Score from 1202 reviews Excellent
clean, quick check-in, good beds
expensive breakfast and beers, no bar or facilities, no atmosphere
Good, kind staff
The free wifi really sucks. You keep get disconnected in every 4-5 min. Since I have to use wifi and Skype with people during my stay, I mainly used my personal hotspot. The location is quite not very safe, I would prefer midtown next time.
Clean, polite, comfortable and a good location. Very happy with our stay and the overall experience.
Great friendly staff and cosy, well-maintained rooms
Thought the restaurant could have been a little bit better
Easy access to subway and walking distance to a great deal of interesting areas!
Shower didn't drain well .had to stand in 6 inches of water.
Loved the price and room decor
Sometimes hard to get a cab out front
Friendly Staff, nice clean room, quite, and the location is good
1-The vender machine in the 5th floor has no water for 3 days I had to go down to the 3d floor to use the one there 2-the wifi is really poor
Clean, location, safe
A bit noisy in the area at night with sirens
Rooms are very small
Location Nearby Bars and Restaurants Value Subway nearby
The staff were great, the hotel was clean and beds very comfortable!
No negative comments to give!
big rooms, great breakfast, very clean, high standards of Holiday Inn.
a bit far from center of town, wifi disconnects every 15 min which can drive you crazy.
Had housekeeping show up at 3:45pm to clean our room after first night. We had just come back up to room after being out all day and finding t still not clean was a disappointment. Had her just leave towels. After the second night, same thing, came back to room around 2:30. Not cleaned yet. Called down to desk and was told I would have needed to "ask to have room cleaned earlier because housekeeping stayed until 5pm." Waited until like 4pm and still no housekeeping. Called down to desk, and again we just asked for towels to be brought up. This was all very disappointing, would have liked a freshened up room each day after coming back from shopping, etc.
The hotel is conveniently located in Lower East Side near a subway station, and the hotel us clean and comfortable.
Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Close to lots of great bars. Room was lovely. Couldn't fault anything.
Excellent location as neanearby attractions to lower Manhattan. Near to Subway station Essex St. Hotel staff was good.
Need to pay for refrigerator on daily fee. Lack of good shopping interest nearby.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location near subways and many restaurants.
No Breakfast available before 7.
Everything! but especially Maria on the front desk--ever cheerful and helpful! Location convenient to everything we wanted to see--Fringe Festival, Tenement Museum, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge! But Delancey-Essex subway station actually made it convenient to all of NYC. On our last day we went to the Cloisters at the very NW corner of the island. (A Train all the way!) Very helpful that there is a small in-house restaurant especially on that first night when we were very tired. Very helpful that we could stash our bags before check-in and after check-out for maximum unencumbered sightseeing! All staff friendly and helpful but Maria a real standout! We had a great time!
Can't think of a single thing!!
the location is quite good if you like to visit different parts of new york. the hotel appears well-kept and it was very clean.
the rooms were quite small and the air-con is really very loud.
staff affordable breakfast area
small rooms noisy on rooms facing main road
Bad Sound isolation
Location is good. All the services are perfect. This is a brand new hotel, you could not go wrong with it.
