I booked this hotel through booking.com for $46. My husband was flying out early the next morning, so we wanted something near the airport that wasn't too expensive. After I booked it I was looking at the reviews and got worried after reading them. I did not experience anything that other reviewers wrote so I wanted to make sure I wrote one. We got there about 5pm and the staff was very nice and helpful. they explained where everything was and the hours for the pool, business center, fitness center and how to connect to the free WI-FI. We made a wake-up call, which was done on-time. We got a non-smoking room in building D. There was a small walkway balcony you could stand on overlooking the pool. The room was really nice (not $200 a night nice) but for the money it was excellent. The carpets and bedding were very clean, the room smelled good and they even had the a/c on for us when we got there, which was very nice coming out of a hot Florida afternoon. The TV's aren't the newer flat screen, so the picture wasn't as good as what I'm used to but still good. the Room had basic cable. They also had a small fridge, microwave, ironing board, and hair dryer in the room. At the end of the parking lot there's a 7-11 in case you want drinks or snacks. The only complaint I had was the door to the room sticks when close it so you have to push on it and make sure it's closed. It sounded like a lot of them were like that b/c you could hear someone slam the door every once in a while. Right next to the hotel was a little restaurant/bar called Pollos A La Braza Mario, we decided to eat there. some of the meals are very high priced but I ended up getting Pechuga a La Plancha - Grilled Chicken Cutlet and my husband got Chuleta a La Parrilla-Grilled pork Chops. The food was excellent! We each had 2 plates, one with salad and rice and the other with our meat and side (mine had french fries, his had plantians and a bowl of red beans) we ended up spending about $36 with the tip.

Location, location, location. The Inn was close to freeway (convenient to reach), close to the Flordia Mall (convenient for dinner) and close to the Orlando International Airport (convenient for flying home very early in the morning). There was little noise once inside our room, the bed was comfortable for me and my husband, and the children shared another bed which was comfortable for them. Our fridge kept our water and travel food cool, ready for the trip home. The view of the pool outside our window was inviting. We could not use it because of the short amount of time we spent at the Inn. We received extra towels promptly when we asked for a better supply so everyone could have their own for a shower. Opening the door was complicated because we didn't try to open the handle up, not down after the green light glowed.

Staff were helpful and polite. Not happy with your hotel keeping all my personal passport details and my credit card details on your files. I spoke to Maureen at reception about this and she at least blocked off my visa card number and I appreciated her doing this however again I am not happy that all my personal details of passport/card details are kept in your files. I am going to query the American Embassy regarding this matter as it can become a security breach as easy to copy my details as everything is available to many people at your organisation.

Website gave us a totally different view to what was provided... Whilst the reception area of the inn looked nice in the pictures, the rooms provided at the back of the inn were just plain old and awful... Tatty, dirty and basically left me feeling horrible, and couldn't wait to leave. Toilet/shower facilities were dirty., The outside of the building was filthy, the room just felt grubby and old and not very nice. The bathroom was dirty and I will never book to stay there again, and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Dear Sirs There was nothing good about your hotel , you should go in person and review the conditions of the room. It was so bad that I had to check out on the very next morning of my arrival. Shame on your company! I have pictures taken of all the terrible connditions in our room. Rust in all the nathroom , dirty and humedity in the walls , electrical appliances old and out of conditions. I regret choosing your hotel and I will request my money back for the night I paid and have to spent in another hotel. Sincerely Eduardo Vila bencon corp miami fl usa

The hotel was basically clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located in a questionable area of Orlando. There is a train track just off the parking lot. Numerous trains travel the track in the middle of the night, making sleep difficult. The smell of the raw sewage coming from right next to the track was really unpleasant. While the staff was friendly, they were unable to answer questions about area theme parks.

Good price, large room, good swimming pool, good location: lynx links 111 (in front of door) bus directly goes to Disney land, and links 37 (in Florida Mall, 10 minutes by walk from hotel) goes to Universal Studio. Airport shuttle service is not punctual at all. We wait 1 hour in the airport, The shuttle still didn't come, then we took bus (link 42) to Florida Mall and walked to the hotel. After we arrived, we noticed that link 111 can directly go from the airport to the front door of hotel. Also, the breakfast is very simple. Only two bread oven, many people were waiting for baking bread. I don't understand why don't they provide more bread oven which is very cheap.

Inexpensive rate Witnessed in 6 days of stay, staff members using amenities for guests, sitting around and chatting, smoking and extremely unprofessional in front of guests. At one point, I wanted to use computer to check my emails in lobby area and a housekeeper was obviously on her break was using internet for personal use. I waited for about 15 minutes and eventually got frustrated enough from waiting that I just left hotel and went to my room. Staff members were very unwelcoming and unfriendly. Very dry and uncomfortable environment overall, staff and hotel. I eventually asked a local friend to pick me up to stay at their residence due to below satisfactory and unacceptable service with the hotel. Never again will I pay to stay or recommend any of my colleagues or friends to Baymont Inn, regardless of cheap rates. My safety and great service are my priorities when it comes to my hotel stay.

The suites were very large, though dated and somewhat shabby. The staff was the worst I have ever encountered. They were indifferent to our basic needs, lazy and all together unwilling to help in any way. A complete turnover in staff would surely make up for this facilities other shortcomings.

Visiting Universal Parks We were told the reservations had been cancelled prior to us arriving. We had to work through that. We were given rooms that were not supposed to be rented according to the head maintenance man. Many problems with the room, leaking air conditioner in one room, TV's didn't work, rooms were dirty, air conditioner in the other room did not work, had to return three times to desk because keys did not work. Received a call from Booking.Com around 11 P.M. to ask about the reservations, all he said many times was he was sorry and that he couldn't do much else, if anything. We left before the last night because of all the problems.

I thought the hotel lobby was nice and the restaurant seemed nice, although we were not able to eat their complimentary breakfast as we had to leave early. Their pool courtyard was pretty. I did not like the problem the front desk gave me in using a debit card to pay for my room (same card I used to reserve the room online, I had to pay cash. I did not like the backside of the building and parking situation, felt it was unsafe and not clean. The backside of the building D was where the rooms are that have two double beds and where we had to stay. Some of the entry doors that were suppose to be security with access by your room key opened without and were broken. Room carpet was filthy, towels cheap, room needed painted, sheets were clean but were not nice and needed new sheets. I would not stay here again.

Cheap. This is not a hotel for the family or to stay multiple nights, it's a one night on the go hotel, mostly used by truck drivers (nothing wrong with that, just not a vacations hotel). It was very cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. Rooms were not clean at all.... actually I had to skip the shower that night.

The rooms were clean and large and recently updated - recently being in the last few years. Free WiFi. The trains - no one mentioned that trains run through your room! They are so close you can hear the track ties creak under load. I believe you could leave pennies in the halls and come back and they would have been flattened.
