Noise in the hotel, enabling only 2 broken hours of sleep
Your beds are fantastic
In the booking breakfast was included, however upon getting to the restaurant it was pegged at a certain rate
the drivers and receptionist
Staff were very courteous and helpful. The shuttle service to the airport was an amazing plus!
staff, rooms, bed & restaurant where all excellent and excactly what you need, Friendly, efficient, comfortable and clean. The free shuttle service made an extra de- tour to drop us at the car rental area.
- bathroom somewhat small.
New hotel, very clean
The travel from the hotel to the city and back is very long (over an hour) and arduous.
Exellent food & helpful staff, nice rooms
Location & area next to hotel was not so good, but we stayed only 1 night because it was near JFK, & hotel had free shuttle to the airport.
I like the area you have a lot of shops and eating places to choice from.
I didn't like because there's not microwave's are refrigerators in the room. I paid a excellent price to have the both.
Staff, comfort, convenience and local area.
Noise of the airplanes
JFK location. Clean. Modern facilities.lovely room. Good breakfast
Road traffic noise was awful !
proximity to JFK and free parking, comfort and cleanliness and courteous staff
Appreciated the business center/use of printer.Room was clean and comfortable. Shuttle back to airport was also appreciated.
I called hotel for directions to shuttle - we ended up taking a cab. For non-NYers with jet lag, please keep in mind, we might need more than "follow the signs" if we took the time to call. The restaurant staff treated us terribly - we were hungry and tired and a simple meal took us over 2 hours. My father asked three times for a simple glass of water, and when my husband tried to help the waiter sort out an order he had mixed up the next morning at breakfast, he was rude (and still got it wrong). Worst of all - my parents' flight was canceled because of storms and when they called this hotel back for a room (they knew nowhere else), they were given a reservation, but told they couldn't get the room until they knew what they'd paid the night before, "because they were sure the rates had gone up since then." Hmmm...?
The toilet seat kept moving it wasn't attached. For a room with Queen beds it would have been nicer to have more walking space. I think the square footage was to small.
Overall we had a good experience.
In the morning that we checked out, I realized that we were over billed for $20. I went to talk to the reception and was made aware that I signed the paper when I checked in that had the wrong amount. I apologized for missing it in the first round and asked if she could adjusted it. She started to be very inpatient and hit the keyboard hard without telling me yes or no. I told her I was in a hurry to go to the airport and she simply said she understood, nothing else. A few minutes later when I was about to leave, she finally told me that she adjusted the price. What I wanted to say is that she could have told me she was trying and I would know what to do. She could gave used a better customer service attitude.
Shuttle bus will pick you up from airport. Also leaves hotel frequently during day from hotel so if going shopping into city is ideal. Room was clean, well presented. Staff helpful with getting around.
Staff very helpful - facilities very good - liked the wifi
Noise level - hotel better for someone staying for one night with a trip to airport - stayed 3 nights with a lot of early risers and near the highway
room, free wifi
far from shops, no buses had to get taxis all the time
I appreciated the Airport shuttle and priority club late checkout.
Can't think of anything too bad though the price was a lil bit steep for free breakfast not to be inclusive.
The hotel is not at rhe location and address as shown on booking.com
We loved the staff, they were all great but Ron and Manny in the restaurant/bar were both exceptional.
When we first arrived we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and right next to a recycling plant. We found that the free shuttle could take us to a public transportation hub within minutes.
friendly front desk
dinner took an hour & half when told it would be 20 mins
The reception was cordial.
I was asked to pay more than the figure quoted when the reservation was made. Room#325 I occupied did not have writing paper and pen. It seems to me that this room had not been prepared for the next client.
Room are new and clean, fast wifi, nice waiting hall
Bad sound isolation - very noisy. Some rooms are in a basement without proper ventilation. You can easily wait shuttle for an hour on late arrivals even after giving them a call - we were waiting 40 mins, took the cab finally and when arrived the shuttle bus was still at the hotel, loads of other hotel shuttles passed during this time. 11 am checkout time. No fridge in rooms. The ride from JFK takes 20-30 mins.
Staff in the bar / restaurant
It wasn't a good stay: - Outside noise from the highway (hotel is surrounded by two) travels straight through the AC. I was on the top floor. - Room next to me had partying kids - Night team clearly doesn't do fire walks, which is a health and safety concern or simply ignores the noise. -Hair in the bathtub and sink, bottle of shower gel was half full. Apparently I had to use the previous guests left overs. I was there for a few hours only and didn't bother to complain.
