We usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express by the racetrack, they were booked so tried the one in Roanoke. Glad we did very nice little area to stroll through. Restaurants, bars, bakeries and shops. Very relaxing after a days drive.

Roanoke is the Central point between all other points of interest in the area, but tucked away from the majority of rush traffic. Comfort Inn is on a hilltop just South of Hwy 114W & slightly SW of Hwy 377. Hwy 114W goes straight to Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) and passes under I-35W, which will also take you South to Fort Worth. Coming back to Comfort Inn at Roanoke after an exciting day at TMS is a welcome night to recharge your batteries!

The rooms were nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. Would like to see healthier choices at breakfast, but that is about our only complaint. Location is great, close to shopping and restaurants.

The stay here, was miserable. Every time we left our room, we had to get our key cards reactivated to get back in our room. Ridiculous. There are delicious restaurants all over, and the area is quite cute. We are at Hard Eight, twice! I highly recommend it. They have some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Also, across the street from Hard Eight is a cute candy shop.JolieUnited States of America

I missed the self serve buffet but the staff was extremely accommodating and the coffee was very good. Room has a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator which is nice for groups. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning does its job well. We like a cold room when sleeping and that’s not always an option at other properties. If staying because of an event at TMS the location is perfect.
