The staff was helpful in recommending a local restaurant for dinner before the concert at the Sprint Center as well as providing us with a coupon. Also enjoyed breakfast on them!
Not a thing.
I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. They were very courteous and helpful. The history of the hotel intrigued me. The bed was comfortable and shower was great. The room could have been cleaner. There was a shoe under our bed.. no it was not ours.
The room could have been cleaner. There was a shoe under our bed.. no it was not ours. The bathroom had hair in it, not ours. The coffee pot still had water in it. There was dust on the shelves.
Ambiance; beds incredibly comfortable; décor very art deco; made me feel like I was back in time during Great Gatsby period; Very very cool!! Most of the front desk staff very pleasant; One exceptional room service attendant brought me more than what I asked for. Wonderful young lady.
Parking cost; Young man at front desk next day for checkout. Needs a vacation probably. Clearly does not enjoy his job nor takes pride in what he wears to be a rep for the hotel. May want to rethink his appearance and overall attitude if he is going to work with the public at the front desk.
Location Breakfast Bed
Size of room Quality of room Pillows- horribly fat
Location, old style building.
Really...mold all over the shower!
Location to the Sprint Center
The price for the size of the room. No refrigerator.
It was close to the power and light district
We were in a room right by the elevator. All night we heard the doors opening and closing. I thought I paid way to much for one of the worst rooms. The shower head was broke and wouldn't stay in place. And the shower would leak all over the bathroom floor.
The view was amazing and the room was really neat.
The bed was hard and I could feel the springs. I also found a dried contact on the bathroom counter.
The room was large enough to comfortably accommodate 2 young children. Front desk staff very friendly.
Very small bathroom. Only two very small.trashcans in room. Having to pay for parking every time we left hotel parking lot across the street. Why don't they validate? No late check out option without paying for a half day.
Location. Location. Location.
We could hear guests talking out in the hallway. We could hear guests talking in the next room. A few of the electrical outlets weren't functioning. Outdated equipment in the fitness center. Our room was located next to the stairwell and we heard every time the door leading to it opened and closed. Compared to other hotels we've stayed in, the room was very small. The view of the alley way and roof top unit wasn't pleasant.
Great location in proximity to power and light.
Parking was a little rough, could have spent more on a hotel with own parking garage. Fitness center was poorly maintained.
This is the 2nd stay at this hotel. This stay was just as bad as the first. We wanted to give it a second chance because it was close to the places we were going. The ice maker was broke..again and the ac unit was not working properly ...again. Definately not worth the almost $200 I paid for the room..each time. We will not be back!
Mixture of old and new
Hotel is very hot- room was about 75 degrees the whole time when we had thermostat set on 66 (lowest it would go). Very uncomfortable
Very friendly staff especially the two guards at the entrance
The breakfast had limited choices
Great location and I was staying with my daughter's volleyball team for the Kansas City "SHOW ME" . USA Volleyball Tournament April 4th to 7th 2014
The rooms were really tiny!
close to convention center
the rooms a $75.00 a nite room not $185
Valet parking only. Room was small with a view of a brick wall.
The price I was quoted was less than what my bill at checkout
The valet was horrible. Just wanted us to park our car on the street and they would get to it sometime. Didn't mind that, but the whole street is No Parking, there fore I didn't really want my car towed. They acted like they have never been that busy before and the staff did not know how to handle it. We stayed there for a concert, and there was also a wedding party. Very busy and hectic.
We were on a tight schedule, and the valet service was prompt and attentive.
We liked everything.
We were able to walk to our function which was great. The beds were wonderful, staff were excellent and very helpful. Judi - Bolivar
staff was nice.
My TV did not work. The bed was like sleeping on cardboard. The parking deck was full so had to park 3 blocks away. This was the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed in and the worst... would not recommend it to anyone.
