Score from 299 reviews Very good
The hotel is very nice, I had a good view looking from my suite.
Nothing it was nice
Comfy bed, large walk-in shower, free water, location near Metro (train) stations which take you e.g. to Hollywood for $ 1,75 also taxi/car-service to LAX fixed price $ 55,- with very friendly chauffeur and very nice car when you don't want to take a shared ride or train - I prefer this location over a beach hotel as from here you can go anywhere easily, and Staples Center, Starbucks, shops, supermarket around the corner
No bath tub, Expo Metro line not going to Santa Monica beach (yet), sometimes very cold airco in bus and/or train
Location.its close to staple centre but the restaurants nearby are not that tasty.
I got unconnected with the wifi all the time which is quite annoying. Could hear noises such as other rooms' water noise, noise from street.and there was valet parking only which cost $44 per day after tax!!!
Staff were friendly. Nice room. Good location.
Food was ok but a little pricey for what you received.
Location was fantastic and staff was helpful.
The hotel was noisy. The AC was loud and clanky each time it came on. The hotel next door had a huge outdoor concert until the wee hours of the morning one night and kept me up.
Nice and luxurious rooms, just as in the other luxe hotels in LA. Good breakfast. Nice location in downtown LA.
Ok renovation on a very old property. Go somewhere else. Very overpriced.
Overpriced. Staff was not very friendly. Waited in restaurant 10 minutes after being seated for breakfast and nobody even came over to say a word to me. There were several people who walked by me though.
Not happy with the extra cost for parking my car overnight and the lack of disclosure of the cost at the time of booking.
Great looking hotel with excellent service. Downtown Los Angeles is not the safest area but the hotel and the staples center location are OK.
The parking was very expensive at $44/day
Very convenient location across the street from Staples Center and Nokia Theater. Great bar and restaurant on site with excellent service.
$44 per night parking (valet only) for hotel guests, although the rate for visitors were $10 all day! Fitness room was minimal - one each of bike, treadmill, and stairmaster
All Of It!
They Need To Repeat The Order Back When Ordering Room Service For No Mistakes
Rooms were comfortable and updated. I believe this is a renovated hotel. Location is it's saving grace
Customer service at the front counter was rough. Rooms not ready on time - over an hour late and the excuse was that there were other customers ahead of us. Bar staff inattentive.
Location. Decor. Price compared to other LA Live hotels.
Room was not ready at check-in time. Had to check in two hours late - 5:00 pm. Altered dinner reservations and evening plans for one night stay-not good. AC would not turn on in the evening-room did not get cooler than 76°-not good.
Good clean budget hotel with a good sized room and bathroom. The location was great, less than 10 minutes walk to the downtown Metro.
Dance music from the front bar/ nightclub was loud and played till 2am. We requested a quiet room and we could still hear it on the 4th floor (our room was facing the rear of the Luxe bldg).
Luxury Rooms, Location ideal for a young couple next to the LA Live complex - plenty of restaurants, bars etc.
parking is too expensive.
Location of the hotel was excellent. Right in city centre. Lot of eating and shopping options at walking distance. The metro station on 7 street was also about 500 m away. Buses and taxies also easily available. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff too was friendly and courteous.
In general it is good
The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were attractive and clean and the hotel was across the street from lots of great restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to everyone.
I loved the modern, sleek feel! The restrooms were all new and the shower was amazing!
I didn't like that they charge a service fee for room service.
It is beautiful!!
I hate that we are charged for parking. We stayed there one night.
they hold 3,000$from my visa with out telling us and then they telled us that the money will be back after 15 day!!!!! and that was the most terrible thing that hapend to us!
Near LA Live
Only valet parking no self parking and it costs 40$ !!
We stayed here for 1 night to see Justin Timberlake at the Staples Centre, couldn't have chosen a better hotel or location. Wish we had stayed longer - it was a very safe, clean and exciting part of LA
