The first day we were there the air conditioner was not working properly. They gave us two fans to keep us cool. Could not talk to either manager because they were both on vacation. I did speak to a desk attendant, and the next day they did move us, but only after I had told them that I had contacted Booking.com. The rooms were average and had an old musty feel to them. For the price I paid, I was not impressed.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel's front entrance is basically in an alley; there were homeless people and vagrants walking around, very uncomforatable for a family. The entire immediate area is run with graffitti and trash on the street. Parts of the street smelled like urine. When I was following the GPS to the hotel and we arrived, I almost left, it's that BAD. If you are solo for a sports game the hotel would work for the location only. $40 a night for parking? Really? The elevator did not work so everybody, including staff were forced to take the service elevator. All in all the staff were friendly and helpful otherwise this is a $300 a night hotel in a run down part of boston.
The bed and the bathroom were excellent. In general the room was good. The location was OK, there is a five to ten minutes walk to the centre.
A repeating noise, which sounded like a ventilation motor made it difficult for my girlfriend to get to sleep. Do not expect good views, it is a 3 story house with taller or same height buildings around.
Dark Alleyway Entrance People Sleeping on Sidewalk by front door Unsecure Parking
helpful staff great valet service
Location was ideal right next to a metro stop and Boston is a great walking town except for the uneven sidewalks
I requested for wake up call to catch up with my flight the following day. However, the customer service clerk (fat guy) did not wake me up. My rented car was still at the garage which was more than 300 meters away from the hotel and on the 7th floor, I wasted my money that I paid for the valet. I had to run to the garage because I was already late. It was the worst service I ever received in a hotel.
Breakfast choice was good. The location was very good for access to North Station and quite reasonable for access to the harbour and the restaurants of Little Italy.
The hotel is located on a back street and initial impression was not very good. The breakfast area is just part of an open lobby and could be improved by the addition of some screening.
It was close to TD Garden
-If you are paying cash, you have to have a debit/credit card with the same amount that your room is in order to check in. -When we were checking out they only had one guy doing valet so we had to walk to the parking garage (5 minutes away) carrying our bags and get our own car. -The complimentary breakfast was not good. -The wifi was very slow -Right outside of the hotel there are bars outside so people were loud all night
Proximity to walking tour, North Station T, and Garden; amenities (business center, fitness center
Small room; crowded lobby at breakfast
The location was great. The beds were VERY comfortable and the continental breakfast was also great. Most of the reviews were right on target, basic but comfortable. The staff was very nice.
My first impression was of an older hotel needing some interior updating and the room was basic. The bathroom had a floor tile, in the middle, that was not level with the other tiles.
It was on an alley street and very dirty
The Receptionist was extremely pleasant and very helpful.
They staff were very nice and warm
Neigbourhood full of homeless people and dogy looking guys lurking in the corners. The lift is so slow and makes awful noise when you call for it. Leaving you scared of being stuck in. The wifi is terrible slow, also if you have apple product , it doesn't work. Hideous dirty brown rug all over the floor in the hotel, that is the deal breaker.
The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and the staff was nice. It was a great location for sight-seeing downtown.
There were some maintenance items that needed fixed in the room that were never fixed while we were there. The room ended up being a lot more than what we were told.
It's convenience for city centre attractions. The staff were great, welcoming, friendly and helpful above and beyond the call of duty.
The garbage cart at 2 am!
The beds were horrible and the ac was not good.
Location was convenient. Good selection for breakfast
Bit noisy outside on weekend
Breakfast was very poor.
- v helpful reception staff - good range of choices for buffet breakfast - excellent location near T station, which made access to Logan airport easy (and inexpensive) - good size comfortable room
- continuous road noise - the down side of the excellent location! - difficult to control air-con unit: user instructions would have been helpful
