That there was no small refrigerator.
quiet and pleasant
stay was short so everything was fine..no issues
I had issues with the wi-fi and television. Neither worked. The second time it happened in the morning, I called the front desk and no one responded. I ended up fixing the issue myself. I think that's pretty awful considering I spent $135.00 for the room. VERY disappointed and will probably not stay there again!
Fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night. Not a good nights sleep due to having to get up and evacuate.
My husband was out on business, and they were very accommodating with a late check out... very nice breakfast
Kyle, the evening desk clerk, helped us with several issues, particularly with securing our military rate. The food was tasty and the location was ideal for our purposes
staff was friendly
elevators to slow
Value & location.
Location to Saratoga!
Guy at the front desk at check -in was a bit snarky in his comments. Noticed a dirty high back chair in the lobby immediately upon arrival which turned me off. Upon arriving in my room I noticed a huge dark stain on the rug in front of the bed nearest the window and 2 smaller ones between the beds. I admit, I did not complain about it! We were only in our rooms to sleep and I just decided to not go barefoot on the rug, Also, there was no refrigerator in our room. Bathroom was very clean and so were the beds, So I just let it go. Checked out the pool and the water was cloudy. Decided not to chance it! No one else was there either! Guess they thought the same thing! Breakfast items were never refilled on the 2 days that we went. The last morning we gave up and went across the street to a bagel shoppe! Probably the worst part of our stay was the bar, On Tap, next door! Stopped there the night we arrived and had these very loud and obnoxious people at the table next to us.They won the trivia game that was being played and started popping champagne. I guess they were excited about the prize they had just won! Anyway,we didn't stay long because we couldn't even hold a conversation among ourselves! For some stupid reason, we went back the next night. We didn't feel like waiting an hour for a cab! We went for happy hour and figured we would sit outside! Bad idea! The service was horrible! Waited 20 minutes for our first round of beers! The appetizers came a half hour later and we were given no plates, silverware or napkins! The chicken Ques-adillas had hardly any chicken on them. When I was able to get the waiter and complain he refused to do anything about it! I complained to the manager, he said he would take care of it. He did nothing,in fact we were over charged 2 beers! There were only 3 tables filled outside that evening.Yet, we noticed 1 table getting terrific service! It was the loud people from the night before! Thank God we were not sitting next to them!
The location was easy to find. The staff was friendly and helpful at check- in. We had a good dinner at the attached restaurant.
The bed was horrible; neither of us slept very much. It needs replaced-- both frame and mattress. The room was spacious but lacked a desk at which to work and a mini-fridge for which there was a space. The carpeting was stained near the window. The staff was overwhelmed with the number of people eating breakfast--they needed more help.
The staff was very courteous ,helpful and very willing to accomodate us .to make our stay easy and comfortable.
T.V didn't work .no refrigerator ( which should have been in our rm. )As so advertised, Elevator broke down, and was unavailable for our check out. Then couch cusions were stained from ,who knows what!?Not enough morning newspapers. No fans in the bathrooms.
The shower pole was broken and we could not take a shower unless the water would have spill all over the bathroom. I called the frontdesk Friday evening and they said that that they would repair it Saturday morning. We could not take a shower that morning either. When we came back Saturday evening the shower pole was as it was the day before. I went to the front desk to complain. The lady apologised and said that she will take care of it.Someone came to the room later to have a lok. He came back later to take a picture. He came back again to tell me that the repair man was on his way. Finally the cook - yes the cook came in to have a look. The cook came back another time to kind of repair it and fix the pole as he said temporarily...but the shower curtain did not close completely but more than it did before. I asked the manager for some kind of reimbursement. He finally accepted to reduce the location of the room of $25.00 each of the 2 nights for a total of $ 50.00. I expected a full night free and not in the future but on the spot. I had to argue with him, we have been bothered many times Saturday evening and could not take a shower for most of our stay. I do not even understand why the pole was not repaired before we arrived since cleaning people must have seen it before and why they rented the room in that condition. Plus, my daughter wanted to go swimming in the pool. The water was not clear and to me it was disgusting. This is the reason why I said earlier the it was not clean; but the room was clean; eventhough the bathroom there was dirt on the floor after the repair and that the two men who came in the room to look at the shower walked in it with their shoes.
It was clean.
The bed was lumpy
Close to highways.
Carpet had stains that should have been addressed by housekeeping.
Breakfast was excellent.
Lisa was too put off when asked to provide cream for a guest. Her comment " If I do it for you I have to do it for everyone"
it was nice,cozy and comfortable
First the check in ran late. The sheets on our first night looked to have blood stains on both queen beds. The pool was murky and the whirlpool was covered in think white foam. The toilet was not working and we had to use the toilet by the lobby. Due to the lack of service at the front desk we felt no need to contact them because they showed a lack of caring about our initial check in. We walked away thinking that the hotel was being run by some early 20 somethings that were not experienced in life were running and representing a hotel chain that up until that point had been very dependable over the years. Now, I would go out of my way to stay somewhere else. I witnessed the same frustration from others staying at the hotel. It ranks as one of the top 3 worst hotel experiences in my 40 years on the planet.
