    We had to ask for a crib three times before they brought it up. The third time when the front desk asked the gentlemen on staff if he'd looked he got up from the couch he was resting on and said he hadn't even looked yet.

    I loved the room. It was a large king suite and very clean and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

    The breakfast. I thought that it was very cheap for as much money as they make. They could afford to have a better selection and real bacon and eggs.

    The hotel was in a good location; the price was reasonable.

    The hotel was not very clean; it was cheaply-furnished. It was not of the quality expected for Holiday Inn. On the other hand, the bed was comfortable, and the staff responded to our needs.

    The breakfast was pretty good and they had plenty to choose from. The hotel looks pretty new and it had a "homey" feel to it. The location was great considering I went to San Antonio to visit Six Flags.

    The staff. Upon arrival an individual behind the desk (who had no name tag and had his shirt untucked) was extremely rude and inappropriate. I reserved a King Suite with a whirlpool bath tub in it and he stated, in front of my wife and daughter,"Oh you have a kid? Looks like you won't be using the Whirlpool." Then he attended another customer behind me who check in prior and asked what he needed. The customer said his room smelled like smoke and he wanted to change to a standard room. He proceeded to tell him it's likely someone who smoked in the hallway and it carried into that room, but he ended up changing it out. After the aforementioned customer left, he then complained to us about how,"religious" people are so "picky" referring to the customer. On Sunday, after we returned from Six Flags, our keys didn't work so we waited at the front desk to get them reprogrammed. No one was there for about 15 min and the phone kept ringing. Finally, the worker walks in from the front doors and attends to our issues simultaneously picking up the phone. Apparently it was his friend on the line, informing him that this girl that they previously hung out with (on Thursday I believe he said) wanted his number. Additionally, the following day I decided to take a swim and the entrance lock is posted on top of the gate, which I didn't know. I asked him as he was taking the trash out and he told me to pull on the handle at the top. As I was doing it he said condescendingly,"Therrrre ya goooooo." As a soldier, the angry monsters in my head wanted me to punch his face in, but I withheld reminding myself ill write this long letter to Holiday Inn and I wanted to relax on my vacation. The manager was nowhere to be found either when I inquired twice. Thankfully during that incident I happened to see he was finally wearing his name tag. So here's to you David, you're a really good representation of Holiday Inn.

    I didnt like that during to booking we had a choice of double beds and one king. I chose double beds brcause I took my kids and got stuck with a king. I had to go to walmart at 11:30@ night to buy an airbed. So we took turns sleeping on the bed. Then during check out my credit card was put on hold and I paid with my company card. My card did not get off of hold until friday july 12 so duting the whole trip I had to be on a budget. Very very disappointing. Even after we talked to a rep. At booking and holiday inn. Never again will I make that mistake. Worse trip ever!! I was put in a non smoking room and it smelled like cigarettes and the smoke detectors were covered with a plastic bag told the staff nothing was done about it.

    The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed, including directions to all the places we wanted to visit. They were helpful and patient answering the kids questions and never made any of us feel like we were a bother.

    There was a smell in the room when you first entered, kind of like stale a/c, but after being there a while, you didn't notice it. I would suggest using an air or carpet freshener when cleaning.

    Everything was good for the mist part. Very courteous!!!!

    Mosquitos were in the room!!!! Bit my kids and not much was done.
