Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Latham    

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was good because there were many choices for eating out and pleasure shopping.

When we first arrived in our room we noriced that there were two lights that were out. We than called the front desk and asked if they could have them fixed. They told us they would send someone right away. We were there from Friday till Sunday and they never showed up with the bulbs. On Saturday when the cleaning person came they only made the bed and picked up the dirty towels. They never replaced the towels untill well after 6pm and we had to call and ask to have the coffee service refilled. We also required a plunger and had to call twice to recieve it. When we checked out the person at the front desk never even asked us if we enjoyed our stay. He only took our money and told us to have a good day. This was the second time we have stayed at this location and I myself have been there for many business meetings. I just might let all my contacts know what the service is at this hotel.

Very friendly front desk young fellow. Good breakfast.

No change area for swimming or shower.

The breakfast was delicious.

I was woken up at 8:00 am with a knock from the maid asking when I was checking out on the day of my checkout. I explained 11:00 when checkout was. Then the door would not close and lock anymore because the key was automatically deactivated before checkout. I felt kicked out and was forced to leave without a shower and bring my things to breakfast instead of be able to leave them in the room while eating.

The receptionist Andy was very capable and provided excellent service. Thank you so much for arranging the cab for us, so we could make it to the airport on time!

Clean, safe, well lit

No refrigerator in the room and the bed was squeeky

room was on the side of the freeway so constant noise from traffic all night, A/C unit was very noisy and had to shut off completely. Very little, to almost no sleep! Nice place other than that.

Room was large and clean with the exception of stains on the coverlet.

I have addressed concerns with an email to Justin. Service was horrible the evening we arrived and the morning we left. SHuttle wasn't working, phone wasn't being answered, no one at front desk when we arrived, waited 10-15 minutes. Taxi called for us by night desk person was very sketchy and filthy. Cab woman was smoking and blaring music at 4am. No shuttle again, even though its advertised on website. Don't advertise it if you're not covering flight schedule at Albany International. Would not stay here again.

Carpet had many spots. Definitely should have been cleaned. Not a good impression for the chain.

The king size bed was great.

I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel, we had spent the previous night at the hilton garden in Troy, but they were full for the next night we had to spend in the area (we had a death in the family in Cropseyville ny) we asked at the Hilton for a reccomendation for a room and they suggested yours, we were expecting a lot less than what we found, and it was only a few minutes more away from where we were. We had always stayed in Troy, not knowing the area well, but next time we visit with family up that way again, we will choose your hotel, as the value and the hotel itself was outstanding.

Check-in and check-out are always easy. Parking is now tight but, manageable. Enjoy the opportunity to check-in on-line at a savings although you are taking a risk with the no refund/cancellation policy. Like that you can get a no charge breakfast - very nice selection. Offering USA Today to your guests is a plus. I've been coming to the Holiday Inn for years during the August racing season. Stayed across the street. So glad you upgraded. Found the rooms very comfortable.

My only complaint (if you could call it that) is the noisy air conditioning system. If only you put in central air when you built the new facility. It is disruptive if you are used to central air or open windows for some.

The hotel was convenient, clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The bathroom lighting was poor.

The website stated that there is a shuttle service to where you're going but there was none. They put me in a room on the ground floor that the bathroom looks like a room for a hospital patient. There was no soap dispenser in the shower area and the sink does not have room for your toiletries and make up. There was no blinds in the window and you can see the people outside walking and smoking because it is near the reception area.

The whole experience there was enjoyable. From the morning breakfast to the evening swim at the indoor pool, everything as great. The staff were extremely helpful and polite.
