Nice beds and pillows, breakfast good. Close to cinema and food
Staff very helpful, personable
location staff helpfulness
Location, facilities, confort
I needed a room servisse and wather inside the room
We liked how close it was to downtown PHX and the staff was super friendly!
No breakfast potatoes on the hot bar!
Quality of accomodations. Proximaty of event. Nice and clean.
Quality of food was substandard, perhaps the preparation was poor both days of our stay. Not typical of prior HIE experience. Noisy occupants of room next to us.
Easy and pleasant jaunt to baseball venue; "discovered" the Science Museum and Basilica gift shop, both of which worth the visit; welcoming and friendly staff; newspaper delivery; quiet; room location; great variety of breakfast items.
Powdered eggs and rubbery pancakes; next time I'll stick with bagels.
Clean, clean , clean. Beds were comfortable also , staff were helpfull and efficient
The cost. It's the most I ever paid for a hotel in downtown phoenix in June...I've paid less per night at Phoenix and Scottsdale Resorts! Will Never stay at a Holiday Inn for that price!!
Location was good, walking distance to restaurants and ballpark. Conveniently located off the highway.
Rooms are older, could use some upadating, including bathrooms, no ventilation.
Internet access and Breakfast
the gym, treadmill was broken
close to business location friendly staff good breakfast options
walls must be very thin as I could hear person staying in room next to mine(conversation and snoring) Pillows not very comfortable did not offer waffles at breakfast
About the only positive was for the desk clerk, Vanessa, who was clearly uncomfortable not being able to give me a room but stuck with it until she received authorization to let me in.
I arrived to find the hotel overbooked, and even though it was about 8PM and rooms were available the desk clerk on duty was not empowered to check me in since they were overbooked. I had to wait over an hour for her to contact a manager and get approval to let me check in, and hour that pushed me past closing time of most restaurants. Even though the location is listed as 'downtown' and 'ballpark' it is almost a mile from the ballpark and most restaurants and services. The location must have security issues since there is a heavy metal fence around the property with the gate closed after 9 PM. Does not engender a feeling of safety. WiFi in the room was almost useless. I had to tether to my phone to actually do anything on the network.
the staff were incredibly helpful
I found the staff very accommodating. the breakfast bar had a nice selection and saved us time and money eating somewhere else before our appointments. We could park all day even when one of us was away from the hotel. I will stay there again next time I have to stay downtown. Pat - Sedona P
