Holiday Inn Houston Intercontinental Airport    

I liked the restaurant, as a solo traveler it was great not to have to worry about where to eat. My son recommended it to me as he often stays there on business.

Shuttle and breakfast were fine. Good comfy bed/pillows.

Swipe card to get into room kept not working, and the staff weren't overly helpful in trying to sort this. After trudging up and down to my room to test the door, and getting a replacement card which worked, it also turned out that the door handle needs to be pushed up, rather than down as is conventional.

The duvet closer aren´t clean thats why I feel with allergies. My reservation was included beakfast and they say that i need to pay. It's so scary and isolated when you are alone. the food wasn´t good.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Breakfast was fine. It starts at 6am which is good.

Had to wait about 20 mins for shuttle from the airport. It was so packed, that we had to stand in the bus. Hardly safe, but it was late at night after a long flight. There was chaotic scenes at check-in. Two staff dealing with about 30 check-ins meant that the process took over 30 minutes. To make things worse, the hotel had ''run out of room keys". So we had to be let into our room, with the promise our keys being put under the door later. At the end of a long flight, this wasn't good, and certainly not for the price.

Room ok, but dated, shabby. Glad staff cancelled our return night.

Friendly staff, very convenient airport shuttle (every half hour), swimming pool as big as on the Booking.com pictures, dinner menu with enough choice for a stay of several days

My room had a communication door with another room, which didn't really block noises - you can't blame people for talking at 9 or 10 pm, but it can be really annoying when the guy next door is in conference call at 2:50 am!

free airport/shopping shuttle that ran on a regular schedule helpful, courteous staff clean, bright rooms

was in a room next to the boiler room and phoned front desk at 2 a.m as it was impossible to sleep due to noise coming from the boiler room (the noise had not been there the night before). Was given a new room in the morning after a sleepless night just wish it was offered at 2 a.m. but in all fairness I did not request one.

Clean, convienent, self contained with no need to go anywhere else. Shuttle to airport. Staff had great attitude.

Kids playing on the computers provided for hotel patrons trying to make business connections.

I like that there was a restaurant downstairs so I didn't have to leave the hotel. I left my cell phone charger, Brenda from housekeeping along with another young lady was very sweet about shipping it to me.

One of my keys didn't work. One of my lamps didn't work. I booked a room for 2 people and only received 1 washcloth. Price.

Food in restaurant was very good. Service was attentive, though a little too quick to ask for next course requests before I'd finished current one! Room was comfortable and clean. Transport to/from airport excellent and free (unlike London!)

Noise from traffic. Soundproofing not good. Distance from reception...would not be good for someone unable to walk long distances

It was suppose to be closer to the airport. Installations look old and not so clean Perhaps to expensive ($177) for the type of hotel

Not very friendly ! Disorganized. Took 59 minutes to get picked up after calling

It's near the airport, has free shuttle to the airport, clean and relatively spacious.

Toilet is too cramp, shuttle may be full and the hotel has no arrangements for additional shuttle but must wait half hour for the next one. It'll be better if they have a sign-up sheet so that they know how many guests want to leave at which time.

Fitness center, attached restaurant, comfortable bed. Staff was kind enough to relocate us when we appraised them of items in adjacent box.

First room assigned (556) had no TV,empty coke can on dresser,no towels. Second room (506) was fine except neither the sink nor tub drained properly and the shower control was very hard to operate (wife did not have hand strength to control it). Taking a shower resulted in standing in ankle deep water each time.

Room was excellent/ food in associated restrruant was very good.

Close to airport, free internet.

Couldnt walk to the local shops / restuarants / bars.

free shuttle from airport since I had to stay in Houston overnight to continue my flight itinerary.
