pricey but acceptable
our flight was delayed so the restaurant / bar was closed (11pm) so we didnt get an meal or a drink & there is NOTHING else locally apart from usual take aways
All the staff were knowledgeable and polite. Be it at front desk, restaurant or housekeeping. A pleasure to stay here.
Overall great but Please consider putting a small play area (baby swing/slide) on the property grounds to make it more child friendly. Thanks.

We needed a hotel for the night before heading into New York for the first time. We were given maps and the receptionist explained and took her time with us.
Close to airport, lots of restaurants close by
shuttle only every 30 min VERY Noisy on the side of the highway no water no tissue in the room
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Food wasn't great. Staff in restaurant seemed bored and not as pleasant as check in staff

Shuttle service from the airport was not as frequent as other hotels?
Staff was extremely pleasant and compensated us a breakfast because cigarette smoke was coming into our room even though the hotel is deemed non-smoking.
The location. It is located next to a scrap metal recycling facility and can't walk anywhere so you are basically trapped inside the hotel. $65 cab ride to city and not close to public transportation.
My booking showed that breakfast was including in my stay but I was told no at the front desk. ? That's my only complain. You people should clear that up with booking agent

staff, rooms, bed & restaurant where all excellent and excactly what you need, Friendly, efficient, comfortable and clean. The free shuttle service made an extra de- tour to drop us at the car rental area.

The travel from the hotel to the city and back is very long (over an hour) and arduous.

Location & area next to hotel was not so good, but we stayed only 1 night because it was near JFK, & hotel had free shuttle to the airport.
I like the area you have a lot of shops and eating places to choice from.
I didn't like because there's not microwave's are refrigerators in the room. I paid a excellent price to have the both.

I called hotel for directions to shuttle - we ended up taking a cab. For non-NYers with jet lag, please keep in mind, we might need more than "follow the signs" if we took the time to call. The restaurant staff treated us terribly - we were hungry and tired and a simple meal took us over 2 hours. My father asked three times for a simple glass of water, and when my husband tried to help the waiter sort out an order he had mixed up the next morning at breakfast, he was rude (and still got it wrong). Worst of all - my parents' flight was canceled because of storms and when they called this hotel back for a room (they knew nowhere else), they were given a reservation, but told they couldn't get the room until they knew what they'd paid the night before, "because they were sure the rates had gone up since then." Hmmm...?
