Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Chicago O'Hare    

Proximity to airport, room size, cleanliness,comfortable bed, great pillows.

No onsite restuarant, however one was across the parking lot.

The hotel was very clean and had great facilities for the traveller. Free shuttle to airport was very handy - pool was great and it all felt very spacious. Staff were friendly and cheerful.

I was VERY unimpressed with the waste associated with breakfast catering - the use of polystyrene and plastic for dinnerware and cutlery. Also breakfast hours until 10 am would be better. Also, internet access was SO slow would be great if a little better speed in the business centre.

Ballroom above us was loud and made sleeping difficult.

Service was fine, friendly staff, and the breakfast was good.

I did have beer cans in my trash from the guest before me, but other than that it was fine.

Facilities were very clean and comfortable and the staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food. Even though they don't have an on-site restaurant I was able to order easily from a nearby eatery for delivery.

Location can be a little difficult to navigate when unfamiliar with the area.

It's close to the airport and has a shuttle.

There wasn't any gluten free food at breakfast except the fruit.

I took the shuttle from O'Hare. I called in, they said they'd let the driver know and hung up. I wasn't given an estimated arrival. I waited about 20 minutes in 20 degree weather at 10pm with a small child, and I'm expecting. .. after 20 hrs of travel. I don't think 20 minutes is unreasonable, but it just felt like hours. A bus for Holiday Inn showed up, we got in. I got to Holiday Inn to find out I was on the wrong bus. Two other people behind me done the same thing. We were supposed to get on the Holiday Inn Express bus. I had to pay for a taxi to get there. The staff at Holiday Inn Express didn't see this is an issue, and were not apologetic. I didn't ask for compensation or anything, but I think that warning future clients to make sure it's express would be quite considerate.

Every half an hour shuttle service from the airport makes it easy to access to hotel. When I arrived at the airport there was no shuttle, and I did not know how frequent the shuttle was coming. I called the hotel to inform them that I came. They immediately dispatched a shuttle for me from the hotel to the airport to pick me up.
