Wish the hot tub was working.
Great location, excellent staff and good Breakfast facilities and comfortable sleep
Great staff and nice facility.
It was a convenient place to stay, close to the walk down town. It was quiet and had a good view of the town and river,
coffee was good sitting area pleasant
Poor cleaning staff did not know answers to questions kitchen often out of yogurt, bananas
Staff was incredible Except kitchen staff they were gossiping so loud everyday
Got Head Lice, Free Breakfast but NO FOOD Kitchen staff gossiped about other staff members daily
The ovation worked for us. Linens were decent.
Room was not fresh and was smelly. Bathroom not really clean with long hairs about. Deck hadn't been swept and chairs not clean. Breakfast food a big disappointment. Really, processed eggs, etc.? The place needs a full cleaning.
GOOD BREAKFAST QUIET
RUG WASN'T CLEAN NEEDED VACUUMING SOME OF THE WALLPAPER WAS COMING APART ABOVE THE SHOWER THIS FACILITY NEEDS UPGRADING
It is a very nice, well kept hotel in an very awesome beach side town with charm. The night manager and staff were all awesome! They helped us out and were very nice. They had the room all opened up and cool for us.
Just a heads up that you are opening the room door and the door out to the back patio (ground floor) before you open them up. Just a little odd to walk into that. With people outside you are not sure if it is your room or not. My only serious complaint is there was mold and significant dust along the top tile border of the shower. I am taller than average so I notice these things, but it doesn't mean I want to look at it.
It was available
The price the low lighting no restaurant or bar not enough parking breakfast is too early not enough tables for b fast no amenities yet high price never stay there again
Excellent location for beach access, walking to local restaurants. Breakfast staff were pleasant, good service.
Front desk service slow, staff checked us into a room already occupied by another family, took three attempts to give us a working key card to the correct room. Room furnishings minimal, only one light with a low wattage bulb that made it impossible to read after dark. WiFi service was slow, frequently interrupted. TV remote didn't work. Cost of room was more than I have ever paid in the state of Oregon (it was Labor Day weekend in a costal community).
The room is clean and quite. Breakfast has pretty good sections.
I have booked 2 double beds. When I went to my room, there was a king size bed and a sofa. I went back to the front desk and they said they were out of double beds. And they have "upgrade it" for me. So, I was paying to sleep on a sofa bed. And I have to bring the bed linens and pillows set from the front desk to my room. Beside the sofa bed, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Very nice room, beds very comfortable. liked the extra pillows
There was a wet wash cloth inside one of the beds. So it makes you think... was the bed changed in between customers ?? Should always change beds even if looks like no one used the bed.
Pool, close to town and big room. Good breakfast.
Late check in after 4:00. No towels in the pool area and after telling the counter agent he forgot again. Poor AC unit which didn't work well and was noisy.
service person saw us walking to elevator pushed up button for us.thoughtful
only 1 comfortable chair per room, pillows to soft, dinning area too small
The hotel staff were friendly & accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. The hotel was within walking distance to the beach.
Can't really say anything bad.
Mold in the bathroom. Sand on the floor at check in and window was dirty. Makes me wonder what else wasn't truly cleaned.
they upgraded us to a great room, because it was our honeymoon. That great customer service!
the view wasnt the best.
It was a quality stay. Location was just a walk away from the entertainment hart of the city. Many restaurants within walking distance. Norma's is a must.
Fog!!! Couldn't see the ocean.
I enjoyed the room size and tat we were so close to all the shops and restaurants. Great view of the river. Clean and tidy.
The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. The food was awful and the seating area was tiny. I had to eat my food on the couch near the front doors.
We needed a place away from work to rest - it was close to walk when we wanted to and comfortable room and pillows - for sleeping when we needed to. Enjoyed being close to lobby.
coffee and tea empty in night when I couldn't sleep - not a big deal.
I liked that the pool and hot tub were 24 hour for people over 21.
The breakfast was a little thin. Normally I wouldn't complain, but for the price, I think the quality could have been higher. Also, a snack machine on a couple of the floors, or even somewhere in the lobby, instead of just soda machines would have been great. I was hungry late at night, and just had to stay hungry until the rather thin breakfast. We took one look, and went out instead.
Loved the room size and cleanliness
Facility & staff all great. Breakfast was good room was spotless and the bed was awesome.
Great spacious room. Wifi and HD TV readily available. Clean and cozy. When we arrived we were booked in a standard room (queen sized bed) when I thought I was going to be able to choose upon arrival. (Last time I book through booking.com) The manager at the hotel sensed my disappointment and went ahead and upgraded us to a king bed! And this was on the 4th of July weekend when they didnt have a lot of extra rooms available. It was a great gesture and I really appreciated them going that extra step to make us comfortable. Staff was excellent and friendly and dealt with every request immediately.
The breakfast was horrible. It's part of the package when you book a room; pretty standard on most hotels, but this is one area they really need to step it up. We got up early enough (breakfast starts at 6am and we got there around 6:30am) so it was about as fresh as could be. The food was tastless. The juices were watery (my two year old wouldn't even drink the apple juice. That's bad!) And the variety was minimal. They had trouble keeping it stocked too. I mean, they actually ran out of hot water. (No instant oatmeal for you!) Everything else at the hotel rocked but the breakfast. I wouldn't call it a dealbreaker though. We'd go back. Just, go out to eat for breakfast.
